This place is definitely not what it used to be for pedicures. New owners now, and not as warm and friendly as it used to be. Won't go into all the details, but hard to communicate with the nail tech, so difficult to get exactly what I wanted. Never asked if the temperature of the basin water was okay, so it was cold. Had old gel base left on one of my toenails from a previous gel pedicure, and they didn't even remove it before doing the new pedicure. Just filed it a little, but now there is still a lump in the nail surface where it is not even with the nail, and it shows through on the nail through the new pedicure. After pedicure, they just leave you sitting in the chair while they move on to the next customer. They used to help you get your slippers on over the freshly painted nails when you got up - no more. The pedicure is just okay. I definitely don't like the lump of gel still bumping up under the polish. Looks like a mess. I wanted a small decoration on my toe, but couldn't ask for what I wanted, or in the color I wanted. I used to like this place under the old ownership. I will not bother to be a repeat customer any more. There are lots of other places to go that will treat me much nicer, do a better job, and can actually communicate clearly. You can tell they like to concentrate on artificial nails here, and could not care less about doing pedicures it seems. It definitely was not a "spa" experience in any way! On the positive side, I guess I can say they were fast, and everything looked pretty clean. But definitely a hard pass on returning for another pedicure. :( read more

Very nice people but they do not do a very good job. Every time I have asked for coffin shape I've ended up with normal square nails, they leave acrylics super thick, don't make nails even with each other, and the nails are almost always crooked. This latest time I went, I ended up with some kind of bacterial infection under one of my nails, so, never again. read more

One of my close friend recommend me this place and I am glad she did. This is one of the best nail salon I ever been to. It's under new ownership and I feel like I will be the regulars in coming days. Very professional, took their time for me for my pedicure while suggesting what will be beneficial for my type of skin and they have this new Korean gel pedicure which I absolutely loved it. My feet's are thanking me as I work in hospital standing for whole day and of course in a budget. One of the worst pedicures I've ever received. The nail tech slathered on just one layer of polish and expected me to be on w this when it clearly looked terrible. On top of that, when she was removing my previous polish, she dumped the nail polish remover into the water that my feet was soaking I so my skin started to burn. Then they didn't apply top coat even after I asked. And then when they tried to put my sandals on, they messed up the polish some more and had to redo. The redo polish looks grainy and HORRIBLE. On top of that I sat in the massage chair that had issues and zero lumbar support forcing me to be hunched over and gave me a headache. Also, their towels are dirty and all stained. I still tipped 15% out of politeness but am super disappointed and grossed out by this place. read more

I popped in at 10:30 without an appointment and was the first one there. Told them I had a hair appointment at the salon next door in an hour and asked if they could they do a pedicure and some gel nails in that time. They said no problem. They asked about waxing, and said I had time. The waxing was quick, not painful and perfect. Three women worked with me on my hands and feet. They upsold me like champions and surprisingly (not what I've usually experienced elsewhere) joined enthusiastically in the conversation I struck up with another client. It made the whole experience pleasant and welcoming. My hands and feet look and feel great and they had me finished with 15 minutes to spare! The best part is that 2 hours after my hair appointment (the first time I've EVER left a salon in tears), the ladies at Sammi's recognized me getting into my car and all 3 rushed out to ask what was wrong, how they could help, invited me back into their salon to take care of me and hear why I was upset. Truly above and beyond any care/service I've ever experienced from a walk-in first time nail salon. Huge thank you to them for making my day so much better. read more

Called the salon to see if they could fit in two pedi's and mani's. She said to come on in and we were seated and taken care of right away. They had the water ready for us at the pedi station, it was luke warm but I didnt mind. I got my feet taken care of the same time Sammi did my nails. I tried dipping technique for the first time, and apparently they use a little different method. I have never done dip before, so I dont have anything to compare it to, but it looks great. The ladies took great care of me and I think it was Sammi, who was extra friendly and talkative to me which was nice. I received the "gold pedicure" which, to me isn't worth the price. I'd probably stick to the silver or the basic one. Overall, not a bad experience for being a walk in. read more

She cut my nails down so bad that she cut deep into my actual nail. I had horrible lifting and I had to take them off. It's been a month and my nails are still healing. I was shocked on how bad the quality was being in Mill Creek. . P.s yes it was your salon..I have your business card and everything. It just took me a while to review you guys. I wanted to like this place. The staff was really nice. There were 4 of us and when we came in they already had three people in Spa chairs and two more at the main stations. There were only 3 techs. We were greeted right away, so I asked if we could get in for pedis and one mani. It was only going to be a 10 minute wait, so I figured they must've been wrapping up with the other clients. We were seated and I started to realize that the three techs were rotating between customers. Makes sense if someone has to soak or cure for 20 minutes, I guess. However, as more people came in, they still kept quoting 10 minutes and now some of the people that were there before our group were starting to complain about the duration of their service. Anyway, in the end, the quality of the work suffered tremendously. Nails were cut but not filed, so jagged spots remained. Polish was messy. Never received a top coat. And, this was on a "Gold" service, so their second to top service offering. One of the other members of our party had to have her polish done over (techs determination) and ended up being serviced by all three techs at one point because they couldn't get the gel to set. At one point they seemed unsure if the polish was truly gel. Then they blamed the light machine (low battery) and even after that, they redid it once more, at which point we were so over the whole service. To top it off, they charged a $20 premium for the gel polish. I started thinking that maybe they were just better at manis, but that service was rushed and sloppy too. They even burned my mother's finger with the Dremmel because they were grinding too close to her skin. There was color all over her cuticles and one finger appeared matte instead of glossy like the others. I asked for a top coat on that nail because it totally stood out, but was told it was just left over oil. If that was the case, it would have washed off. Nope. They seemed to have regulars come in, so maybe they were just overwhelmed and under staffed that day, but if that is the case, then they should not have kept accepting more walk-ins. Again, they were really nice, but absolutely not worth it. Not one of the four of us were even remotely happy with our service. read more

After a couple of acrylic fills at Sammi, the sweet ladies suggested I try dips. I was the ULTIMATE skeptic, but just decided to give it a shot for a couple of weeks. Y'all....I fell in LOVE! The length, the color, the quality service from the ladies here. My nails from Sammi Nails last longer than ANY mani/pedi/acrylic fill I've ever had. Women ask me daily where I get my nails done. She proceeded to cut my nails very short before I could say anything. Then she filed my nail beds down to the point of them throbbing. Once she put the sip on she filed them even more.
