Second visit was just ho-hum after expectations were high from our first experience. Appetizer: Fried calamari served with marinara sauce. There are a number of creative options for dipping sauces and the marinara just was okay. No special chef effort was apparent to us. Likely the pasta marinara from the Italian menu now also offered at this restaurant. Could do a lot better. Crab soup: Arrived cold and had to request it be heated. This is the most egregious part of the evening from a restaurant that is charging multi-star pricing. Caution - the soup also had a few bits of the crab's shells. Crabe cakes: A bit too salty for my palette and the remoulade, though advertised as "made in house", was unimpressive. Ambiance: Very nice. We hope these comments inspire the restaurant to do better and are helpful when others are ordering. I suggest others try it to form their own opinions with these comments in mind. read more

Every food item that I have had has been fresh, authentic, and not overly seasoned. I enjoy how the server is very excited to share information about how different dishes are prepared. Wow! Out of all the fancy restaurants/steakhouses I have been to- Grayson's had the BEST steak I have ever had at a restaurant. The oysters were phenomenal and so was the Sea Bass. Please save room for dessert and get the Hazelnut Crème brûlée. Oh my god that was the best dessert I have ever had. Also, the staff was incredibly nice. The host (I forget his name but he was an older gentleman) was incredibly nice. He sat every table with a warm greeting and took his time. Jessica, our waitress, was THE BEST. We had such a great time with her. We were laughing up a storm with her. It's very nice inside. I will say, it's very cold so just keep that in mind. I got warmed up after a few wines. First and last time...stood in front of host for 5-7 minutes without any acknowledgment. Very rude to everyone e who came in with a reservation. Took forever to be waited on once seated 15 minutes after the reservation time, no apologies. Ordered steak medium and received it well done. Highly recommend! Our first time dining at Graysons, and we had a great time. The food was awesome! We had the pork belly appetizer, which was great. My husband had the ribeye and blue cheese wedge and really enjoyed them. I had the filet Oscar at the recommendation of our server, Brittany (who was great!), and the wild mushroom risotto. Both items were so awesome. The steak was cooked perfectly, the crab was yummy, and the asparagus and hollandaise were terrific. We left room for dessert and had the drunk monk cake, and it was delicious. Service was very good and welcoming, everything came out timely and in perfect shape. We walked in on a Friday evening no reservation due to I found this restaurant on Google last minute and I'm glad I did! The ambience was great the host was super friendly the waitress was amazing (forgot her name) especially as we walked in we got those "side eye" looks from other patrons like we walked into the wrong place but that was far from the case with the staff. Now let's get to this food! THIS WAS THE BEST RIBEYE I'VE EVER HAD IN GEORGIA POINT.BLANK.PERIOD! Read that last line again please. It was cooked perfectly it melted like butter was seasoned to perfection I just can't describe how surprised and satisfied I was with that steak and it was outrageously expensive. As a local we have eaten at Graysons twice and the food was excellent. However on our last visit on October 31 2025 our server was also the bartender which because of her double duty led to poor service while the other tables were waited on graciously. Before I launch myself into this steak and seafood sermon, of sorts, the first thing you need to know is you need to dress properly, when you roll up on Graysons. This is not your casual happy meal McDonald's shorts wearing situation or a Burger King, dress any kind of way establishment and definitely not a look at me, I'm in my pajamas perusing Walmart kind of restaurant. Plan accordingly. Every so often, I hop in the car with my friend, and we drive or fly to a new city, looking for interesting culinary adventures and experiences. I'd heard about Newnan, GA but I had zero knowledge of its social scene and restaurants. A friend who moved there a few years ago recommended it to me as a place to meet up or to have brunch. My friend and I didn't make the brunch cut off, but we did make it there. We were dressed pretty casually, so we opted to sit at the bar, instead of looking like the hillbilly brothers arriving at the Ivy restaurant in LA. The staff was amazingly attentive and nice and so were the two gin and tonics, we ordered. My friend ordered the filet mignon with a baked potato, and I choose the wild mushroom risotto and asparagus. Most of you already know that a risotto can go sideways quickly but this was one of the best risottos I've eaten in a very long time. The consistency of the rice, the mushrooms and mushroom sauce were both perfect. The grilled asparagus was seasoned just right and yes Lawd!, it was tasty. My friend's medium rare filet mignon disappeared before I could a picture so no review necessary, he apparently loved lit. We didn't venture pass the bar so I can't say what the rest of the restaurant looked like but if I had to take a stab in the dark at the vibe of this upscale establishment, I'd say it probably the swankiest restaurant in Newnan, GA. I highly recommended it, if you're around the Newnan area and looking for good food or to impress that special someone in your life. However, before you roll up or make those reservations, count your coins because this ain't no fast-food joint. $$$$ read more

Let me just tell you! If you are in the Peachtree City Newnan area and you don't want to eat at a chain steakhouse and don't want to drive into the city come to Newnan! This place is the best kept white table cloth steakhouse experience on the very very south side!! OMG! Everyone who works at this establishment is super nice and friendly! My server was John H and he was awesome! I had the oysters rockefeller for my appetizer and I don't know where they source that bacon that topped my chargrilled oyster, but the smoky flavor was EVERYTHING! The bread- hot, fresh, fragrant, and everything you want dinner bread to be! Crisp crust and soft on the inside - you will not be able to refrain yourself from devouring it! It reminded me of the baguettes I ate during my time in Europe. They have some impressive cuts of steak fired up to your taste but I had the almighty 14 oz Ribeye with caramelized onions and balsamic glaze. Perfectly cooked medium steak with a perfect outer char and juicy and disrespectfully delish!!! Can't wait to go back! Dessert did not disappoint! I had the cheesecake with very berry compote it looks small , but don't let that deceive you it is sooooo good you may pass out from sheer goodness! . This is a proper steakhouse bring your coins- the meal will not be cheap, but you will enjoy! Summary; A very nice restaurant, but the ambiance does not match the caliber of food. The food overall I think makes this one of the best premium restaurants in the area. Story; We got the cucumber salmon appetizer, it was inventive and good but I can't highly recommend. We also had the lobster bisque which was also good but not the best. I had the crab cakes, which were outstanding but for 60 bucks they should be. My wife had the duck, that was very good and much more reasonable. The service was very attentive. The bar area is well done but the dining area is bright fluorescent lighting with single row bench seating in some areas, not many private booths or tables. First of all, the owner is the worst person to ever be a owner. The owner, Len, had the worst attitude worth of serving. The servers made the atmosphere feel like the job didn't matter. I'm not sure how long this place has been open - my impression was that it may be the next restaurant iteration from those responsible for Mama Lucia's (which is now closed, apparently). I happened to do a search and just came across it, but it may have been there for ~ a year already... (?) We opted to try it out on a Friday in June. It is located a bit north of the main mall-esque dining and entertainment area of Newnan (Ashley Park). The restaurant is nestled between somewhat more industrial businesses. They have their own parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table. Our server was friendly without being intrusive. The menu had an array of choices and their bar menu was similarly broad. We got steaks and salads. We both enjoyed our entrees. I think we split a dessert as well, which was good. Ther service was exceptional. Sha'kyra (Guessing on spelling since they don't have name tags) made our meal even more enjoyable as server. We got Meet Me In the Garden cocktails which were stellar. The pork belly for appetizer and two steaks (Ribeye and filet), mac and cheese, and carrots all of which were super yummy. The blackberry gelato for dessert which wasn't my favorite but my boyfriend liked it! The only sad part was that they were out of the beurre blanc sauce so I went with garlic aioli for the steak which was still great. What an enjoyable evening celebrating our 50th Wedding anniversary! The food was delicious, filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Everyone was pleased with their meal but a couple wanted their steak medium rare and it wasn't but they said flavor was good. Joel checked in several times to make sure all was well. Truth be known we probably would have gone back again whether they did this or not because it's one of the best restaurants in the area. We love their service, dishes and atmosphere. Coming from the Las Vegas area where we had the best of restaurants at our service, we have to admit that Grayson's is up there with the rest of them.
