We have been going to this Great Clips since it opened, literally years and years ago. Every one of the stylists (esp Sandy!) is caring and conscientious. They take their time to do a thorough cut--and the vibe is friendly and welcoming, always. Wait times are reasonable/nonexistent if you check in online. We love Clawson GreatClips! read more

I never had a problem with great clips until today. I come in for a simple side cuts. I have long curly hair and I just want my sides to be cut. One cut all around. I was instructed with Guy, his hair was so shaky , I felt like he was going to cut my top hair. He literally miss some spots on my hair not coming back to this place. read more

Pretty awful. Witnessed them treating a disabled senior citizen like scum for coming in to get her hair washed twice a week since she isn't able to do it herself. Stylist complained the entire time about how awful the woman was and then refused to blow dry her hair for her. I'll never be back to this or any other Great Clips again. read more

I will never return to this location. I've been here multiple times to have my kids' hair cut, and each time I return, one or more of their stylists amazes me by being even more rude than the last time I was there. This time was for sure the last time! During our visit, the stylist, Vera, mistook my my 10 year old daughter for a boy (she has hair to her shoulders). After I corrected her initially and tried to brush it off in front of my daughter, she asked me two more times to confirm if she was a boy or girl! The weirdest behavior EVER! Even after I answered her again to confirm, she continued to refer to her as "him" for the rest of the time there. My daughter was embarrassed and confused as to why she was acting this way. While prepping to cut her hair, she so aggressively combed my daughter's hair that she was in tears and I had to ask her to be more gental. She insisted that she wasn't hurting her and proceeded to joke about it with the customer in the next chair. Later she loudly asked the customer in the next chair and the stylist if my name was a man's or a women's name, because "in her country it is a women's name but here it is for a man"...my name is clearly a women's name, so I'll assume that she was now calling me a man. To top the night off my daughter told me on the way home that she "whispered" rude things about my hair to the stylist next to her, not minding that my daughter could hear her. This woman does not belong in customer service and should not be working around people at all. Shame on her! read more

I've been here three different times and even though this location is less than a half of mile from my home I drive to the next city over to get my hair cut now. read more

Went to get my daughter's hair cut and they lady didnt even comb her hair, she just cut. Her hair was so uneven. I went back not even 16 hours later to have them fix it. The lady started combing then cut it. She then told me to go home and comb her hair then come back. Her hair was so uneven!!!! What kind of place is this!!! read more

Was very pleased with my experience (I'm a female)...I walked in at about 11:40 and was taken in the back right away. Sandie did a great job on my hair and was very friendly. They always have coupons (mine was from the back of my Kroger cash register tape!) which is a plus. I definitely would advise avoiding the noon rush...when I left, there were three people waiting (two stylists working), and that side of the parking lot gets ugly with people fighting over spaces instead of just parking down closer to the CVS. read more

I've been going to Great Clips for a while (various locations) and usually have a good experience. Last week the woman who cut my hair forgot a section, and I left with a section of hair still 2 inches longer than the rest. I noticed in the car and turned around to have it corrected. She was noticeably distracted socializing with other stylists throughout my cut so I wasn't surprised that she made a big mistake but I was still horrified. She was moderately apologetic (although I expected to be offered a refund), and while she was fixing it -- she even said she made the same mistake cutting her bosses hair! Totally get what you pay for, and I probably won't be going back. read more

So UNHAPPY...I went there last minute after my errands, and regret it so bad. My bangs are crooked and too short, my sides, well, they are f'uped too. The back is a little uneaven. But I only wanted a trim (1/2 inches)! I am not the one to make a scene, but I told her I did not like it. She said, "wash it, and style at home, you will like it then."Never again. HA! no such luck. Cannot fix it - have to wait a few months now for it to grow back. Stay away, i can do a better job myself. read more

I have been growing out my hair and haven't had it trimmed in 7 months... So I figured it was time to get rid of my ends as they were shot from curling my hair. I did the online check in and didn't wait more than 5 mins once I got there. My stylist was friendly, kind, and listened to what I wanted. She didn't remove more than an inch from the bottom. I used to pay $50+ for a cut, so with tip the $15 total was welcomed. I will probably come back, in another 7 months when I need to, but all the other cuts around me looked great too (especially the men's cuts). read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! I don't understand why do they hire people who aren't capable to do the job ??? The lady messed it up completely. Is it that difficult for someone to understand what has been asked to do ??? If even if the same is explained 3-4 times...If you don't understand DON'T pretend to understand. I had come for a hair cut and they shaved my head. I don't care if they compromise with their Brand but I do not want to compromise with my appearance....at any cost...'Not so' Great Clips - do you get that ? The disgusting part is they offered me a discount to lieu of it...for what ??? For making me appear like a Dumb??? I am not here to get discounts mind you and then allow you to mess up with my looks...if you can't do the things right you better SHUT DOWN !!! This not about a product that I have purchased from a departmental store that I can return if I don't like... I got a terrible haircut here. I had choppy layers walking in. I told the stylist I wanted them to blend in more and that I wanted them smoothed out. I also showed her a picture of the cut I wanted. I ended up with a cut that looked absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her and my layers were even more choppy and uneven than they were when I walked in. The stylists were very busy talking to each other and not very focused on cutting hair. They also don't clean up well. There was hair all over from the client who was there before me. I definitely won't come back to this place. read more

They tend to leave most of the back and top long creating a misshaped grow in for men. But, if you don't care and just need a basic cut, it is good enough and they are nice and the coupons are good, but most of their talent has left for other GC locations. read more
