I found tang yi spa price was very reasonable it was 50 dollars for 60 minutes and 80 dollars for 90 minutes. They do walk in. My boyfriend brought me there he only lives like 10 minutes away the lady took me right back to a room the room seemed to be clean. The lady came in and started to do my massage. I have chronic pain so I have been to many many different massage therapists in over 8 years. Was it my best no but was it my worst no not even close. Room for improvement always!!! The only thing I was not a fan of I had about 15 20 minutes left from a 90 minute and she left and had another woman finish but she did well to was it professional not really but different culture which I understand. Bottom line you get what you want to pay for I left there feeling a lot better then when I went in!!

Im not cheap and have no problem tipping for good service but I don't like being told how much I am to tip especially before i received my massage. So about 10 mins in I asked if i could go ahead and do an hour. The lady who was giving me my massage said i would have to pay $50 plus another tip for an hour even tho i already paid the $40 plus $10 tip. I should've only been made to pay another $10 and if I felt it was deserved given additional tip. Another lady came in and they seemed to be arguing and the lady taking care of me basically didn't want to and for the rest of my "30" mins was uncomfortable. However, when I entered the massage studio I knew I would have a great experience. The reception area is small but inviting and the receptionist was friendly but not overbearing. The massage therapist (Hope) took the time to ask me what my concerns and pains were and based her massage on those areas and concerns. It was refreshing to have a personalized experience rather than a standard massage. I called to see if I could get a massage on a Saturday afternoon. Oh, it was Saturday and late in the afternoon. So no luck. But Christina called me back later that day and offered to open her shop on Sunday, before I headed back to Ohio. The massage center is very nicely remodeled. I learned that Christina and her husband, who came along to inspect some construction, are remodeling the 1st floor to provide yoga. The massage was excellent. Christina was able to locate and isolate those muscles on my back that were causing my neck and shoulder issues and work them to release their stiffness. I'm getting older and starting to feel all those younger year rugby and running injuries. Christina really did a great job and I felt great afterwards. I highly recommend Christina if you need massage therapy for any of your sport injuries, or everyday aches and pains. I will definitely be heading back when I am in the area to include Christina's massage therapy in my get healthy regimen.

They were both extremely kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout my visit. The spa itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. I really loved that it isn't a typical spa office setting. It's located in an older Victorian-style home in Shadyside, which gives it a unique and cozy feel that adds to the overall experience. Even the front desk staff (I believe her name was Laura) was so welcoming and friendly. Everyone I interacted with made me feel right at home.
