Back decades later to patron the full nude entertainment bar! I left the state at age 19 desiring ALWAYS to know what lay inside. I wasn't disappointed! The layout was amazing, large, quality and inviting. There was always a dancer on stage (a huge plus). I was approached twice by beautiful ladies scantily dressed for private dances. The bartenders were very accommodating as well the security staff (of which there was plenty). I came on a weekday in which a dozen or so miners were visiting on their break, so the crowd was likely larger than usual, or perhaps this is common, IDK. Regardless the more the merrier and they had cash making the visuals more exciting than otherwise. A key weekday feature was there wasn't a cover charge. What many may be unaware of is its popularity would create a location in Phoenix Arizona (which I didn't visit during my time in the valley of the sun). The original in AK and its counter point in AZ. I will say I received my Fill from this AK first. Unlikely that I will visit another strip club for some time to come, I was very satisfied with the GABC and would recommend it to anyone visiting Anchorage Alaska as a key destination. My comparisons would be limited to 3 strip clubs in the Scottsdale, AZ and 1 additional AK establishment I will provide a review for this same evening that had after hours later than this. SUCH A GREAT TIME!!! I don't know why there are one star reviews. First and foremost the hospitality in this building was the best I have experienced in Alaska....period. Everyone was attentive, courteous, thankful and welcoming. As a woman, places like this can be intimidating, but I never felt misplaced, judged or awkward, which I have definitely felt before at other establishments. So for that alone I applaud them. Let's address the "pole" situation. So yes there is no FIXED pole on the main stage, BUT I personally watched the "executive stripper assistant" attach a pole to the ceiling and it WAS NOT FIXED TO THE GROUND . Yes read that again. Then a woman named Devon blew my mind by performing on this suspended pole. WOW is all I have to say, get a front row seat. So the pole situation has changed. Let's talk about the ladies and drinks. There is a lot of chat on here about "small" "teenager" "fat black" etc. STOP. Just STOP. There literally is someone here for everyone. Diversity was absolutely present. As far as full frontal nudity that is a solid yes and I guess some of the girls feel frisky on stage, if you know what I'm saying. The group (4 people) I was with ordered a round of drinks and it was less than $50 bucks. Where I come from, that is a bargain. Lap dances. Here is the only downside in my opinion. There is no private area, so when I ordered a lap dance it was out in the open for all to see, but it didn't really bother me much because I was being entertained Seriously, I personally feel these reviews are too harsh on this establishment. Honestly this place was awesome. Kinda a strip club, kinda a of a cirque show. Super cool venue. The girls were nice and excellent performers, and I do mean performers. They don't just strip down. I can see where more private strip club goers may have a gripe but I'll sacrifice the private no touch lap dances for the skill and performances these girls give. The show we saw was absolutely beautiful and I'd say that even if they weren't naked haha. Had a great time. I would visit again and again. O and Sedona was awesome. He stated it is run by the Hells Angels but there is nothing he can do-why? Because I can only assume the APD is on the Hells Angels payroll-naturally. Why was I talking to him? Because I was extorted, coerced, threatened with physical bodily harm by their staff after I did not pay KRUNTT fees that were NEVER agreed to by me their alleged "independent" dancers who never disclosed their fees or anything else and attempted to steal my wallet. What I saw at the Bush Company shocked me. I wasn't expecting full frontal nudity and booze. Where I come from, it's illegal for liquor to be served if the girls are complete naked. And the girls at the Bush Company finish their "dance" as naked as they day they were born. This I was not expecting. I went here for the first time, after reading the Anchorage Press article on the interesting history of the GABC. I have also been to my fair share of clubs in Portland, Oregon. By those standards, this strip club is clean, safe, and has a lot higher standards than most folks may realize. I actually prefer that there is no pole on the stage. For those on the fence of going (which are probably mostly female), don't go here 'ironically'. Don't go here to just sit and watch. The thing that makes this club different is that you actively participate and indulge in your own preferences, because guess what? No one else cares. There are dancers here for everyone's taste. And not once was I harassed, felt objectified, or felt that I was being ignored by the bar staff. Best strip club in Anchorage by far. Decent layout with booths and tables surrounding a central stage. Can get crazy late, so get there early to get a decent view. Lots of guys, couples, even some bachelorette parties, friendly for anyone and everyone. Drinks and lap dance prices are on par with most clubs, no cover, can get rowdy but never out of control. Mixed review...four of us went. $50 a round for drinks. Yeah, $50! Waitress was really nice though. The dancers were cute. One that I thought was cute enough to tip on the stage seemed very unhappy though to be there. Shortly after our next round of drinks, we have the waitress a $20. She claimed she got a $10. We didn't argue with her. After a trip to the bathroom, I let her know at the bar that we really had gave her a $20. She immediately got defensive asking if I was accusing her of stealing. I've been to GABC many times and usually have a great experience. But, I went a few days ago and was having a great time with one of the girls when Dazzell rudely interrupted. She was very mean to the girl I was talking with and bullied her to the point that she left. I no longer live in Alaska but certainly remember. My very good friend was the architect of and enjoyed designing TGABC. He got to interview the girls as to their preferences.....architectural preferences. In the 80s, Alaska was still "Wild West" and TGABC became a major part of the local color. Best strip club in anchorage I think. The majority of the dancers are attractive. The place is always packed. A friend and I went there and had a blast. There's not much privacy for lap dances. Whatever lap dance your paying for, everyone else gets to watch around you. The dancers don't have poles to dance on, it's all on a stage. My cousin and I (both in our fifty's) took a trip up to Alaska to do some fishing in August of 2021. There is a good reason why ABC has such international acclaim and still remains a local hot spot: talented and beautiful women! Natasha was simply the most incredible and radiant girl there. I feel like I'm giving away way too much of a good thing by mentioning her, but this girl was amazing and treated all of my guys very well with rounds of dances and a beautiful smile. The drinks are regularly priced too, and the atmosphere was great, not sleazy. You can tell the bar and security are working hard to keep your glass full and the weirdos out.
