My wife and I love the new location..We think the food is beater than it was in Senoia! Great service and a great vibe.

Great new restaurant in Newnan. We were the 1st customer on the 1st soft opening night. Excellent food, great service. Definitely recommend!

After having a favorable experience at the Curious Cantina in Peachtree City, I decided to try the Curious Kitchen in Newnan. It was a a partial success. Phillip was our server and was attentive and answered all of our questions with accuracy and efficiency. One major thing open for improvement was the old fashion I ordered pre-dinner. I ordered Buffalo Trace which is an acceptable sipping bourbon but it didn't have any decernable orange or cherry influence. No luxardo cherry juice or cherry or piece of orange. Just a dry orange peel and water! They could have tried harder. I did order a second one and asked for a cherry. Maraschino is not the same as a Luxardo. Oh well. We had the Beef Tallow Truffel Fries-yum! What a great side. I was not afraid to order these since they consistently get rave reviews. We also ordered Fig and Brie crostini...also yum! Then a Cesar salad which was spilt for two and very tasty. Out came our main entrees. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich and I ordered the Butter Basted Halibut with Pea Purée and a fabulous succotash concoction that stole the show. The halibut was tasteless, unfortunately and I was so looking forward to it. You don't find halibut on most menus. I salted it, peppered it and put a pat of butter on it. Wow. AND the size of the fillet should have embarrassed them, but it didn't. What can you say? My daughter's choice was delightful and she could only eat half. So mixed review on the entrees. I'm surprising myself and will try them again because most of the food was very well done and the service was great.

We sat outside on the patio. It was lovely. Our waiter was very attentive and all four of our meals were delicious and perfectly prepared.

We were traveling nearby on a recent Saturday and opted to stop in at around noon. There is street parking as well as a large public lot across the street. This space was previously a small Thai restaurant (and I'm sure it had multiple incarnations before that). From what I recall, the layout in the Thai restaurant seemed smaller. They appear to have opened up space so that the dining area is deeper now. There is a dining area up front with a few tables; this area has more natural light from windows. The dining area continues along one wall adjacent to the kitchen, and it is a bit darker there. The overall vibe is 'artsy', with art displayed on the wall (some for sale), creative names for menu items, etc. The shop would fit right in to a small college town. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We got seated right away and were able to find items we wanted. The menu is not extensive, but it has a decent spread of items that should satisfy most people. I quite liked my BLT and the accompanying chips. The size was right and the bacon was well crisped. They also didn't try too hard with some odd bread or whatever. I like a place that just makes a straight-ahead BLT without trying to make it needlessly 'classy'. My wife liked her chicken salad sandwich okay. The side salad she got was good. Prices were reasonable. They seemed to have an adjoining property called Lune which may be their dinner incarnation. It seems like both restaurants are related and the menu implied that they did serve dinner, but maybe just at Lune (?). FWIW. I would consider returning here for another meal.

I know that several years ago there *was* another Mexican place in the same plaza, but it morphed into an Italian and later an Asian place, so maybe that was the point where this one started (?). There is plenty of parking in the plaza and a side-lot mostly dedicated to this restaurant. We came here for a dinner on a Monday as we had errands to run in Newnan. Somewhat surprisingly, it was quite crowded. There was no wait, but it was mostly full the whole time we were there. With the crowds come noise - if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the venue for you. I don't know if this was normal, but they also had a couple of separate birthdays being celebrated. Both involved a large sparkler-type thing and one involved the staff singing. I'm not complaining, just trying to describe the vibe. And, they have a robot that delivers some of the food. It seemed to have difficulty with navigating some of the aisles, so they may need to give up on it or reconfigure the seating. The menu was a departure from a standard Tex-Mex format. You could choose different meats for your tacos, etc. They had a variety of burritos and enchiladas. They also did offer a small set of combo meals - 2 tacos, rice, and beans. You could still choose alternate tacos for them. I went with that, while my wife opted for a 3-taco platter. We both liked the food and it tasted fresh. Prices seemed a bit higher than other Mexican places. I noticed that wine was $10 per glass also. You can definitely get a quality meal here, but for us it would be a longer drive to pay more for a similar meal that we could have in a quieter venue closer to home. I don't think I'll become a regular here, but it's fine depending on what you're looking for.
