At last I've found an oil place that values their customers! I had an oil change this morning and was very pleased with the service compared to places like Jiffy Lube. I really can't stand Jiffy Lube! The waiting room at Grease Monkey is the best I've every seen. Play area for kids. The regular popcorn but in addition to that, fountain coke products! No oil change place on earth has ever offered this! The man who came and showed me my air filter was not pushy at all. I also love that every customer gets a free car wash. Great idea! Despite the fact that this is about a 10-15 min drive for me, it's well worth it! read more

Fastest oil change ever! I always plan on an hour or so for oil changes and I was done in under half an hour! They also found a worn out part during an oil change that was causing a leak. We had a leak on our vehicle and we bring our vehicles to Grease Monkey for our oil changes. We called on a Saturday evening to see if we could stop by and have it checked. The manager Ryan answered the phone and said to go ahead and bring it in. We realized later that they were closed for the day, but they let us come anyway. He not only corrected the issue at no charge but gave us a free wash to clean off the oil on the undercarriage! been going here for almost 3 years now. been screwed over for oil changes by almost $40-50 every time i've gone. finally confronted them today after i asked for a basic oil change and was charged $100. I told em is was bs and they wouldn't give me credit back. called the manager and was hung up on. total bull crap. read more

My Honda had a service engine light on so I called A local dealership (Stockton Honda) for help. The dealer said it would take 1 1/2 hours for an oil change and wanted over $100 just to plug the car in and tell me what code was. I went to Grease Monkey, they told me the code and changed my oil in about 10 minutes for less than $30. Even tho' they knew what Honda told me they didn't charge me anything to look at the code. read more

These guys are amazing! They never try to nickel and dime me and their prices are lower than jiffy lube. Every oil change comes with a free car wash which is right next door, and free drinks and popcorn while you wait! They are always efficient with their services and even give ladies a flower (or pumpkin around Halloween time, for example) on the way out the door! I'm pretty sure they give male customers something as well but I'm not sure what it is. I receive the same stellar service every time I go in and know several other people that are just as happy with their services as I am. I can honestly say that I've had tge best experiences with them across any industry and will never go anywhere else. read more

I use to go to Walmart for my oil changes or the dealer never again. I'll always from now on be coming back to Grease Monkey. I called in ahead of time to see what the wait was he let me know he had some bays open and would take 20 min tops. They also have coupons regularly so I used $10 off for the oil change which they still honored. Walking the guy seemed very eager to help like he actually liked his job he was very friendly and helpful. They have free soda while you wait free roses if you're into that. They were very quick took less then 20 min they checked everything told me what was good and what they recommend to change but didn't pressure me into doing it right away. Got a free car wash and was on my way no hassle! Highly recommend. read more

Went in for a safety and emissions inspection on a Friday and it went very smoothly. The staff was friendly and the car was in and out relatively quickly. Even received a free car wash and a discount after inquiring beforehand. Will definitely return. read more

This is the best place to get an oil change if you have to drag little kids along with you. There is a kids' play area + free popcorn + free drinks. Happy kids = Happy mom. Prices seem a bit high, but they do have coupons. read more

Very happy with these guys. I'll sometimes get worried when I send my wife to a shop to change the oil, fearing she'll be hassled or pressured into all the extra services they provide, or that they will try to up-sale her on a different type of oil. I'm always specific about what needs to be done, and she'll usually call me to talk to me if they feel a certain service should be completed. Not once have they argued with her or pressured her if she has declined any extra service. Once they quoted me a price for a radiator drain/flush/fill. When I went to pay the price changed and was higher. I told them what I was quoted, and they realized they made a mistake, but they still honored it. They also washed the car for me that day (usually they give you a code for a free wash). Free popcorn and drinks for the kids. Free carwash with your service. Always great customer service. I visited this neighborhood Grease Money location this afternoon, knowing that I needed an oil change, but also believing I needed a recharge on my AC. The attendant advised me about price options on oil changes, and there was no pressure - just informed advice. While I was waiting, the staff called me in to show me that my AC was just fine (I neglected to recirculate the interior air-which was probably why it wasn't blowing cool). They could have simply performed the service instead of performing due diligence diagnostics. I was overwhelmed by the courtesy, honesty, and efficiency of service. Unfortunately they made a very basic mistake that is not okay! This business is close to my home and I use the Gorilla Car Wash that is part of it. I took my nearly new Mazda in for an oil change (the first bit of service I have had NOT at the dealership). Things seemed fine, but fast forward about 6 weeks later. It just so happened that my daughter who parks next to me in the garage was gone for an extended period of time so I parked in the middle of the garage for a change. Upon leaving a little later on I noticed a big oil spot on the garage floor where I usually park. I was super surprised as I said my car is only about 1 1/2 years old and only has about 14,000 miles. I was very worried why I was leaking oil and told my husband. We figured something must be very wrong and since we car is under warranty I should take it to the dealership to get it checked. I called and scheduled an appointment with the dealership and had to leave work about 3 hours early for the appointment. The technician at the dealership came out after inspecting my car and told me that whoever had changed my oil previously had not tightened the oil filter correctly and had not changed the drain plug gasket so that oil had leaked all down the filter and into my engine. He had to replace the filter and install the drain plug gasket and cleaned the oil up from the engine as best he could, plus had to add a quart of oil as I lost that much. I was so angry that because of obviously careless work on the behalf of Grease Monkey I not only now had an ugly oil stain in my garage but had to take time off work to go to the dealership to get the job done right. (At an additional cost to me of course.) I have now spoken to the manager of Grease Monkey and he said I should have brought my car back into them so they could correct their mistake for free. I told him I only came in to let him know of his workers' mistake and that even though it would be much more inconvenient I would only be going to the dealership for any services going forward. I have no confidence in a shop that made such a simple, silly mistake. read more

I was SO impressed!!! My first time at Grease Monkey they did exactly what I came in for with no pressure to get any other service or product! Their waiting area was not only clean, but had free popcorn and soda while you wait! The service guys were all very helpful and courteous! Not only did they leave my car clean with no greasy paper liners left on the floor of my car, they left a flower on my dashboard!!! I am DEFINITELY going back!!! read more

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago to get my oil changed. They were very friendly when they greeted me and their service was fast. They also filled my tires with more air and filled my washer fluid for no extra charge. The assistant manager who checked me out gave a flower and a free car wash next store. Definitely will. E back. We've come to this location before for service and they have always been great! Today, I was out shopping and I had a gentleman follow me and tell me that my tire looked flat. This location was right by the shopping center so I headed over to see if they could help me. I asked how much they charge and was told that they could fill the tire for no charge. He then checked all 4 tires and inspected them for me! I was completely impressed and will only go here for service from now on. read more

I went to get an oil change for my wife's car this afternoon. It took them over an hour with only one car ahead of mine (oil change as well). When I mentioned that I was bugged about the time it took, the man working the front counter tells me to calm down because things like this happen. Now I was even more irritated. I guess a customer isn't allowed to be irritated here. He then gets the manager Ryan to come in. He questioned me on the fact that it took an hour, so I pulled up my text to my wife that I sent showing the time I had sat down after arriving and it was an hour earlier. He said he was sorry and was going to give me the "family" discount. He then proceeded to charge me $124 minus the family discount bringing my oil change to $77. After the shock of the price wore off, I then advised that all I came in for was an oil change. He then realized he had pulled up someone else's order and proceeded to change the amount. Then I go to put my card in to pay for my service and he refused to let me pay. I told him though I was irritated, I had every intention to pay for my service. He said he wouldn't let me. That made me more irritated, because, being in business, I know how important it is to all of us to pay for the services rendered. It is what makes this economy run. Ugh... I don't think I will be going back after that whole situation. read more

I have used the grease monkeys on Redwood Road and 106 south for a number of years. They always provided quick and convenient service that I was happy with. I was happy when I saw that they were putting in a location closer to my home and at the end of last year I went in to have my car inspected. The day before getting my car inspected I filled up with gas there was no problem with my fuel door at this time. The next day I have the inspection I noticed when I walked out of the store and they were giving me my keys that in the Fuel door with a looked a little strange. I didn't think much of it thinking that they must've not closed properly when they were inspecting the fuel cap. When I got home I looked closer and discovered the fuel door had been broken. It appears as though they had left it open and one of the employees walking by snapped the hinge. The next morning I called and asked for the manager and explained that I thought they may have broken my fuel door. I asked him to look into it. A few hours later he called me back and said that he couldn't see anything from Angles he had on his cameras but that he would talk with the employee that inspection my car and then call me back. He never got a hold of me. Luckily I found a replacement fuel door on eBay for $35 installed it myself. It's unfortunate that over such a small dollar amount they lost my business. I would recommend going to the Redwood location. read more
