We understood that it was a reference photo only to be used as a guide and things will never come out the same. I Cannot describe how sad we were to come home and see the floors look nothing like what we had asked for. It was such a shock to see. As we tried to come to terms with what happened we kept looking around. The attention to detail and quality control were severely lacking. Long stretches of concrete were still exposed on this "finished floor." Bubbles had popped out causing small craters in the finish. Multiple sections of the floor had been missed during the top coat application leaving the floor with a different sheen and the epoxy unprotected. We immediately reached out to the owner to allow them to try and remedy the situation. We wanted to let them have a chance to fix this. After the "touch ups" were done to the areas missing epoxy we were told that to reapply top coat would be another 3 day process. Or we could have them apply a wax coat to the entire floor to even put the sheen. This is not what we paid for or asked for or were told we would receive. We were told during consultation that they would have all this industrial equipment that would help prevent concrete dust from covering our entire house. It seems this only involves a shop vac that was then emptied in my back yard and into the common area behind my back fence. Our house has a layer of concrete dust in every single room on every single surface. We are extremely disappointed with everything that happened and will have to find another company to undo this mess and do a new floor. We do not recommend using this business for any epoxy floor services.

We don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to ignore…read more We started working with Joey at Flooring Master after closing on our home on June 20th. Since we were relocating from out of state, we wanted the flooring done before we arrived. We even had our realtor leave a lockbox so measurements could be taken in advance. We finalized the details and paid the deposit on June 26th -- then communication completely dropped off. No updates. No responses to follow-ups. Nothing. My husband finally drove down to Florida on July 7th to figure out what was going on -- only to find that demo had just started, two weeks later. Worse, the wrong areas were demoed, including our kitchen, hallway, and bathroom, which delayed work on our daughter's room. That alone made this experience extremely stressful for our family. Installation didn't begin until July 14th, and our furniture (already delayed and sitting in storage) was scheduled to arrive the 18th. Flooring was incomplete, and we were told if we delayed furniture again, they couldn't guarantee a future delivery date. We ended up picking up additional materials ourselves on July 21st, just to keep things moving. I had to call again on the 23rd to find out when they'd finish. They finally came on July 26th to complete the last room. The crew was friendly and the floors look nice now, but we had to ask them to reinstall all the doors and finish the master bathroom. The lack of communication throughout this entire process was unacceptable. We still have more rooms to do, but we will not be using Flooring Master again. We can't recommend them to anyone.
