My primary care physician, whom I love, is quitting Graybill (not surprising). I was scheduled for MRI imaging but after waiting months for my appointment the imaging service called to tell me that their machine is broken and no schedule for repair or a new appointment. Received an order to see a urologist but 4 months to see them. Appointment services are now provided by a South American call center that sounds like, well, a giant call center. Barely understand with the heavy accent and the background noise. Graybill is broken and management doesn't care. read more

My doctor is Dr. Tinio whom I like because he is good doctor, however his staff is rude, incompetent, and dense. After a visit with my doctor, he ordered a series of tests. After about a week, I called different facilities to schedule appointments for the ordered tests. After a week, Dr. Tinio's staff had failed to call in the orders, so I had call them and leave them a message. Couple of days later, a female staff who was very rude and hostile called me to let me know they had finally ordered the test, but when I called to schedule the appointments with the imaging center I was told that the insurance company had denied the exam request. So I had to call the insurance company to find out the reason for denial and was told it was because the Greybill staff had failed to provide the full documentation needed to the imaging center. After being on the phone for majority of the the without any results, the same abusive and rude woman called me to let me know that they sent the documentation but since it was too late I would have to wait until next week to schedule an appointment. That is assuming this time they did their job correctly! Although I like Dr. Tinio, I think I am going to look for another provider which is unfortunate. read more

Doctor Gosalia is wonderful. That's the only reason I haven't yet gone elsewhere. This office is part of a conglomerate spanning Southern CA. Communication is slow and poor. At the moment I can't even get someone on the phone (rings several times and then goes silent). When they do answer, it's seemingly someone in a call center who just relays my message...usually...eventually. I've still had better luck that route, vs their online portal. If I could call the front desk at this office directly and get a person there, I'd have no issues. But they aren't set up that way, and even getting transferred is a hassle. read more

I love my PCP Dr Burzell and his PA Shiloh. Easy to get same day appts They are both cordial and down to earth. Located in Carlsbad/Oceanside area. What I do not understand is why The closet Urgent Care and X Ray dept. is in Escondido. Today I had to drive 30 miles to Escondido to get a couple test done. When I was already not feeling well- this 60 mile to and from wore me out. If you are going to have MDs on the coast- offer other services close by. This is not okay! read more

My Doctor Is Nupor Gosalia. I retired almot three years ago from my job. I did not want to lose her because she listens, takes the time to explain and will refer you out if needed. I have also seen doctor Stephen Tinio when my doctor is fully booked. He is also very attentive. I dropped a heavy chair on my foot and I could not walk. I called Graybill, My doctor was fully booked. but Dr Tinio was available. He immediately ordered X-ray of my foot so that he would have the records by the time I arrived. Excellent care read more

I went to see Dr. Tinnio on Friday for a persistent cough I was having. After my examination, he said that he wanted to see if my body was able to take care of the cough naturally, if it persisted he would prescribe Anti-Biotics to get rid of the Cough. I have had this in the past, so thought okay. I suffered thru the weekend coughing enough Phlegm to fill a water bottle. So, I call the Doctor's Office on Monday and was passed over to a PA named Jennifer, no I take that back. She did not call, it was a return call from the Nurses. They read the Doctors Note, but Jennifer decided that she would need to examine me again. This of course means that they want to collect another $100 CoPay at the Front Desk. EVEN THOUGH MY COPAY IS CLEARLY LISTED AS $20.00 on my Insurance Policy. Anyway, I guess a PA knows more than a Trained Doctor, WHICH IS WHY I REFUSE TO SEE JENNIFER....SHE IS HORRIBLE!! The actual doctors visit was fine, it was all the follow up that was a disaster. They call you at 430p right before they are about to leave, dont call you back for days. Apparently Iris is the only person in the whole office that can help me, and she's never available. I just asked the call center to send me my results in the mail bc getting a hold of anybody that knows anything is nearly impossible. Havent received anything in the mail yet and its going on a week. Just terrible follow up. Hopefully you dont have cancer or anything terrible, bc they dont care enough to call you and let you know. read more

This place literally has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I actually avoid taking anyone in my family to the doctor, purely because I don't want to step foot over the threshold of this god-awful place. Let me give you an example: My son had measle-like symptoms a couple of months ago. I held out for a day and then out of concern I decided that it was worth the risk to bring him in. I also had my three-year old. The waiting room is small and is for pediatrics AND ALSO adult services. So a bunch of sick people are crammed into a tiny room. Even after I checked it, I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen. I actually heard the receptionist tell the Pediatrician that there was no one left waiting for her. I was the only one in the waiting room at this point, as everyone else had been helped. AND THERE IS ONLY ONE PEDIATRICAN. WHO ELSE WOULD I BE WAITING FOR? Between my son who had measle-like symptoms, and the other child in there that clearly had a fever and was coughing on everyone, it was cesspool. I am quite convinced that we've gotten sick from just going in for regular check-ups. If you have a choice-- choose somewhere else. read more

So, I just recently signed my wife and I up for platinum level health insurance through Sharp. My primary care physician was "not in their network", so they chose Dr Burzell at Graybill Medical to be our PCP. Fine. I called and set up an appointment for an initial visit as requested by the health plan. The receptionist was nice and polite on the phone, but only had a 1:30 pm available on the following Thursday. I accepted this appointment, and scheduled with my work to take a half day on that Thursday even though this causes me to lose income. I just showed up for my appointment a few minutes ago, and the receptionist tells me that my appointment had been rescheduled for next Thursday at 1:30. I asked why it had been rescheduled, and why I hadn't been notified, she said she didn't know. I asked her if it was common for them to reschedule people without informing them, she said she didn't know. I asked if they could cover the half day of work that I didn't get paid for, she said no. Pretty strange. I will update this after my next appointment. I am living in serious pain, I pay for the top tier insurance out of my own pocket, and am being treated horribly so far by Graybill Medical Group. read more

First time at this location and I was impressed! The front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. We met with Dr. Mody and she was amazing. She listened, actually listened and she knew her stuff. She didn't try to push meds or rush us out of the office. She was friendly, professional and caring. Obviously this was just our first visit but we are happy to have found a place where we actually like our doctor! UPDATE We still like this place. At times it can be hetic with the front desk staff trying to help everyone but they are still friendly. I do have a small issue with some of the nursing staff. I understand that they are there to be the buffer for the doctor but sometimes when a patient needs to speak with the doctor they legitmatley NEED to speak with the doctor and not their nurse. At other times they are busy and when they respond to you it is a bit short and lacking compassion. Not rude just down to business with no finess, however once the doctor comes in she is all bedside manner and the experience gets turned back around. I would still highly recommend this doctor at this location! read more

My family relocated from across the country and we are lucky to have found Dr. Gosalia and the wonderful associates and staff in the office. We are always greeted with a smile and never have a long wait. Dr. Gosalia is simply amazing, she always takes her time and you never feel rushed. Her knowledge and ability to explain everything at a layman's level is nothing short of extraordinary. She is compassionate and one of the best doctors I have ever had. Graybill Medical Group needs to fire whoever was answering the phone Friday, April 1, 2016 at 5:10pm. She was the rudest, snottiest, ...ok, you know what other word I'm looking for ... customer assistance entity (I cannot in good conscience employ the word "professional" here) whom I have encountered in years. (I called the number listed on the website , 866-228-2236, which is the only contact phone number I can find for Graybill.) I called with a simple question which turned into a request that she pass on to Graybill the fact that--according to her--Graybill has incorrect information posted in two places about its hours. Hilariously, I now see that there is even a photo posted for Graybill's Yelp profile showing the same Friday hours that, according to the "answering service," are incorrect. This person began arguing with me about the fact that "no location closes later than 5pm on Friday." It took me several painstaking, careful repetitions to get her to understand that I simply wanted her to pass on the message--because taking messages is, like, part of her JOB, right?--that both the website and the automated answering message that I had to navigate through in order to reach a human person, and the Yelp photo of a Graybill location office door, state that Friday hours for this location extend to 8pm, and that Graybill should probably correct that published info if, as she insisted in as rude a fashion as possible, that info is incorrect. As if this mere fact weren't sufficiently bad customer service, this "answering service" girl was a huge you-know-what to me about taking this message, and to crown her entire shite performance, she--you guessed it--hung up on me. First impressions matter: I'm a potential new patient, and you can well imagine that this little encounter did nothing to endear Graybill Medical Group to me as a future patient. I used to take my dad here. You would think that they would make the waiting room bigger, because there are usually multiple doctors there at the same time seeing patients. I don't think my dad ever saw the doctor at the scheduled time; wait times were usually 30-45 minutes beyond the appointment time before he was taken into the patient room. Then add another 10-15 minutes before the doctor saw him. It got to be too much for him and me. Luckily, I found the San Diego Mobile doctors. The doctors and staff there are fantastic, and they were able to care for my dad by coming to the house, always punctual, friendly and caring. If you're looking for a doctor, do yourself a favor. Run away from anything that is associated with Graybill. For this corporation, it's all about the money. read more

He has always been incredibly helpful, and does his best to help me get back to my optimal health. Whenever I go into the office, I have also always experienced great customer service, and am actually so confused by all the negative reviews! If I could give zero stars are -10 I would give it to this office because I was treated so horribly there after getting some type of infection from from running into getting some type of infection from an an accident construction site Dr gosalia treated me with so poor care I would have been better off going to a vet. She constantly doubted any of my symptoms and I had to repeatedly request every lab specialist and medication as she didn't even examine after Ewing her 3 times. It's 8 months after this started and I still dealing with it. I just received a letter stating I ignored her referrals and labs which is absurdly false and ridiculous considering what I had to do to get those appts and labs pushed through. At one point she told me I was taking a kidney test and it was a drug test. They hand you a cup and say to write your name on it go pee and put it in a unattended bread basket in the office So unprofessional. I told them how unprofessional that was and I believe they changed the way they do it but it's just ridiculous Lou's how poor the level of care has been here. I'm a 40 yr old man who has been in perfect health my entire life and have no clue why anyone would want to go see 10 drs if they were not feeling so awful. I would avoid this place at all costs. There was so many more awful things that occurred under there care but I don't want to re live them. I once had a dr at Kaiser tell me I had tendinitis after tearing my all and fracturing my tibia which I found out 3 weeks later and paid the price for that buy dr gosalia and chamalia make this guy look like the head surgeon at Mt Sinai. It was just awful. She also broke privacy rights and sent multiple letters full of blatant lies. Seriously don't go here. read more

Horrible customer service. I called my insurance and my doctor before coming in for urgent care prior to arriving. When I arrived I had to sit and wait 15 mins while the receptionist called my Dr to see if they have any availability same day even though I had already called and told her than. Then she told me my Dr. Group did have urgent care but I had to drive 20 miles because they wouldn't see. They said I had to seek these means before they could treat me. I would not recommend them for urgent care even though they advertise it, and say they take insurance. read more

I tried to find out how much it would cost to see a doctor for a routine test. We don't have insurance and I need to know what to expect. The initial contact had no idea beyond the $100 deposit at the time of the visit. (It the visit is less than $100, the excess is refunded.) He transferred me to the billing department. The estimated cost would actually be between $100 & $300, depending on if a physical was involved. Since she's "not the doctor," she couldn't give an actual estimate. Excuse me but a range of $200 is unacceptable. If I had insurance, it wouldn't matter but they should be sensitive to the FACT that people can't afford healthcare and they should at least let them know what they are going to be charged. The attitude was horrible with this rep! I will never go there. read more

I've been going to Graybill Medical/Dr.Linden Burzell for over a year & have to say I love my doctor& his right hand woman, Linda! I require a lot of "hand holding",encouragement to go to the hospital at certain times, follow up, prescription refills, paperwork to be completed, etc! I have a lot of faith in my doc& his nurse& that can be very comforting! They are also very good at working me into the daily schedule if required. Fraudulant and deceptive practice! We had insurance with copay... They charged $210 cash for 2 stitches, a tetanus shot, some ointment and removal a few days later. Bad enough. Then we get a notice from our insurance... they charged them $500+. A couple weeks later they send us another bill for $320. Over a $1000 for 2 stitches from an urgent care? Stay away! read more

I was in a car crash, and had signs of a concussion. I started by calling my insurance company to verify I could go to them as an urgent care. The lady at the desk told me they were refusing me care, because they couldn't verify my insurance. This seemed odd as I had just called them, so I called my insurance and had them talk to the lady for verification. The lady at the front desk still refused to see me. I offered to pay upfront, but was still refused care as I really didn't want to get in a car again. We asked to talk to a manager and they all dissappeared. I ended up having to leave and go to the ER to get treatment. My advice is if you actually want someone to treat you, don't waste your time and go here. read more

They were double billing my insurance for my children's pedi visits and my own. I called and questioned this and they said this was allowed... I am also in the medical field and know this as fraud.. I didn't have time to pursue it any further. I can't really say much because it would reveal private medical info.. but generally the office is not very nice physically, doctors are nice and friendly but clinical expertise is hit or miss, long waits for appointments, very limited referrals for specialists.. really just don't like this system. read more

This ofc is a poor excuse for care. I'm a nurse for 7 Internists so I know how a practice should run. After waiting over an hour Dr Nupur Gosalia comes in & spends exactly 12 mins for a well woman exam & physical. I didn't get any physical whatsoever and as far as a well woman exam it was 2 seconds long & my results came back incomplete, so she has to repeat them. That's because a pap was not done in the first place, you actually have to scrape the cervix for it to be a pap smear. I get a bill a week later for 2 visits, I call the office & inquire about the charges & the lady states I had a physical visit charge & another separate visit charge for a rash!! I never had any rash. $509.00 bill for exams & a visit I didn't have. Fraudulent charges are a big concern to me. I'm going to report them on monday. Stay clear of this place, it's ran like a free clinic, your treated like another dollar in their pocket, they have no genuine concern for your health. The M.A.'s have no knowledge of what their doing. Makes all of us in the healthcare field look bad. They don't even deserve the 1 star. I'm going to see what advice my lawyer can give me on this one. No insurance company should be paying for fraudulent charges. read more
