Cookies that we purchased were good flavor, ice cream was delicious. Ice cream cookie was underwhelmed with one small tiny scoop. Had hope for minimally 2 for the price we paid. This location was disorganized and needs more help. I asked for white macadamia nut which appeared sold out but asked if some were available on shelf. Was told no, moved on to other options. As I was walking out, I glanced and saw 4 full trays. Sadly didn't catch that. Overall I felt that with a little more help and training this could be resolved. read more

Management is horrible.I Went in around 4pm looking for their pecan chewy cookie. And lady with black shirt who appeared to be management or owner told me they don't have the cookie available.That once it runs out because the cookie only last 4hours they don't make it again! With this be one of their staple cookies, I don't understand why they wouldn't have the cookie available, especially when they are still open for another five hours, so instead of buying six cookies I only bought two never coming again! We so very excited to come here. It was s very cold night, so I imagine it hadn't been busy. We were the only customers in the place on 1/15/18 about 6:30. The unfriendly server was clearly disinterested in her customers, and was extremely lazy at her simple job off mixing ice cream. First, they had no cookie dough. So two of us choose a brownie instead.. which was AWFUL. The brownie was tan colored, dry and meally/ gritty and tasted nothing like a brownie. She mixed the toppings into the ice cream for about 5 seconds tops, so most of the mix ins were on one side of the lump of ice cream and quickly slopped into our bowl. The ice cream was super soft because it had no time to firm up on the frozen marble. The waffle bowls had an odd flavor and texture. None of us liked them. All three of us decided we wouldn't go back. read more

Went here last night for the first time. There were a few tables full of customers. There was a line of 5 or 6 in front of me and my husband, and only one employee- it was 8pm. Another employee showed up while we were in line, which did help. I ordered a medium cup with chocolate ice cream, one topping mixed in, another just on top. My husband ordered a shake. We spent nearly $14 on two items. That's absolutely upsurd. The other issue is that there is no menu giving the flavors or ice cream or the list of toppings. If you haven't been before then yhis can slow down the ordering process because you have no way of making up your mind before you can get to the ice cream case. Given the fact that we waiting about 20 mins in line makes me think they should have thorough menus to make things easier and more efficient. Overpriced for mediocre product. Will not be returning. My husband and I came in on a rare date night at 10 PM. The hours on the door and online state that they close at 11 PM. Cynthia was mopping and upon our walking through the door she turned around and walked into the back room. She then came back and did not say one word to us. She would not look us in the eye. She said "is that all?", "10.91" and "I'm clocking out" (to the young man who only came out of the back room as we left) the entire time we were there. It was the one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have had in a while. It appears as though this is not the first time this has happened and it's disappointing to see that management has done nothing to remedy the situation. This young lady needs a new job. Marble slab has great staff and a very diverse list of ice creams. Everything about it has a well put together establishment feel and is one of the best ice cream shops in this area. It's a nice place to visit for an event and solidifies ice cream as one of my favorite deserts! read more

DON'T GO TO THE WAXAHACHIE STORE!!! I placed an online order for a birthday cake tonight. About an hour after placing the order, a young man called and told me the design I requested was not able to be done on a round cookie. The online ordering system allows you to pick any shape cookie and add any design. He said they aren't freehanded, and I would have to pick another design. Ok- I picked a different design and gave him the colors for the icing. My daughters picked it up and when they got it home, it didn't have the M&M's I had paid for baked into it. So my husband called and was told "Your wife said she didn't want extra sugar in the cookie cake, so we didn't add the M&M's.". ????? What???? That sounded ridiculous, so I called the store and asked for the store manager and got "Patel". She wouldn't give me the rest of her name. I told her what had happened and the first she told me was that I didn't pay for M&M's, to which I replied- "I'm looking at the receipt, it includes M&M's." Then she told me that what I was looking at was the $5.00 design fee. ???? What??? I would also like to mention that she never even asked my name to make sure she had the correct customer's order in hand. And since when does this company charge you extra for any specific design? Much less a design I was told I couldn't get on a round cookie cake?? So they charged me for a design I couldn't get on top of M&M's I didn't get. I told her I would expect a refund for the "design fee" since I was told I couldn't get that design and the M&M's that weren't included. She then began to argue that the design I ended up with was $3 and the design I paid for was $5, so she would only be giving me the difference. Ok- you guys already messed up on my birthday cookie, and you want to split hairs over a couple of dollars?? Good customer service would have just given the $9 refund and apologized for the inconvenience, instead of arguing over the "design prices", or offered to remake the cookie cake, which was never even discussed! I've never heard of a "design fee" in the 20+ years I've been using this company. I've also never had such appalling customer service from a representative of this company as I had tonight from Patel. The company as a whole is a great company- but if you want to get a cookie cake and it be right and get great customer service- DON'T go to the WAXAHACHIE store!! PATEL cares NOTHING for the customers or decent customer service or apparently training her people to read and double check an order. Go to Mansfield of Cedar Hill- I've never experienced a problem from either store! read more

She was annoyed at us coming in and would only serve us ice cream, no mix Ins because she already had everything put away. I was shocked that 2 smalls and a medium cost $17. I asked if there was a discounted price since we couldn't get any mixins and she said no. I called about 16x the next day and could never get in touch with a manager. I contacted corporate and they fwded my message to this locations owner since they can't do anything about it.. But I still have not heard a word from the owner. I ordered the 6 in. Cookie Drizzle cake for a surprise birthday cake & was Very disappointed. The birthday cake ice cream had absolutely no flavor. The cake was suppose to have both oreo cookie pieces & cookie dough inside but this cake was mainly ice cream. It's like they just sprinkled a few pieces inside of the cake. When I call and spoke with the owner/manager he stated that they used the company's guidelines of 1 oz for each mix in & there was nothing he could do. This was my first & last time going here. This was the worst ice cream experience ever. Came out for ice cream with some friends and we all ordered ice cream. The ice cream wasn't good that we got. We all tried it to check it "Kind of messed with you gag reflexes" as one of my friends said. So we asked if we could change the flavor an she said "no." I thought the customer was always right. If there was less than 1 star I would give it! My family stops by from time to time. Ice cream is great but the employees are so rude and could care less that you're even there. I went to your location on Friday to order my son a cake for his 9th birthday. The girl at the counter told me she couldn't do an order for me because the owners are never there and have too many personal problems to make me a cake. She suggested I go to DQ.
