Kim was very kind to me during my appointment, i had a jacked up haircut that desperately needed to be fixed. Not only did she cut it well and shaped it to look better, she also listened to what style i wanted. We also had a good conversation, i rarely speak to the hairstylist during my appointment but kim made me feel safe to talk even if i was a bit awkward at times. Horrible if I could give zero stars I would! First of all no welcoming vibes.. had to wait, took forever to get seated. Told the lady I believe she was the one running the salon what I wanted. She proceeded to ignore my instructions. She then cuts my hair so short after telling her I didn't want it short! And she kept making it shorter. It's so uneven and chopped up. I call and Asked for a refund over the phone because I didn't like the service and she was so rude and hung up on me mid conversation. I wouldn't come here again. Before I come to the ungodly expensive price they suggest for a men's haircut, I want to talk about the super unfriendly women who runs this place. I went there for a haircut and without even me saying anything, she said that they dont have any spots. It was not even in friendly manner and she was arrogent. The price for men haircut was $30 which was more than anywhere in this area. She even made comment if I can not afford it, dont show up. Needless to say that I didnt get hair cut there, so cant comment on that quality, but basic customer service and human decency is missing. I recommend staying away from this place. PS: I did manage to get a $18 haircut within 2 miles of this business. read more

I have been getting my haircut from Kim for the past year. She's usually kind and thoughtful. Every time I've always walked out the door feeling good. But today I saw a VERY ugly side of her. Yesterday I had an appointment to get the same haircut I always get, I reminded her with a photo. She then proceeds to speed through the haircut giving me a cut equal length all around. I told her that is not what I asked for. She then starts yelling at me that I'm wrong. She grabs my head aggressively to start cutting again but I stand up not wanting to get my hair cut from someone upset. I pay and come back the day after to get it corrected. At the end of this appointment, I ask her to touch up the sides. She then starts screaming at me that she already fixed it and that it was time for me to leave. I informed her that I did her kindness by paying for my botched haircut the night before and It's now taking extra time out of my day to get it corrected. My haircut was not finished. She told me she doesn't care and screamed at me to leave the store. She told me she's been doing this for 20 years. I asked her why does she think she can treat customers like that. I have never experienced such an unprofessional attitude and lack of customer courtesy in my life. I recommend that no one goes here. Also, the waiting lounge smells like dirty diapers. read more

I went in for the very first time today. To begin with it's after 5pm and they're supposed to be open until 7pm. When I walked in the smell was unholy. I don't know if they had a problem with the plumbing but it smelled like someone had taken a dump in the middle of the floor. Next, there weee two women in there, both with their jackets on. I thought they were closing early but there was no sign outside saying so. Then, one of the women asked if she could help me. I asked for a haircut and she said "Sorry, I am busy". Ok, but she didn't ask if I wanted to make an appointment for another time, or if I'd like to wait. On top of that there's a sign stating that there's a 4% charge in every credit card transaction. We have lived next door for two years. They have a sign out front that says "walk ins welcome" but whenever you go in the staff is extremely unfriendly and says they do not have time for today. As I said, we have lived next door awhile and have both tried to go in there on multiple occasions and get the same answer. If you ask me the business is a front for illegal activity. read more

She really care about her client and she really care about her client's desire as far as style & outcome. I really like how the salon is so clean and accommodating.
