I have been coming to this location for a haircut off and on for several years. For a basic cut- no shampoo or fancy stuff- this is a great place. Most of the stylists are friendly and are accommodating to what style you want. All are experienced stylists. On one occasion I did have a negative encounter involving my online check in. The stylist was taking people in person first, even though I had checked in online and was waiting. I won't go to that stylist. But everyone else is great. There literally is NO point showing a photo of exactly what you want because you won't get it. I had long hair going in and wanted a medium angled bob. See photos of my inspo and what I showed her. None of the photos should she have cut my hair so short that would need to razor off my neck hair! Her first cut she literally cut 6 inches off, so I had plenty of length to achieve the cut I asked for. The back should have been cut just above the shoulders and the first cut she made was to the back so short that she had to use a frickin electric razor on my hair in the back. I knew then that she had messed everything up. But the damage was done and I didn't want her to mess it up even more by getting upset at that time. I've cried on and off over the hours because she messed my hair up so bad. My goal with the cut was to do messy curls. My hair is so short that I can't even curl it except for the thin layer of front that I have left. I have to Bobby-pin my hair now until this mess grows out bc the front part is so thin. I know its hair and it will grow back. What is the point of showing a photo to the hair stylist when she can't do anything to resemble it. I look like a joke now because of this woman. I've been in plenty of times with no problem. This is where my husband goes and where I've taken my 2 year old. This was my 3rd haircut there and the last 2 times were fine. I'm so embarrassed now and I'm still in shock and disbelief that she messed my hair up this much. I'm crying now thinking of going into work tomorrow and how I wish I could stay home until this grows out. It's so bad I can't even show an after photo of my cut. She again, cut it so short in the back that it's level with the bottom of my ears and it's straight across with just the smallest it's angle down in the front. It's horrible!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I went twice to get an undercut (when they just shave the back bottom of your hair on females. Like two inches). She charged me $12. Today I went in for the same thing. Charged me $20! Twenty bucks for two minutes of work. It's already shaved. Just need to be trimmed. I'm on file there and both acted like they've never seen me before and they've both done my hair. Very nice younger girl who works there tried to tell them I was misquoted and apologized. They wouldn't budge and said if they use the clippers, it's $20. I said well how did you cut it the first time if you didn't use clippers?? Because it was $12 that time. BS. Total lie. And I hope it was worth the $20. I will never go back there. I went in for a simple bang trim, and ended up with the entire front part of my hair sheared off. The stylist's name was Dearing, although I seem to get a new face every time I go there. I was told that I would get a call from the shop manager regarding this travesty. This happened a week ago, still no call, I finally got fed up and went and got my money back. NEVER going back!!! This is going to take months to grow back to where my bangs look normal again, meanwhile I now have to wear a hat everywhere I go to cover it up, and we're entering hot season. Came in last weekend with a photo of exactly what I wanted, was hoping to get the lady I like and trust, but I got a girl I've never seen before, and she completely screwed it up, kept trying to fix it and made it worse. She was nice at first but her horrible haircut that went on for 40 min by the end she was short, rude, and obviously trying to rush me out. And after I left my hair is uneven, I have hair long and then way shorter right next to each other, the back line on the top of my head looks like a hack job like a child trying to draw a straight line. I came here on the whim to get my son a haircut since he needed a trim really bad. I got Jennifer at the time and wanted a Korean haircut for my son and she knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. Came back about a month later since we are trying to grow out my sons hair and she remembered us and knew what to do. For the price she is awesome for a Korean haircut at a Korean salon it's like 30 or 40 bucks here it cost me 17 plus tip... yup definitely going to come back. He was too nice to say anything but I want to warn those who want a simple skin fade to take your business elsewhere. I came in here and asked for a trim. 2 on the sides and about finger width off the top. The gal started off well and towards the end I saw that one of the sides was longer than the other. I asked her to correct it. As she corrected it, she went too high and made the tops lop sided. She didn't catch that till I said something. She then tried to correct this but had to narrow the top. You wouldn't think one Super Cuts, Great Clips, etc, would be better or worse than any of the others...especially for simple hair cuts like the one we requested for our 12 year old son. Maybe the haircut wasn't terrible...he definitely hated how short it turned out, after saying we wanted a trim, but overall, the haircut was okay...what I can't comprehend is how she scraped and scratched our son's neck in the process! We have been coming to Pavilion Centre Great Clips for 3.5 years. My husband likes that his hair style cut preferences are saved and he can come and just his hair cut. Today, the stylist (who we think is new) asked him for his hair cut preferences. He was talking to her when the tall, slender stylist with long brown hair, remarked in a sharp curt tone. At the same time, our autistic grandson was ge a hair cut by Johnny (who is fabulou). My grandson watches my phone to stay calm. Johnny was helping us to prop the phone on his counter. Again, the tall stylist, was curt, saying less about the phone and more hair cutting. I commented he is autistic and the phone helps him. She never apologized. We will rethink about getting hair cuts if this stylist is at the store read more

Does not let you sit with your child even with a mask on and waits to mention that until you've been waiting for 30 minutes in the car and your child is already caped and sat. There should be an exception for scared children under 8 years old. If I can serve a group of 5 people and none of them are wearing masks you can let me hold my 4 year old sons hand while we both have masks on. read more

I can't afford expensive haircuts, and this is the first place I've tried since I moved, so I wasn't sure how it was gonna go. I told Kaitlyn what I wanted and what level of effort I was able to put into my hair, and she worked with me to find a style I loved. She listened when she asked how I liked the cut and I clarified what I wanted, and she made some adjustments to make it exactly what I was hoping for. We had a coupon for a $7.99 haircut from a different location. At the end of the service we asked if we could apply the coupon to his haircut. The hairdresser had to call another person up to the register (I'm assuming his superior) to ask. They said they couldn't honor the $7.99 coupon because they didn't have it in their system but gave us a discount for $8.99 instead--we were very thankful! A few days later we went online to check our bank statement to see that these two FOOLS charged our card for a $12.99 haircut! Who does that?! We will NEVER return to this Great Clips. I have never been to a place so horrible to get my hair cut, not only did the lady leave a bold spot on the top of my head (I am a female) she insulted my step father. As she was talking to me she commented "your step father restarted or something" to my young sister because he was making a baby laugh with a funny voice. then we got coupons for free hair cut and apologies. I've been getting my hair cut here every 2-3 months for the past six years. I've never had a bad haircut, they range from functional to really good. But the haircut I just got this afternoon was the best haircut I've ever received in my life. My typical haircut is pretty straightforward - #2 on the side and #6 on top, no sideburns and rounded in back - they can usually do pretty quickly. But today Graciela cut my hair and she took it to a whole new level. It was the little things that you wouldn't think about, like turning off the clippers each time she passed them in front of my face to change sides, or holding the cord up so that it didn't drape across my legs. She thinned my daughters hair out w/o asking first, and when I said I wanted the front in a feather she had no idea what i was talking about. Came here on a Sunday when i couldn't find any other hair salons open. all of the women working were extremely friendly and patient. the woman who cut my hair asked a ton of questions beforehand (which i appreciated), and she noticed the way i normally style it and gave me recommendations based off of how i style it. she also was recommending products that weren't crazy expensive and i didn't feel like she was just trying to sell me products to get commission, like what i've felt from other stylists.
