Would not recommend this location. I have taken my son many times to great clips. We were in Medina so I added us to the wait list. We arrived and only had to wait about 10 minutes. I didn't realize how bad my son's hair was until we got home but for $20 it was not worth it. The fade was chunky and the sideburns were cut very sharp. However, I went to the north court location Today to get my hair fixed from that issue. I spoke with Hannah while she was cutting my hair and she is the manager there and she was so professional and so helpful that since I've been going there for the last several years, it was a welcome site. I am an individual that is very selective when it comes to barbers, i know that. But this was not good - first thing, I asked Angela when she asked me "still number one on the sides" was yes, but PLEASE BLEND IT UP to my part. Next thing I knew, she cut everything off. And to add to all this, my part looks like a child cut it in. I could clearly see she was rushing through my cut since they just opened and had 6 - 8 people next in line. On May 25th, 2025, my sons haircut at Great Clips was so uneven it required a $30 corrective cut. Peer comments at a party upset him deeply, and the salons $16 refund didn't resolve the issue. Management acknowledged the problem but failed to respond to my formal requests by June 12th, 2025. read more

Stopped in to get a haircut 25 minutes before they closed, there was one person in the lobby and they turned me away because they didn't have time. Went to the riverstyx location a few minutes down the road and they gladly accepted my money and generous tip. I would not recommend this location - they need to get some stylists or a manager that understands customer service and how business reputations can be easily ruined. read more

The worst salon experience yet. Took my teenage daughter for a trim. She asked for a wash and a haircut. Stylist declined the wash and said "it's fine". Wouldn't listen to my daughter requests, pulled me over to ask what I wanted and I reminded her it was my daughter's choice. Then she spent 3 minutes barely trimming fuzz off the bottom. We were in and out in 8 minutes including waiting for one person in front of us. 8 minutes total for a women's haircut. By the time we got to the car, my daughter was in full tears; the stylist was that rude. Not worth the price or frustration with the rudest stylist possible. Zero stars. Cannot recommend. Buy your own scissors, it'll turn out better. read more

Unfortunately I did not use the girl in January that cut my hair that I've been growing out. I went in last week and got a different stylist. I asked if he had read the notes and I wanted the same cut neatened up, I also told him I was growing it out. I left with an uneven chop job and went back the following day. Heather fixed it the best she could but I learned a lesson. It's hair and I'll get it to grow out again, but definitely the worst experience I've ever had at Great Clips along with the fastest hair cut I ever had, took him about five minutes to ruin my hair. read more

Went in and signed in as "Jamie AND chris" to get haircuts because my fiance and I both wanted haircuts and the girl was told we were both here for haircuts and the girl said okay and I said to chris you go first I don't know how short I want it yet, so chris goes first while I sit and decide. Chris gets his hair done and I walk up (assuming it's my turn as we both signed in) and the girl said I would have to wait my turn.........but I was next in line. Won't return. read more

I just left the location in Medina, the experience that I had is inexplicable. The stylist who goes by the name of Georgette completely botched my haircut after which I voiced my displeasure. Georgette then proceeded to become verbally disrespectful, even going to the point of using profanity and vulgarity, including "TELLING ME TO F@CK OFF AND GO F@CK MYSELF!." I sat there in disbelief as my 12-year-old son looked on in astonishment. I can't believe this actually happened to a paying customer at a place of business, but it did. There was a lobby full of customers that heard it as well. Please do not take your family here unless you want them exposed to verbal abuse including vulgarity and profanity. It will be interesting to see if anyone from great clips corporate contact me after they see this post. Again, please do not visit this location with your children, let alone if you want quality treatment and service while getting a haircut. read more

I went to Great Clips yesterday and got a fantastic haircut. My husband has been going to this same location for about two years. He is very happy with them. Well, i have long, layered hair and received what is probably the best haircut of my life! Very happy. My stylist was Cieanna. My son needed a hair cut and we tried another place first (see my review for Best Cuts). After a long wait we left and went to Great Clips. Very clean, modern with more than one stylist. Was greeted right away. 5 minutes later my son was getting his hair cut. He looked fantastic. Will definitely be going there again. read more
