I asked for it to be just out of my eyes and the barber pushes it halfway up my forehead, and I ask for the sides to be shortened just a LITTLE and she completely shaved them down way higher than I asked for. She verifies that I want the sideburns just trimmed with a 3 guard at takes it halfway up my head way higher than I asked for. Long story short, ask for names so that way if they do good you can get them the next time too because some of them genuinely suck. read more

I got my haircut here today right here in Shepherdsville the Great Clips I don't typically go to many quote-unquote stylist or family haircut places like this I usually try to go to a barber to get my mop chop. However all The Barbers are closed and I work late now so I stopped in here told him hey do me up and the lady was nice she was friendly she was talkative talk about my job kids all the good stuff the thing that gets me is it's like 16 bucks for my haircut after tip I got a $3 tip and my hair you can cut it in like 5 minutes if less so it doesn't take much so I mean 16 bucks a little expensive for a quick haircut but you know how I get my hair so that ain't their fault. I have been taking my son's to this Great Clips in Shepherdsville for years. Always friendly service and great people. However, the last several cuts, my boys have complained, and their cuts looked like a child had cut their hair. This last time, it was atrocious. Chopped like he had done it himself. When I called to complain, Alicia the manager was very understanding and very accommodating to fix it I returned and when I asked her to input into the notes the stylist was to never touch my kids hair again (Daniel), suddenly, Daniel began verbally attacking me from his station (in front of my child). Daniel is the worst kind of excuse for a man, to verbally attack a mother and BLAMED my son (who is 14) for the choppiness and uneven cut-said "I asked him 3 times if it was even". He was waving his hands all childish like yelling at me across the room. Daniel at Great Clips in Shepherdsville should be ran off, but apparently the manager can't do anything with him because she just looked at me as if she couldn't even look at him. Walked in to get my haircut at 6:15 when closing is at 7pm. Nobody waiting ahead of me. There was one stylist cutting hair and the other sitting at her booth on her phone. The stylist not cutting hair told me there was a 30 minute wait and they wouldn't have time to cut my hair because they close in 30 minutes. I told her I tried to check in earlier and the app wouldn't let me and she said that's because they close soon. I looked around at the empty salon in disbelief. Went to this shop in Shepherdsville KY for a quick haircut only, nothing special. only 1 person cutting hair with only one customer in entire shop. Arrived at 6:40 and was advised that she would not have time take me in. Puzzled, I pointed to the door sign that clearly states hours M-F 9am-9pm. Again, it was only 6:40 pm. Was refused service. Ive been going to this shop for years. Well, never again. Save your money and go elsewhere where your business is appreciated like I'm doing now. read more

Once Covid was allowing hair salons to reopen I came in with pretty long hair but I was tired of paying for having long hair while unemployed because I simply don't have that kind of money anymore. I picked my hair cut out of a book and asked the the hair stylist could give me that kind of cut. It was kind of funny but she warned she would be using some barber scissors & shears on me so I could imagine the length for a minute but I told her I knew that and it was part of the reason I was getting it cut this short partially due to it's what I want and due to the 2021 season. "Models without bangs had their hair styled into an androgynous-looking chin-length style, with natural texture and slightly flippy ends". Androgynous-looking hair styles or the new "passion twists" are going to be the styles for this season. The woman could actually cut my hair the same as the picture, it looked great and I had many compliments so I'm keeping this style for awhile. I'm shocked the stylists took into account how I may feel if I didn't know what kind of a hair cut in a picture would make you feel. They are nice stylist. They also do bang trims for a fraction of a hair cut which helps in this time of trying to look your best for the best price. read more

I used to go when Pink Haired Pamela worked here, but have tried at least 2 other barbers here. Service was good, If you use the app and schedule when your on the way, your wait time is virtually nil. Always got a great haircut here. Barbers are very nice, and I have to admit, really cute too! read more
