All I have to say is exceptional service. They are taking precautions during COVID. For instance, they take your temperature as you enter the shop and they only allow two customers to be waiting inside. They also offer an online check-in service which not only saves the customers time waiting in the store, but it also minimizes the amount of people waiting in the area. I would highly recommend that you check-in online first before going to the facility as the wait times can be upwards of 30 minutes. All the staff were wearing masks. A sweet women named Annie cut my hair and she did an excellent job. I asked her to cut my hair to just below my shoulders and give me a lot if layers. I also asked that she style my hair with a middle part. She did everything I asked for and it only took her about 20 minutes. We also had a very nice conversation which made my experience all that much better. I have been going to Great Clips to get my hair cut for years now and have never had a negative experience. My hair cut was 20 dollars, without tip. Considering that it can be upwards of 60 dollars when you go to a salon, I would say this is definitely worth your money. read more

Traumatized. I went in, asked for a 2 inch trim to clean up my edges & face framing layers. The lady convinced me to do 3, and I thought "ok what's another inch".. Well the lady cut my layers shorter than I asked by about an inch AND lopsided. She also cut the back SO blunt and also uneven on one side. When I walked out, I knew it was bad but I didn't want to look in the mirror yet. I had to go to another place in town, where they had to cut more just to even it out and fix how choppy it was. So instead of an easy 2 inch trim, my hair is 4 inches shorter and I've been crying ever since. Never again! read more

I've gotten my hair trimmed here a couple times and needless to say I will probably never come back. I usually get my hair cut with different stylist at this location because I haven't found "my person". Hair cuts are also affordable but when I got my haircut the other day it looked ok until I got home... I asked for a trim ( less than half an inch off my length and trim the layers about an inch) because last time the lady before her cut way more than I asked for. My hair cut is completely uneven and now my hair is ruined. I do not think this place specializes in women's hair cuts. read more

I'm not sure if it was just the staff working today (5/20) or if this place has changed significantly over the past year, but I've never felt less confident about getting a haircut. The experience was so off-putting that the person who walked in after me pretended to take a phone call--just to leave before risking a cut. I went in today to get a haircut. I had told the stylist that I wanted to keep the blunt ends of my hair, and cut it about an inch or so shorter. She was friendly, but as she was about to wrap up the haircut, I had said "is the right side longer, or am I crazy?" She had assured me that both sides were even. I didn't want to push or it or cause confrontation so I took her word. I went to a bathroom a few hours later to look closely at my hair, and I was right; my hair was uneven. When she had cut it, I told her that in previous haircuts, stylists have cut my hair when it was parted down the middle because I switch my part from left to right often. I was initially going to make this review before going back to get it fixed, but I'm making this review to focus more so on how they handled my request to come back and have my hair evened out. The same stylist who had cut my hair met me at the register along with someone else, and when I tried to mention the unevenness, I was immediately met with resistance as she tried to tell me that it was. Logistics aside, I was doing my best not to be rude and I kept saying sorry for coming back, but she didn't understand that my hair was uneven in the first place. As she proceeded to fix the sides, she passive aggressively put the cape on me and made some comments that made me super uncomfortable and guilty for coming back at all. I left the salon feeling super embarrassed for wanting to even out my hair when it wasn't done right in the first place. Not to mention I was polite and cordial the whole time, and I kept saying sorry for even coming back to the location. ALSO NOTE that my hair is STILL uneven after I had gone back the second time to have it fixed. This review isn't so much to criticize the haircut as much as it is to make note of a stylist who made my experience overall negative by the way she treated someone who wasn't rude or aggressive back. Also for making me feel completely incompetent for thinking my hair was uneven (which from the photo and just by looking at it, I know it was). Set an appointment came in sat down by one of the employees who told me she didn't have clipper guards to cut me a fade. Then I was sat back down passed up in line to wait an additional 30 minutes for a person that does have clipper guards to cut someone's else's hair who is behind me in line. Waste of $20!!! Sent my son out to get a haircut because I didn't have time and he ended up coming here!! Annie needs to practice more or give the clients to someone else if she doesn't know how to do someone's hair. He asked for a 6 on the sides and a trim on the top. He ends up looking the same and half of his beard was shaved along with his sideburn. So he was pissed he had to shave his whole beard! Yes he has slot of hair but it's an easy job and he isn't picky at all. I don't know why he didn't speak up! First time taking my son there. My husband usually takes him for his haircut. I like how you can check in through their app to book an appointment. At the time we went, it was a 48-minute wait. That wasn't a problem because we went next door to Chaos for beverages while we waited. Once we returned to Great Clips we still had 28-minute wait. Waiting for them to call my son because he was next on the list the only people waiting. A woman came in asking for a trim and the front chair stylist said she would take her she just had to clean up her station. She never asked us if we have been helped or if we were on the list before agreeing to take the walk-in. As soon as she was done cleaning, that woman rushed into her chair. Shocked in disbelief because we have been waiting for 48 minutes and my son was next. I said, "Excuse me, but my son was next on the list, and she insisted on taking the walk-in. Then I told her how long she we have been waiting, and then she asked the woman to wait for the next available person. Then when she took my son back I started to tell her how I want my son's hair, and she just looked and said " I got it" didn't even let me finish. And when she was done she cut it too short. I was upset because we are taking family photos this weekend and doubt it will grow back to look some what decent for pictures. Lesson learned never going back read more

He put in zero effort into it, and I came out of great clips with super uneven hair, little bits all over my face (didn't even bother hairdrying the bits off), and having to go somewhere else for another hair cut. Judy did a great job with my brothers haircut! She took her time and paid attention to detail. Her customer service was awesome, she was very polite and made my little brother feel comfortable during his haircut. Will be coming again!! The lady at the first stall on the left i assume odds the manager or owner but cannot cut a fade at all. I knew as soon as the Clippers were pressed on my head that this was gong to be a bad cut. I can usually tell by their confidence in handling the clippers. Fade was totally not straight and she has no consideration for peoples time or lack there of. The only reason I came here was because I had a coupon, and honestly I wish I had gone somewhere else. I bleached my hair during quarantine so I wanted to cut my hair a bit shorter to cut off the dry and damaged part. My hair was halfway down my back and Kristy and I agreed to cut it to above my chest. She complained to the other employee the whole time about clips, the apron, and just trivial things the entire time. I asked for layers because my hair is curly and if I don't then it just poofs out. Usually when I get my hair cut they spray it until its wet and run a brush or comb through it to untangle it ( something i couldve done ahead of time but it tangles up about 10 minutes later so I thought there was no point). She sprayed the top of my hair, not enough to wet it, and was visibly frustrated. That's when she just started cutting my hair. One hand on her hip and the other just cutting my hair haphazardly with scissors. Instead of untangling my hair or even asking me to do it myself, she just decided to cut above where my hair was tangled. Thats like 2 inches above what we had agreed on. My hair is uneven. At the front its to my shoulders and the back is at my neck. Im very sad and disappointed. Her costumer service was awful and so is the haircut. read more

It could've been worse but i'm unsatisfied with the cut. Asked for layers but they aren't noticeable or remotely close to layers. Asked for sideburns half way and it's cut to the top. Overall want to go back to get my hair fixed. Problem is that they have good stylists but always switch people out every few months. Last person who cut my hair made it look great.. but with the same notes and style, along with reference pictures, it didn't come out good this time. Please stop changing workers and stick to good ones. The place is nice and i'd never like to see it leave, but the cuts need to be better read more

Great Clips isn't really a great clip. Not recommended for male haircuts. Lady in the first chair was the quite literally the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I still tipped her to be nice, but I had to go home and fix my hair myself. Left and right sides uneven and several places with long strands of uncut hair. She also stopped 3 times during the haircut to try to upsell other walk-in customers on their various shampoos and potions. read more
