Wasn't able to take an after photo as my daughters hair was in pigtails and didn't have time as the stylist was getting her ready. Amy was my daughters hairstylist and she was very kid friendly. She had asked if this was her first time and even made her feel comfortable. Amy asked how I wanted her hair as you can see in the photo she doesn't have much hair and very thin. I asked for a trim just to get rid of those split ends. Overall, super quick after a few snips. And offered my daughter a lollipop. Super great personality. Reason behind the 4star rating is just because of my past experience when I had my hair cut not to long ago and I had asked for a 3-4in trim and styled which my stylist just did a straight cut and done. Other than that, I do have my parents and family come here and I came back because there are other stylist and you always need to give it another try. Which came out perf. Pricing is reasonable as everything is big on inflation these days.

Right side of head , a flop of hair shorter than the R side

I got my hair cut on 9/2/24 by Georgina, everything looked fine when I left as the hair was all brushed back together. later that evening I looked in the mirror and saw a big flop of hair on the right that was shorter than the left side. This morning I called, I was upset and said I don't know what to do.I am not a soft spoken person to begin with and my voice tends to get a louder when I'm upset. The guy on the phone said come and get it fixed I said it can't be fixed, louder than he liked I guess. . He yelled" I didn't cut your hair" , I said "I never said you did", then he said to stop yelling,he was also yelling at me "I didn't cut your hair". I told him I'm not yelling at you I'm upset with the situation and don't know what to do. He told me to "treat him with respect as a human being", I said he should "treat me with respect as a customer". I said I'm coming down there, I thought they needed to see what I was talking about When I got there he was very defensive and combative as soon as I walked in the door, again said "I didn't cut your hair" , I told him" I never said you did", I asked for the manager, he said "she's not here", when will she be here, "she's sick", what's her name ? he wouldn't tell me, again I said he needed to treat me with respect as a customer. I showed him the flop of hair and he screamed at me and told me " LEAVE, LEAVE, LEAVE", I said i'm not leaving till you tell me her name, he told me Tessa. I asked for his name , he wouldn't tell me, I said ok Ill just tell her the guy with the ugly earrings, (big round gauged earrings). He just kept screaming LEAVE at me. I called him a freak , not good but by this time I was furious. I will keep calling back till I reach Tessa as I feel I deserve a refund for a lopsided haircut and the inappropriate behavior of the staff member. I have had my hair cut there several times and never had a problem, I especially like Santana but this will be the last time I go there if this is the way they treat their customers. I wanted Santana but he was out of town.

I been coming here for awhile for the convenience knowing the haircuts are going to be a hit or miss. But holy shit... my fkn hair literally had a bald spot from an employee I never seen before. My hair is so uneven and butchered.... I trust the person cutting my hair not to do a job like a middle schooler but this is it. It was simple... please cut the sides short, leave the top and thin out top. I was in and out in less than 10. It was my fault for not checking my hair when it was done. It wasnt until i got home and rinsed my hair to notice a fkn bald spot... just how. My rant is over. If the normal employees arent there and the wait time is 0 for awhile. Just go another time. Even on slow days, 5 min wait is normal. Word of advice to barbers, stop talking and asking questions and focus on cutting hair.

In need of a hair cut or beard trim? This is the place to come for a quality, quick, inexpensive hair cut / trim. They still have the free shampoo with Yelp check in offer listed on this business, if you show them and say it's still offered they will do it hesitantly. They will try to tel you their boss said that was removed months ago, but as long as it's still here, USE IT! They save notes on your hair cuts and keep it stored with your phone number. You can check in on line or use the app to see how long the wait is at any location. Make sure you check, a location 1 mike away had an hour wait and no wait at this location. Nice friendly hair stylists who will do exactly what you tell them, remember this is a budget hair cut not a salon.

Never ever expected this sad experience. I walked in asking to have haircut and shampoo. After my haircut and shampoo, the lady just take off my towel and said thank you. My hair is totally wet and I was shocked about the whole situation. I asked her "Don't you dry my hair?" She then said "So you need a blow dry?" .... I can't believe this at all, how do you expect me to walk out with my hair is still dripping water? I replied "Yes, I need my hair dry". This is not the worst part yet. After this horrible experience, I was ready to pay and leave. She charged me $29 to dry my hair. I don't want to lose my temper and I just paid and left. This is definitely the worst hair salon I have ever been. I would choose 0 star if it is allowed. read more

Used to love taking my son here to get his haircut. But even checking in early online on my iphone app, I found myself waiting for a while at their register to be waited on. I was ignored by the 3 people who saw me. So we sat down since I thought we already did the online check in. Then 2 other customers walked in and they were greeted immediately. I had to let the lady know at the register that I have been waiting and the customer let me talk to her. So my son was up next. Just very poor service. Will not come here again. It's too bad the guy who always cut my son's hair doesn't work there anymore. He was an A++. Always fantastic! read more

With the way things are, Im going to continue coming here . 11/4/2016 back here again! Just missed Sarah but Joni did an amazing job. I found this Great Clips thru Yelp. I'm looking for a reliable stylist nearby. Aurora did a great job cutting my hair. She paid attention to what I wanted. She was skilled and took her time to make it right. it was gratifying because the last few experiences trying to get this particular cut done at other salons have been unsuccessful and frustrating for me. Of course I will have to see how the cut is over time. So far I'm pleased. Thanks Aurora! I will tell my daughter and daughters-in-law about it---they are always looking for a good but reasonably priced hair salon. read more

They will kick you out even if you checked in online. I checked in at 4:25pm and they said (the app) about a sixty minute wait. So I came in at 5:15 pm and they said sorry we closed at 5pm (even their sign and yelp said 7p). The lady inside was very rude, saying "we closed". Go to Sports Clips near Walmart or Fantastic Sams down the street at Smiths (near Windmill) instead. I will never go to another GreatClips again and I will tell all my clients, friends, and family members to avoid all GreatClips as well. read more

Joanie and Elaine did my kids' and husbands' haircuts and did an awesome job. They were also very nice and did we'll keeping our kids calm since they are only 2 & 3 year olds and usually screams while getting their haircuts but this time they didn't. Yay! Don't go to any major hair-cut place such as super cuts, great clips, blah blah. I recommend the barbershop right around the corner you will pay a few more bucks but you will also have a quality service. Don't come here for a stylish cut, or before a big date as you will get styled from a middle-age lady, who's style comes from a Target catalog, and can't touch a single straight edge blade. However if you must come here (great clips) get a simple-hair if you always wear hats or also if your on an extreme budget (just cut it yourself) or if you have no swagger, or you really don't give a f**k about how you look. (How come they always ask for a phone number?) read more

This place is bullshit my husband check in and we've been waiting for 1hr then we walked out they took people who dont check in online first it looks like they pick people they want to serve they dont follow on who ever gets check in first or whoever gets in first we are so upset about it. read more

My son usually goes to the S. Durango location but we came to this location for the first time since they were open on Easter Sunday and will NEVER come back! My son checked in online as he usually does and gets called within a few minutes (the only positive from this visit) More and more people start to come in (some check-ins and some walk-ins). There were 3 stylists working and the one lady (don't remember her name but she was the older one and was caucasian, the other 2 ladies were asian and hispanic) closest to front counter was rude when customers checking in would ask for an approximate wait time. She would say "we're doing the best we can" in a rude tone when all the customer wants to know is if he has time to walk to albertsons. I understand you're feeling overwhelmed because the salon went from 2 customers to about 5-6 waiting but that doesn't mean you have to be rude. Anyway, my son finishes his haircut and I go to pay and she seemed to rush me. As soon as the receipt printed she threw it on the counter then also threw the pen on the counter. As I started to sign she was impatiently waiting for my copy of the receipt to print out. Then I asked if they had gift cards and right away she says no once again in a rude tone. I shouldn't have left her a tip! We definitely won't be coming back here! read more

We all know that sometimes people get busy and are unable to provide good customer service, which is always reasonable. Unfortunately, this establishment had several opportunities to provide us with DESCENT customer service and has failed every chance they were given. They provided us with inaccurate estimation of time. They were not able to check us in on three accounts. They took a couple of people ahead of us even though we were waiting there first. Overall, l they left a very distasteful taste in my mouth. I highly suggest to find a different hair salon shop. This place was TERRIBLE! read more

I haven't gone to great clips in a while because I'm trying to grow out my hair. I haven't had any complaints whatsoever with the stylists that have done my hair. I was really pleased and my hair is growing out beautifully. I would definitely go again if I need my annual haircut. I would recommend the manager for the ladies. I will never return to this establishment. I went in hoping to get a quick trim and wash after work one afternoon. Joni, who working the front desk refused to give me a price estimate, and instead directed me to a board with a complicated pricing structure. I asked her if based my hair length and what i wanted she could give me an idea of what it would cost, but she refused and again directed me towards the board. Shouldn't the employees at least have an idea of how much the services cost?! She made me feel unvalued as a customer. read more

what a terrible service. i check in online around 8:20 but i was still rejected to get a haircut by Joni because they need to close. i didnt receive any call regarding their rejection before i got there around 8:35 and she didnt even apologize. if they want to stop getting customers and go home right at 9 then they should not take appointment online rather than accepting it and reject me when i drive all the way to great clips. this is such a waste of time and i will never come back to this location. or might as well i will go to supercuts. so disappointed with their service and how they treat customers. read more

been going to GC ever since I moved to Las Vegas. Bunny was my first hair stylist, then she had a career change, so she referred me to Elaine and I've been going to Elaine ever since. I even followed her to this location when she transferred. I won't go anywhere else. I've also referred many friends to Elaine. choose Elaine, there will be a wait time because she is always booked, but you won't regret it!!! read more

The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I've had my hair colored many times in the past and haven't experienced this level of staining, which is why it stood out to me. I'm glad to hear you'll be focusing on improving the final check and communication moving forward.

I have super frizzy hair, so I normally have to flat-iron it every single day or get a magic perm just to keep a decent C-curl. But for the first time in my life, my jaw-length bob grew out beautifully. Even after 4 whole months, the shape held up perfectly and it was so incredibly easy to style every morning without any extra chemical treatments. The technical skill here is seriously unmatched. Some people might think the price is a bit on the higher side, but when you factor in the amazing longevity, the effortless daily maintenance, and how much you actually love your hair, it is worth every single penny. It's the definition of great value and total peace of mind. My husband also got his hair cut again today, and just like last time, we are both absolutely thrilled with how we look. It was overall a nice experience and I'd love to come back. ALSO I've seen reviews where people say they were required to pay 20% tip, I did custom tip that was less than 20% and the staff still thanked me. None of the staff were rude to any of us either. And nope, I'm not a paid influencer.

My "senior stylist," Evelyn, wasn't available until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. During that wait, I was offered water once, but I repeatedly had to ask how much longer it would be because the staff kept saying "soon" without giving me any actual estimate. When the appointment finally started, I showed Evelyn a reference photo and clearly explained my daily hair routine. I told her I don't use styling products, don't heat style my hair, and simply wash it and let it air dry. Instead of cutting my hair to suit that lifestyle, she used texturizing products and spent a significant amount of time styling it. I even mentioned that I would never recreate that styling at home because it isn't part of my routine. The finished haircut looked nothing like the reference photo. At the time, the heavy styling disguised just how bad the cut actually was. The salon gave me a $20 new-client discount, and I specifically told them to apply that amount toward the stylist's tip. Instead, they processed a separate $21.18 tip. While it's not the biggest issue in this experience, it was not what I authorized. The real disaster became apparent after I washed my hair at home. The styling products had been hiding an incredibly poor haircut. The layers are uneven and completely unblended. There are obvious chunks of hair missing, and the entire cut sits lopsided. It is nothing like what I requested or what I was shown in the mirror after it had been heavily styled. I'm now left with a haircut that is genuinely embarrassing to wear and will likely require another stylist to spend months correcting. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, unauthorized tip charge, and one of the worst haircuts I've ever received, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon.

It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

First off, I am usually patient with when it come to customers service because everything isn't perfect. With that being said, we called and ask if there was a wait or a lot of people there, and the lady said no. We get in our car and it took us literally 5 min to get there. When we get into the shop, there was at least 9 people ahead of us! Not just 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 but at least 9! So then one of the ladies asked us if this was our first time and we said yes. She said to check in and write our first name. We still were on the monitor list so we got up and ask if they could check us in and they said they did. Long story short, couple of people went ahead of us and they needed all of the information down to the address, for a simple hair cut. We waited a good 35 mins before they even called us up. The haircut is decent but the service is terrible. They are disrespectful and not good at taking care of their customers at all. I recommend going to somewhere else if you can. read more
