Came in for the first time not knowing any stylists but needed a wash cut & blow dry which is always scary the first time. Jaime waited on me immediately even though he was busy and I felt immediately at home. I chose him to do my hair and I was not disappointed. My picky teenager came in about 10 minutes before closing for a cut. Everyone was friendly. There was no wait. Tina made sure she understood what he wanted and gave him a clean haircut. Very happy. Instructed Lacey how I wanted my hair cut, could not wat her because I need glasses to see at that distance. I had cut a swatch at the front of my hair and stated I wanted it that length all over with a blunt cut across my ears and on the back with a slight taper. The left side is mostly less than ONE INCH LONG, with the very front being cut the length I wanted. The back is tapered all the way up to the crown area half the length I instructed her to cut it. The right side is the length I had requested. She stated over and over again that she had EIGHT years experience, I stated I got my cosmetology license 47 years ago, I guess she didn't like that because she really butchered my hair! I am just glad I can stay in until my hair grows out, about a month should do it. read more

At first, Tina did the most wonderful.job with my new short hair style. I ranted and raved to all of my friends. When I returned for a trim she seemed preoccupied and spent very little time.on my hair. I left disappointed but know that we all have those days at work. I let my grow for months, thinking of a new hair style. But I decided to go back short and thought I would try great clips one more time. Tina was busy so I had Shannon cut my hair. This is the absolute worst haircut of my life. It's chopped as if a child.had scissors chops their hair. It's uneven everywhere and with a short haircut it's embarrassing. I even cried. Tomorrow is.easter and I am.going to wear a ball cap for family pictures. Thoroughly sad. And I cannot afford to have 2 haircuts . Ughhhhh. I recommend Tina. I was VERY hesitant to go to Great Clips. Since being here in Florida for 1 year, I tried several salons with good ratings. They were also very expensive, but didn't cut my hair very well at all. So I finally tried it and can't be more pleased. I asked for Tina because many people had given her good reviews, although I'm sure all the hair stylist would do a great job. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. The shop was very clean and Tina went out of her way to make my hair look great. I will be returning and would recommend them to anyone who is anxious and wants a great cut for a great price. read more

This location is in the same shopping center as the Publix in Zephyrhills. We have been coming to this place since my kids were toddlers. Today, my daughter needed a trimming. The place was not as busy as it usually gets especially during Snowbird Season. You can't even get into the place during that time of the year. I checked in online saying 3 minutes. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by staff and asking if we checkin on the app already. About 5 minutes later, she was taken to a chair. The staff were all with customers and being friendly as they are always when we stop in. The gentleman was kind and gave a nice trimming. He listened to my kid talk nonstop as she loves to socialize. It was only $12 plus tip. Not bad for a in and out trimming just to help my kid maintain her hair. Of course, we will be back again for her or my son. read more

I have never left a review before but I felt the need to warn anyone looking to go here. I have to admit all the stylists were extremely nice however, that doesn't get you far when my hair was COMPLETELY botched. I wanted to donate my hair for locks of love, meaning they just cut a ponytail out of my hair and then clean it up. I've always wanted to donate my hair but it wasn't long enough. Finally I could. I wanted 10 inches off (that was the minimum to donate), and not only was 13 inches cut off, but I had to get more cut off from these pictures because, as you can see it is completely messed up. The worst part? They let me leave the salon with my hair like this. I didn't even realize it looked like this until I got home. The picture with my ponytail was the "after" picture I asked the stylist who cut my hair to take. You can see the strands that were not even cut from my long hair. I am not trying to bash this company or the workers because everyone makes mistakes and it is just hair. However, when I talked to the manager she said that it appeared I was nervous (typical for someone cutting 10 inches off their hair) which made everyone, assuming my hair dresser nervous as well. Odd statement to make? I called for a refund and the manager was very nice offering to fix my hair for me. Please take my experience into consideration. I was very upset they allowed me to leave with my hair looking like this. I hope my post can help anyone reading this avoid this happening to them. read more

I am SO upset and I didn't realize till I left and styled my hair. My hair is all different lengths. I loved the girl who did my hair, she was very nice, but my chair I was in was always moving and I think that is why it was so short. I was so scared to go here but I really needed a hair cut. I'm always getting screwed over when I try new places. I am going to stick to my regular places for hair nails etc.. it's unbelievable that this really happened to me. I just don't get it. read more

If I could give negative stars that's what this place deserves!!! I have taken my daughter for a trim twice to the great clips in Zephyrhills. She has very long thick hair that requires thinning and layers. BOTH TIMES she was butchered! The first time I brought her back after seeing at home just what this women did to her hair... a very kind gentleman fixed her hair... but this was already after 4 inches had been taken off!!! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned for a TRIM!! I have the women very specific instructions.... a trim to maintain her length and long layers. We even showed her a picture. The women then sprayed her hair only lightly brought all of her hair above her head and trimmed it. Then used her thinning shears like a lawn mower. She wound up with two obvious rows of hair, basically an upside down mullet !!! I am Beyond pissed! This being the week of homecoming I now have to take her to another salon to have it corrected! She had just had her hair back to its original length from the last horrible cut! I would let this go, but both times I had to pay for terrible cuts!!!! I'm concerned that this person is STILL butchering people everyday!!!! I don't know her name, but my daughters name is ****** *****and we were there the afternoon of Monday, October 7th. I want a response from someone as I really want to go back and let this women have it! Instead-we will NEVER BE BACK! Additionally, I will do my very best to let everyone know how horrible this place is and how they don't monitor quality and training of their so called stylists!!! This place is ridiculous if you're it getting a simple haircut for a child or senior citizen. If you want you want anything done outside of hair cut. They charge you for everything! Many paces I've ever been most services are included in the hair cut such as washing, blow drying, etc. they just wet your hair down with a spray bottle to cut your hair. Menu: Haircut $14, shampoo $4, conditioner $10, blow dry and style $15-$50. These add up. So if you're looking not not break the bank. Research and look for better place. read more

I brought my daughter here for a haircut for the first time and this will be the last time. The two stylists that were there seemed flustered and in a rush.I don't know why since they only had two people inside.It took 30 minutes to get my daughter in the chair. Which was no problem for us since we walked in and it was the evening. I told the stylist what haircut my daughter had in mind and showed her a picture. I asked the stylist to also thin her hair out a bit because she has thick wavy hair. They didn't wash her hair and they didn't ask me either so she started to just spray her hair down with water. Salons that I have been to before, they ask or it is just part of the haircut.The end result was horrible there was chunks of hair left all over my daughter's shoulders one side of her hair was not thinned out evenly with the other and the bangs were not cut well she had long strands of hair and uneven pieces. While waiting for my daughter I was able to talk to both stylist and they seemed nice but I would not come back here for a haircut. read more

Rebecca is the Jeffery Dahmer of barbers. My haircut was so bad I had to be late to work to get it fixed a couple days later. Comically uneven bangs.... a random, uneven, line of short hair on the back of my head. The back of my head looked like it was in the third trimester of pregnancy. It was hilarious and humiliating at the same time. Oh, and she blended in one side of my head and not the other. Here's a list of things that could lead to a better and cheaper haircut: Get drunk and then cut it yourself without a mirror. Hire a second grader who has frequent, intense seizures. Douse your scalp in gasoline and light a match. Run over your own head with a lawnmower Tie your hair to a doorknob and slam it shut I hope you find these alternatives helpful. read more

I love this place!! We have searched a long time for a place that can cut my 3 year old sons hair. He's impatient and has special needs. Rebecca is awesome. She always gives him a good cut in a timely manner so that he doesn't get too antsy. They allow for online checkin so there's no need for a long wait. It may just be this location but I wouldn't recommend it for ethnic hair. My brother has a tight kinky curl. Also he paid $14 for a haircut, not including shampoo. For about the same price Sports clips will offer VIP treatment with a hot face towel, massage and shampoo with the cut. The price is a bit steep for a dry haircut alone. read more

The salon has decided to go with an online wait list. In doing so, a person is able to log in and put themselves on the waiting list. If a person were to walk into the salon who clearly spent the time waiting for a service and the person who was clearly not there but signed onto the waiting list ahead of you, they can walk right in and right to the next available chair. This policy favors those with online capabilities and penalizes others without it. For this reason, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I have had my hair cut by Eboni many times and am always pleased with the cut and the service. The first time I went there all I asked for was something easy to take care of. Eboni checked out my hair, let me know the pitfalls and the good points and suggest layers. She did a great job. She also recommended a product to cut down on the frizzy, out of control way my hair gets. I have never been disappointed in my cut. I only get it cut by Eboni. read more
