The extensions are supposed to last 6-8 weeks and it didn't even last 4 days before it ripped a chunk of my hair out and started unraveling. The stylist was told and got pictures of the damage from the bead being done too tightly and proceeded to blame me. The lack of unprofessional, rudeness, and overall attitude about fixing a mistake is mind blowing!! Will never be coming back

I met the owner once, she told me that I should get braces and maybe my future hairstyles would make me look even better So I can see right away her strong yet genuine character. Honest, straightforward, which may appear to some people as blunt and harsh, depending on how you judge people. She speaks her mind, speaks the truth and makes great suggestions to make her customers look their best. Bottom line: I say she is not in the business to force people to do what they do not want to do, but she certainly does provide a necessary and objective point of view, which is a rarity. After getting frustrated with how much effort my hair takes to clean and dry in the freezing cold, I finally bit the bullet and looked up hair salons in Indy and found Marshall Beauty Salon. Gave them a call to schedule a next day appointment, and sat down with Jessica for a haircut. Now unless you speak Korean (which I don't), I'd recommend that you bring a picture with exactly what you want since there's a bit of a language barrier. I showed Jessica two pictures of what I wanted and she delivered perfectly! I went from long hair to a stylish bob with great layers and volume. I was also surprised that the haircut and wash was only $35. Where I'm from in SoCal, haircut only is $35-50 so I came out really happy. Even if you aren't Asian, I recommend going here since they definitely have some great haircutters at a great price! Also, if you like Korean food, come here on M-F since Bando Kitchen is right next door :) I say M-F only because I went over today and they don't have the lunch special on the weekend and it's pretty pricy otherwise.

Although she was very quiet, she was very focused and allowed me to have a relaxing experience. The receptionist was also very friendly. I was offered some infused water when I checked in and only waited for about 2 minutes. I just wanted a haircut so I started off by showing Paige two different pictures on my phone of something I was considering. I could tell she combined the two photos in her head before cutting my hair, and she only saw the photos for a couple seconds! Every haircut includes a wash, hot towel around your neck, scalp massage, hand/arm massage, and a neck and shoulder massage. You can opt out of anything, but I enjoyed the relaxation of it all. Also, the pricing is very competitive with other salons in the area, if not cheaper. After cutting, drying, and layering my hair she offered to straighten or curl my hair. She never seemed in a rush and made me feel great. I just wish she would have told me which products she was using in my hair, during the hand massage, and for the neck massage. She even sprayed something in my hair before drying it so now I'm curious what all she used and what they did. But I guess I could have asked. Overall, I have never loved a haircut so much the first day. I had a great experience at Pure Concepts and will be coming back next time.
