The process was fast and also not by a clever , experienced mechanic or owner. So we left with an unsure feeling , the trailer was all over the place , my wife called friends who were RVers and asked if this was normal . NO it was not. Go to Del Maestro they will help you. Long story short they found my hitch was set up totally wrong and the anti sway bar not installed and the weight distribution bars not connected the trailer hitch didn't even have a safety bolt installed. They corrected it all and gave us a reassuring slow walk around of safety items and pros and cons. Never will we go back to The other dealer ... they should be reprimanded . And as they don't need a licence , which is an absolute mistake by our government, no where can you find registered , licensed mechanics with a 4 year course with one year on job work. And payed as much if not more than Auto mechanics. THIS SHOULD BE MANDATORY BY OUR GOVERNMENT! I know there are mini courses to get a mini licence but far from a real mechanic !

Sold my trailer through Campkins. Was charged over $600 for an inspection. My trailer had extras like a brand new, in box solar panel, an extra 75 ft of electrical cable and a weight distribution hitch. All these items I believe were removed and kept by Campkins to resell later for even more profit than the $5500 they took to sell the trailer. Can't recommend this company

We ventured northward to a few provincial parks and can't say enough about the endless hiking trails and breathtaking vistas and memories being made as family. Upon returning home and addressing our issues with the owner Amy Verwey, I was thoroughly pleased with her professionalism in smoothing over any bumpy edges. Her communication was absolutely flawlessly and seamlessly executed and beyond fair and reasonable. She addressed our concerns, actioned them swiftly and promptly, and reflected on areas of service where training could be improved. I don't believe one can ask for more when it comes to customer service. In short, Amy exceeded our expectations and instilled tremendous confidence in Owasco as a place to rent and visit again when making a future RV purchase

I got a call from the police stating my trailer was recovered at a private address . I call to check on the trailer I was told, it's in the lot , I asked are you sure. My trailer was indeed stolen off their lot and they did not report it stolen this was the Tuesday and my trailer was apparently stolen Sunday morning. They were asked to pick up at the recovery site and refused. I had have to cover the cost to for the tow and storage so they can take the trailer back to their lot to continue repair. I was never told my trailer was stolen by them and now it is my fault because they have a sign that says they are not responsible for loss or damage. The trailer was left at an easy accessible point and someone was able to hook it up and drive away. Igor service manager insist I file an insurance claim. Negligence, incompetence and untrustworthy would be my three words for this company RUN as far as possible. There is no family action in the family run business which was the only reason I went with them .

We shopped for 3 days then decided to buy from Lazee Acres (the rep from Grand Design) is the one who sold it to us. To do the ppwk and final up the papers it was with one of the Owners Tom. We specifically asked not to have the one at the show as 10's of thousand of people went through and it was scratched and so on, so we ordered different color of couches and not being our 1st purchase we knew what to look for. Everyone knew that we wanted a knew one from the factory and needed it by the end of April begining of May as we were leaving for BC early May for the summer. They promised we would have it for then. So May 3rd they called and said our 5th wheel was in but needed to book an appointment to pick it up. We are a couple of hours from Orillia so we decided to leave the next morning to go see it (something was fishy) when we got their they said oh come back tomorrow morning as we have to take it out (if it had just arrived it should of been close) so we went back the next morning and they had opened it up for us, it was completely at the end of the yard, it been parked there since they brought it back from the show. As soon as we walked in we knew it was the one from the show as the couches were the same color and not what I ordered, also the same serial # (we had taken pictures) scratches all over. We walked back out and let them know...they knew that we knew. We directly called the rep at Grand Design and he said he would personally have it made immediately. It arrived beginning of July. So that being said they ruined our summer!!We are in our 60's so it is important for us. I will never go back at Lazee Acres, they are liars!! The only thing I regret is I should of taken my deposit back and ordered a new one from another dealer, our summer was ruined by then anyways. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LAZEE ACRES TO NO ONE !!! The ratio of new units they are putting out there versus the amount their Service Department can take on is ridiculous. The Service Manager is nothing but a condescending little prick! Tough guy behind the emails but zero balls to contact his customers back via phone when a call back is requested. I will never return to this Service Department nor purchase another product from them. They spend more time revamping their Service Department email replies to push you away and are more focused on replying to their online reviews. Priorities are waaaaay out to lunch. Since writing our intial review, about our positive experience buying, we have had multiple issues that have been not resolved/poorly resolved by Outdoor Travel. These are the most recent..... -Within a year, our flush "leaked" and flooded our trailer. This was the second time we used the flush to clean the black tank. They "fixed" it, only to find that it was still leaking when we tried to use it again. We just decided we weren't going to deal with it and have not used it since. No cost for them to "repair" it, but we recieved a $200 bill almost 7 months later, when they told us this was actually not covered. -seals on our slide out - again within a year, these starting falling off. We took it in (the same time as above) and they "fixed" it by putting staples in the seal. We were not happy with this fix, but I called Aspen and they said this was their recommendation. Again no cost at pick-up, but again we recieved a bill 7 months later, another $200 for staples. - back window was very hard to open - again within the year. We took it in (the same time as above) and they "fixed" it by bending it? It still sticks......Again no cost at pick-up, but again we recieved a bill 7 months later, another $100. So total for this bill, when we were told no cost at pick-up in May (we received 7 months later...even though we have been there a couple times since and they did not mention) was $600 and they put some staples in, pushed the window in, and fixed one fitting on the flush and now it leaks somewhere else...... Again, these are only some of the issues we have had......I would think twice about buying from Outdoor Travel.
