All of the stylist seem to be doing shampoos and color which all looked awesome, but if the volume at the bowl would have been quieter while I was in my chair, I would have been more relaxed. She is one of the senior stylist at Clipzone and is as knowledgeable and skillful as she is friendly. She explained herself every step of the way, and she even had an apprentice at her side that she was educating. Promise was also kind and jumped right into the process as well. I expected great things for my outcome. What I had witnessed on YouTube was nothing short of amazing. Lindsey and Promise did not disappoint me. Honestly, my hair had never looked better. It was smooth, beyond silky, and practically weightless. I couldn't believe the hair that was on my head actually belong to me! It was as if I had had a hair transplant. That was seven weeks ago and my hair still looks fabulous. In fact, my sister who has twice as much hair as me went and had the same treatment with the same two professionals at Clipzone. Then they tried to cancel my appointment saying there wouldn't be time to complete it after resetting the room. When I went to leave the esthetician seen that I was crying and ended up doing my appointment. When I went to leave the lady at the desk body shamed me and said from now on we will make sure to have tables for body types like you. Her responses were in monosyllables. I asked about pricing twice. Transparent pricing is important when clients are trying to budget and compare services, especially for larger appointments or events. The lack of clarity made the experience frustrating and ultimately discouraged me from booking. I expressed my frustration politely to Kathryn and instead of rectifying the issue Kathryn Brash then proceeded to block me.

I didn't want/need a special curly cut, just needed someone to cut off 8inches and diffuse my hair, and let me leave. I was so incredibly clear with what I wanted. I said, "my hair is curly and will shrink up. Do not cut more than this amount off." The lady said "do you want it at your collarbone? I said "no. I want it longer, I want it at least to here" and i pointed to more than 4in below my collarbone. I was very clear. The lady washed my hair, and pulled my hair behind me and started cutting. I couldn't see what she was doing but she was cutting WAY shorter than we had talked about. It's above my collarbone before even getting dried. I have had my fair share of bad haircuts, but this is by far the worst. As it dries, it looks like a triangle or something from the 70s. It seems the woman was confused in what I asked for, but I wish she either communicated that she wasn't comfortable cutting my hair or asked for clarification. She also decided to turn a large portion of my hair into what I would describe as "curtain bangs". Interesting choice, especially on my curly hair. I did not want a blowout, just asked for a brief diffuse with the blow dryers. She acted like she didn't know what she was doing with the diffuser. I was charged $100 before tip. The pricing is not transparent or clear at all. Stylist was very nice but even with good vibes, you have to listen to customers. I will not be returning to any of the kisskissbangbang locations, and I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear, seems like the stylist could use some help with spatial awareness after the black cape goes on, since where you point is not as visible when wearing the cape.

It looked nothing even remotely like the inspo photos. And then she proceeded to butcher my hair when I had basically wanted some shaping/cleaning up and then styled it like I was 70. And there was dye all over my hairline and on my ears when I left. I was in such shock I couldn't even say anything. I paid and left. Immediately, I went somewhere else and they fixed the cut as best as they could and cleaned the dye off. They wanted to know who did my hair but I couldn't bring myself to tell them. But, why am I trying to protect someone who did a bad job? I've had better cuts from Great Clips. And I can do a better job my self with coloring my hair. Do I recommend this place?
