Something is really wrong at this Great Clips location. Since acquisition by new owners on or about 11/1/2024 (and total change of staff at that time), every time I go in for a haircut, the stylist who cut my hair the month before is no longer employed here.Today I went there to inquire if last month's stylist was still working there, and the answer again was NO. I wonder what the new ownership group could do better to improve employee retention? read more

I've gone to this Great Clips location several times for family haircuts. During my recent visit, I checked in online - but forgot to make multiple appointments and only scheduled one. The stylists were very courteous and ensured that my family would all be able to jump the line together according to our single reservation! All of the stylists I've met here are very attentive to the needs of children, listen to your wants and ideas, and make great conversation while they're cutting your hair. Your understanding of a layered hair cut is astounding to me. From my understanding, results of a layered haircut is suppose to have a v-shape at the end of your hair. (I been have layered for 10+ years) Brought my daughter in to get her hair layered cut. She got at least 8-10inches off. I was not allowed to sit inside to wait for my minor child due to COVID restrictions. I went in to pay and notice my daughter's hair was not layered, or at least not the layering in my mind. Basically her hair was sectioned into to sections, too/ bottom. Bottom layer was maybe .5 inches longer the the top section and it was straight across, no v-shape. The person that cut her hair even missed a few strands. It was a choppy cut, choppy work! I would not recommend anyone going there. Unless your a toddler or a male! read more

I went to the Town and Country Great Clips and asked if I could get a haircut. There were 2 stylists present, one with a customer and the second one had no customers. There was noone in the salon...zero people. Yet, the stylist told me there was a 70 minute wait. I have used various Great Clips for many years and am well aware that people use online check-in but also if someone walks in and there is noone present and other customers have not shown yet for their signed in appointment, the walk-in is taken. Not here!!! What poor business practice. Obviously they do not care about returning customers. There is also a possibility that online check-ins dont show up so these stylists would rather lose business than take a person who is physically present. I wont be returning there. There are so many available salons who will take my business. read more

I asked for an undercut, with a simple triangle design in it. The design is attached below. I asked the hairdresser if she was confident that she could do it, and she replied yes. I mentioned that if she wasn't confident, she shouldn't do it, but she assured me. I don't blame her for this, I should have not gotten something that is sort of complicated (i guess) at a Great Clips. She gave my uneven lines that did not even look like triangles that aren't even centered. She was really nice, don't get me wrong, but my hair looks really busted and I'm embarrassed to wear it up. read more

I have been taking my son to great clips for almost six years to this great clips because it is only a mile from my house and because they have a very good nice stylist called Tatyana. However, today a I went along with my friend's toddler who started playing with his squishy football and three hair stylists started giving me the looks and telling me to stop the child from throwing the ball around "out of respect for other customers" and one of them said "would you let them do that in your house? probably not". I live in a very beautiful house and I let my kids and their friends do whatever they want as long as it is safe. Perhaps if they asked me nicely, I would have tried to stop the toddler from throwing his light squeaky ball around. My feelings were really hurt in front of the other customers and I am not coming back to great clips. There are other options and other places where kids are welcome. read more

I checked in online. I got there within an hour and they had removed me from the list. I checked in online so I could be taken care of by a certain stylist and not wait forever. Because I was removed from the list I was put at the bottom of the list. I'm a loyal customer and was treated like crap. Nobody did anything to try to rectify the situation. If you need a last minute haircut or trim, swing by Great Clips. This is a chain hair salon that limits their services to cutting hair. They seem to do a lot of mens and children's cuts.(which is what I use their services for-my young daughter) If you are looking for a lingering, luxurious, and pampering high end spa experience this is not for you. If you want a simple haircut or trim and to just walk in without an appointment, this might be the ticket. They do a fine job, offer friendly service, keep the salon clean and can get you in and out pretty quickly. If you are especially in a hurry you can even check in on-line. read more

Was in and out in under 10 minutes. My stylist did my trim, seemed very rushed and unfriendly. Noticed my cut was not completely done but wanted to leave quick because I felt uncomfortable by the whole staff. Definitely not a friendly place to be. Never coming back. read more

Just had my hair cut by Jennifer last night. I love it! I am going from a pixie cut and wanting to grow it out, but need trims to keep it not looking like a hot mess. You can really tell mistakes with a short cut but it's awesome. She nipped the top then cut the bottom up at an angle. Great cut for allowing the top to grow out first. Have had several cuts here and never any bad ones...and I was always a high-priced salon kinda girl. Cuts here at Town and Country compare and much cheaper! read more

I have been going to this great clips for a few years now. My hair grows very slowly so I only get my haircut twice a year. I have never had a problem until this week. When I called on the phone to see if my stylist was in, the person on the phone was very rude. Reluctantly I went anyways and had the worst experience ever. The stylist didn't listen to me at all and now my hair is very short and will take a long time to grow out. This stylist also didn't talk to me at all during my 20 minute haircut. The customer service here is very poor and needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

Stylist was awful! I suggested my 18 year old go to Great Clips for a trim. I don't feel you need to spend a lot of money for a haircut. She has fairly straight hair with a little face framing. Stylist did not listen to her requests at all! I will make sure to share this with as many people as I can. read more
