Their Sourdough bread is so good, it should come with a warning: "May cause uncontrollable bread cravings!" But hold your horses, folks, because I must warn you about the "Great Harvest Shuffle." Yes, you'll wait up to 20 minutes for your food to arrive. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Twenty minutes? That's like an eternity in bread years!" But fear not, my fellow bread enthusiasts, because when that plate finally lands in front of you, it's like a slice of heaven descended upon your order. My. Yum! I use to be a regular here, but since the change of owners things are no longer great for me. I have been seeing a decline in food quality and cleanliness. This last time was when I decided I would no longer visit, which truthfully makes me so sad because I love their bread. This use to be one of my favorite places in Temecula. The girl giving out samples was picking and eating the bread samples she was serving, I was shocked because it was in plain sight as I was ordering in line. The same girl eating on the line did not remove/trash the gloves she used at the register to collect money. I sent great Harvest a private Yelp message for a heads up, but did not hear back from them. I am hoping they are just in transition and I will gladly remove and update my review if I hear they have implemented new training policies. This company is run by functional morons. It must be nice to be the ONLY company that makes what they make. This is the ONLY reason they are in business. If any other company made this type of bread, Great Harvest would be out of business that same day. When you have a product that sells out in ONE DAY that you only make once a week, and the management never considers serving its clients in a better way by making more or making it more often, that is where I simply ban the three families that our in our homes from ever shopping here. We love the food at the Great Harvest Bread Company Temecula. But on November 5th, 2020, 3:36 pm, there were no customers and 2 men working. One was sweeping towards the food preparation area and when I entered he parked the broom and went to make food. But he did not wash his hands and when I commented about him the person at the register said, "well he is going to wear gloves." This is not acceptable!!!! We expect the very best health practices at Great Harvest!!! We hope management initiates better sanitation practices at this establishment. read more

The bread here at great harvest is outstanding. Often when you walk in there are fresh loaves you can get while they are still warm. The cinnamon burst bread is excellent for french toast especially with maple syrup, also it goes well with coconut butter and regular butter. If you want healthy they have many selections of whole grains coupled with berries or nuts. Then to top this off they have wide selection of things to compliment their breads as well as a lunch option. Makes me smile ever time I come in... read more

Stopped by Great Harvest Bread Co. for a quick breakfast on our way to Las Vegas, and it did not disappoint! The breakfast panini was delicious--fresh, warm, and packed with flavor. Great bakery with a variety of breads and pastries. Know that bread doesn't really come out until 11am with sliced break available at 1pm. The portions are huge and quality is excellent. The Zucchini Bread was tasty and made with whole wheat flour. I had the wrong idea that all the baked goods here used whole grain flour. Most don't, which is fine. I've been there five times and all five times they screwed up my order. The teenagers making the sandwiches are brain dead. There is no supervision so nobody cares. There is no quality control.
