This dentist is 2 minutes from my house, so I decided to give it a try. I've always been skeptical of going to the dentist ever since I had a bad experience with a root canal at a previous dentist. It was over a year since I was at a dentist when I went to see Dr. Oleg Simkovic and I had a cleaning and was having an issue with my previous root canal and needed a filling fixed. The cleaning was horrible, partially my fault since I didn't go to a dentist for so long, but the hygienist was still nice enough. When Dr. Oleg came in, he apologized for making me wait so long and that was about it. No introduction, no conversation (being a new patient)...nothing. He started cleaning my teeth, told me how bad my gums were and could clearly tell I was in pain and just told me to relax (not in a kind, soothing way either). He went on to tell me more things that were wrong with my mouth, which I later found out were false when I went to see a specialist. This was overall the worst experience I had at a dentist. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. I went home in so much pain and my mouth was throbbing for hours.

I have what I'd call "dental anxiety" and they're very understanding and compassionate here. Normally I can't have anything more than an x-ray done without being knocked out with IV sedation, but they actually pulled a wisdom for me on my first ever visit here when I was in a lot of pain. I was surprised they would help so quickly and I got a blunt response... "your in pain, we dont leave people in pain" you've gotta respect that. They have some sedation options but aren't set up for IV sedation so keep that in mind. I got through it pain free with just a shot to numb it, I'm not normally so lucky, which speaks to the skill of the dentists here. They offer good referrals that suit my specific needs and they are knowledgeable about different options for treatment. They also take most insurance plans and can work with you to find a payment plan that works for you. As someone who's had work done here as well as used them as a middle man for various specialists I'd say they are worth checking out. I'm glad to have them nearby for emergencies.
