My appointment was supposed to be a standard consultation and haircut. Instead, I was squeezed between two chemical appointments. Scheduling is the responsibility of the stylist and salon management, not the client. As a first-time customer, I expected a pleasant and professional experience. If there is any lesson to be learned here for both parties, it is that you must allocate sufficient time for new clients so they can leave your shop with a positive outcome. Ultimately, the photos speak for themselves: it was a bad haircut. Despite being handled by three different people, I feel like I am still being blamed for the result. The hand tied extensions were great for the first 4 days until I washed it. I went back after I told her I washed it and it lost the color and didn't end up matching the rest of my hair. All together it lasted me about 30 days if that at all. I reached out to the stylist on Instagram multiple times telling her the hair quality was deteriorating extremely fast every time it was washed and nothing was done. The only reason I paid as much as I did was because I was told the hair was supposed to last 6-8 months wow.... what a shame. I also only used their shampoo, conditioner and styling products but nothing helped. It was extremely dry and even other stylist would tell me that the hair could not be 100 percent human hair. I was absolutely taken advantage of and very disappointed. I had already reached out to them to tell them how disappointed I was and after I drove an hour up there out of my way to show them how damaged and awful it was.. they had the audacity to tell me that it was because another stylist had toned it. So for example my tip was based off of 2500$, and I gave 20% tip which ended up being 500$. ***however*** I had no idea. I was prompted on 15%, 20%, or 25% and it did not tell me the $ amount until my receipt after. -had to go back the next day because my hair didn't match extensions (Call me high maintenance but if I'm paying THAT much for hair I better be walking out looking like a freakin celebrity) After this I was justifying it because I thought "hey, Atleast the hair will last 6 months right?" .... Nope. After about a month my extensions were getting completely matted to a point I couldn't even brush them (mind you I sleep in a silk hair wrap and have silk sheets). Still decided to give this salon another shot because I heard all the great reviews. Got my hair moved up and colored ... which cost me 900$!? Still, thinking it was normal decided to schedule another appointment. I ended up having to work later and was going to come about an hour late (to an appointment that was booked for 6-8 hours mind you). Upon calling they informed me that even though I was still going to come to the appointment, I was going to be charged the 200$ cancellation fee??? Hm. Seems odd, needless to say I will not be going back there and I would advise you to do the same If you're looking for reasonably priced and a less than 10 hour time frame I would highly recommend Haley at Modish Salon in Sarasota. I love my hair bright blonde and this was a third of the time and a third of the price. She was able to do my hair, color, and extensions in 3 hours and was also able to remove an unneeded weft (which would've saved me a few hundred $ if color co could have placed them the way she did and not charged for an extra weft).
