We looked for another place and with the reviews we decided to try here. They were able to take care of his hair with little to no damage after the previous damage. He left looking great...so great that we decided to get my daughters (not Korean) hair permed as well. She had really long hair and the ends were fried from her straightening it so much. They were able to cut what was needed to make her hair healthy again, and her perm is AMAZING!!! Her hair was extremely poofy and curly and now it still has amazing volume but is so much more manageable. I am truly thankful that they have taken such care of my family, both Korean and non-Korean.

Please note that if you don't care about how your money and or time is valued then by all means suffer through it. my first time it was delayed by almost 2 hours. I was charged more than quoted. and it took 5 hours to complete. Being from a family of cosmetologist and master barbers I understand what it is to get behind at a salon. However I also know what it is to be accommodating and how to keep customers. I went back based upon years of experience with a stylist at the original salon. And understanding everyone has bad days. But today's experience was it! I will NEVER come to this location or recommend this salon! I booked for VIP Sunday service, arrived on time only to be informed that my stylist should be there in 15 minutes or so. I was asked for a picture of the style I wanted. she took a picture of it and said my daughters stylist would call 20 minutes ahead of completion. I inquired to insure that my daughter was the first on her books for today because of last times issue. She said yes and told me a story about how it's a children's salon and things always happen. proceeding to tell me a story of a client who's child wasn't comfortable being shampooed and how the parent understood and eventually the child left without receiving their services. I left to run some errands, 30 minutes later I received a call from my stylist telling me she didn't know how the system even booked her for Sunday because she doesn't work on Sundays. The irony is that this same system generates a text confirmation message prior to services. I replied to it. So how she didn't get a schedule generation of booking idk. What I am sure of is that if I didn't show i would have gotten charged a no show fee! When I commented that it's always something with their salon, I was told the other stylist may be able to squeeze her in if I chose a simpler style , but that I would still be charged the VIP service fee of $25! So where in the world do you drop the ball on booking, do a no show and then tell the client you can complete "a service" at a premium rate and think it's going to be ok. I told her I would just go and pick up my child. Which is also an issue because she's been sitting there for 30 minutes with nothing being done. when I arrived the lady reiterated about computer updating. at which point I reminded her of my last 5 hour experience and that it was always some issue. She said she could do something simpler with the added $25 VIP fee because it's Sunday. I asked her why would I pay premium pricing a lower service. she said she understood and was about to go and get something to eat. please note: there wasn't another customer in the salon and it was now an hour later. There were sooooo many ways this could have been handled. I'm a customer who tips and supports great service. So if you need your child's hair braided in Gwinnett drive to the original location in College Park because this will frustrate your soul! #id ratherpayhomestylist!!! Terrible, reflection on the brand and an experience that Im now reading is normal for this location. Management needs to come in an do an overhaul on policies, procedures and customer service.
