I really, really wanted to love Lemon Bar Bakery because I'd been seeing it all over TikTok. Their videos are adorable, and everything in the display case looked incredible. We stopped in after lunch around 3:00 p.m. and spent about $30 on desserts. We tried a slice of red velvet cake, a red velvet cookie, two chocolate chip cookies, a tiramisu cupcake, and a salted caramel espresso cupcake. Unfortunately, the desserts didn't live up to how amazing they looked. The standout was the tiramisu cupcake. It was the best thing we tried, although it seemed like it was just starting to dry out. Still, it was enjoyable. The red velvet cake, however, was the driest slice of cake I've ever had. It was incredibly dry. The chocolate chip cookies had a slightly burnt taste around the edges, which was disappointing, and the red velvet cookie was very crunchy with none of the soft, chewy texture I was expecting. Overall, it was pretty mediocre. Lastly the Salted Caramel espresso cupcake was so overpowering felt like I was chewing coffee. Yuk To be fair, we visited around 3:00 p.m., so it's possible the desserts weren't as fresh as they are earlier in the day. That may have played a role in our experience. I hate leaving negative reviews because I know running a bakery isn't easy, and I genuinely wanted this place to be amazing. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I don't think I'll be back. read more

Having read reviews about this spot, we took the plunge this morning due to it's close proximity to Costco and our curiosity. Upon arrival we received a warm reception and ordered a couple of drip coffees , a Lemon Strawberry Scone and a Chai Tea Cupcake. The scone was tasty and the cupcake was adequate to say the most, but the huge surprise was the cost of the pastries for mediocre products. My cupcake was a third of the size of a normal cupcake, two thirds of this tiny thing was frosting, and it was like $5. I was not fond of the coffee because it was sour and cream couldn't rescue it. Being a lemon lover, I had to try this new gem in town. It's a bit smaller and I was surprised how packed it was for a Saturday after 11am. My drink was a tea and I could taste every flavor it included. It was very refreshing. I just wish I could of got a bigger size. My quiche was sooo good. Lemon and leeks with a flaky crust. I would buy a full size of that. I took one star off because like I said its smaller inside, and most of the seating is meant for two besides one larger booth in the back. I was excited to try this place after my friend recommended it, as I've been looking for new coffee/Matcha places in Temecula, but was disappointed. I got the Matcha with brown sugar cold foam and it came out super light, it was so chunky I've never experienced that in a drink before so I know they didn't mix well and didn't take their time with it. We were excited to try out the new coffee/bakery in town. It's a small space with limited seating, so cute and cozy. We ordered the orange cardamom brioche, and cinnamon roll. Along with a vanilla latte. The latte was made well and not overly sweet, which was perfect in my book. It paired well with the sweet rolls. We chose Lemon Bar for our wedding cake and desserts after struggling to find a bakery that was both reasonably priced AND invested in our wedding (as opposed to just making money). Isaac and Hot Jenay were wonderful to work with and kept the process fun and lighthearted. We loved their story and were thrilled with all of the flavors we tasted during our cake tasting. They created a delicious three-tiered wedding cake for us as well a hundreds of desserts for our guests: chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, and millionaire bars. We got SO many compliments from everyone! Can't wait to eat our top tier on our one year anniversary! I think they can warm pastries, but it wasn't offered. This may be the only negative about our visit, but we also made it clear we were taking items to go. Everything was perfectly balanced with delicious flavors I don't usually find anywhere else. The orange cardamom brioche was an absolute favorite with a sweet and savory profile. Since it didn't overpower with sugar, it was so easy to keep biting into even when I was full. I had Lemon Bar Bakery as my vendor for my May 2026 wedding at Falkner Winery and WOW they did such an amazing job!! They displayed all of the desserts so beautifully and our wedding cake was gorgeous. Their desserts tastes super homemade and use high quality ingredients, you can tell this is from a local bakery that knows what they're doing. We got complimented all night long on how good everything tasted. We did mini desserts and ordered 3 per person which was the perfect amount. We definitely had some leftovers but not a crazy amount! Jenay and Isaac were super responsive throughout the entire process and our tasting was so fun! Highly highly recommend them if you are having a wedding in the Temecula area. P.S. they just opened a storefront in Temecula and it's a super cute bakery coffee shop! I tried sending the business a DM as to not put them in the public in a bad way but have not received a response. I came here last Friday and got a passion fruit matcha and cinnamon roll. The matcha was completely separated and clumpy. The cinnamon roll was clearly old and SO hard. I noticed there was a tray of what looked like fresh cinnamon rolls in the front and right behind it was a tray with a single squished older looking cinnamon roll that I honestly thought was just scraps. When I got home I realized the girl at the front had given me the old scrap cinnamon roll. I understand they are a small business and need to make a profit but please always keep customer experience top of mind. I would have loved to enjoy this experience and become a regular but unfortunately will not be returning. Also, not to harp on the experience too much but also the girl working the front was not very kind. After paying, I had asked if she had gotten the matcha because I genuinely didn't know if she remembered I ordered it and she didn't say anything like "you're matcha will be out soon" after checking out. So I asked and she looked at me with the rudest face and pointed at another girl and said "ya that's what she's doing now" and laughed in a very rude and snarky way. Not only was it delicious, but the experience itself was something our guests loved. Having the cake built at the reception was such a unique touch, and we loved being able to have our song playing while adding the powdered sugar at the end. It made the cake cutting feel interactive and personal instead of just another wedding tradition. What a nice place! The inside is Soo cute and the treats are delicious. I had the hot cocoa brioche and the cinnamon roll...both very good. The cost is a bit steep but worth it imo. Almost $6 for the brioche and almost $7 for the cinnamon roll. Parking is great, location right across from Panera. Customer service this morning was amazing...very friendly and welcoming... smiling! Always a plus. I want to come back And try their other desserts because their cake slices look amazing! I love trying new places in our town and supporting small businesses. Decided to stop in to pick up just one cinnamon roll and see if it would meet my expectations. Wow! Yes it definitely did. Once I entered I had a good feeling about this cute little bakery. Isaac helped me decide what I wanted beyond just the cinnamon roll. He kindly explained a little about their shop and was so nice. The yellow tables and chairs outside caught my attention when I went to interpret to a medical center just next to this coffee shop/bakery. So I had to enter and give it a try! I like how quiet the place was, nice mellow decor with plenty of inside and outside space, tables not totally occupied by the laptop campers, just a couple, natural plants and great coffee. I was not impressed with my scone, it was hard and didn't have any flavor, even though looked very nice on display. I will go back when in the area. Very comfortable and peaceful too.
