Great Harvest definitely was one of the highlights of my kids morning. The ladies use to be so nice and friendly. Kristen, Danielle were always so kind and wonderful. Unfortunately they're are a few other ladies that work there that are so rude. We will no longer be going in for sandwiches nor their wonderful samples. Kim is just so rude the way she speaks to our kids is unacceptable. Also we clean the tables up after the kids because of the crumbs. Apparently not good enough, Luc or Adriana I believe is her name, continues to tell us to clean up after ourselves. Which I'm mind blown by this customer service. Isn't that there job to wipe down the tables. Don't get me wrong, I always clean up our mess sometimes I'll even get on the floor. I had stopped going there due to the way I was being talked to as well as treated. I gave in to the kids yesterday and today and let them go in there and they decided to scold me about the crumbs once again. I walked out and never will return. Popped in to check it out and walked out with way more deliciousness than planned. Cinnamon swirl bread was a huge hit with the kiddos. Nice balance of sweet soft moist bread to delicious cinnamon swirls. Also picked up some tea's and a couple of soups. The Tomato Basil soup was a HUGE hit. I thought I loved this place. I've gotten their tea cakes several times usually get the pumpkin spice decided to do the chocolate chip pumpkin. Got it home ate some of it. It was very dry. Called the bakery to ask them if the date on the bottom was the expiration or baked date she explained it is the baked date, and I explained to her that it was not fresh tasting, and she handed me off to someone else who I had explained the same thing and then she said oh I'm sorry, and there was a silence and then she said well if you want to bring it in, we can talk about it then I'm thinking of myself. I just paid $10 for this cake, and I was expecting her to say oh no problem go ahead and bring it in and will give you a new one, BUT it was go ahead and bring it in and we'll have to take a look at it and see if there's something we can do I mean come on talk about horrible customer service specially when you're charging $10 for a small tea cake loaf then I asked her if she was a manager and she said I'm in a "manager position" and if you want to go ahead and bring it in we can see what we can do from there and I said that's not what I was expecting to hear. I was expecting to hear bring it in and we'll take care of you do the right thing but nowadays who knows sad to say I love supporting local businesses, but if they don't support me back, how can I be a loyal customer?!??? Update the owner Kim responded as everyone can read below which I understand. It's hard to find good employees that run our businesses when we're not there. We all know no one's perfect. The breads are always fresh and the people who work at the Horizon Ridge location are always kind and courteous. Same with the Marks location. The ambiance is simple and there are nice little gifts of dried soups, jams, syrups etc, you can buy while at both locations. I've been a Great Harvest fan since middle school. It is a chain or franchise but I love it! They have baked goods, pastries, and sandwiches! They're famous for their breads that are served with soft butter! It's just really simple and fresh and done well. It's nice to grab a sweeter bread for your sweet cravings and their savory breads for sandwiches or just a slather of butter. My favorite thing about Great Harvest are the sandwiches! They have about 8 classic recipes or combinations of sandwich fixings. I don't know why they do but they're so unassuming and not overstuffed but so so good! I always get the Italian one. I am a sandwich person and I crave their sandwiches. The sandwiches are totally customizable and you can get sides like a cookie or some soup. The people who work at this location are so nice. They're just well mannered and polite. They communicate well and that goes a long way. It's always clean and the welcoming and homey vibe is hard to fake. Friday afternoon rushed over here as all the sweet things I was picking up at Sprouts had some sort of ingredient I didn;t want. Was greeted so nicely and offered a huge slice of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread-- needless to say I bought a loaf and can't wait to enjoy it with my coffee or tea! Ate here for the first time and I was blown away by their customer service. The woman at the front treated me with such kindness and even offered me a slice of bread with BUTTER while I wait. I love bread so I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. I ordered a combo 1/2 Vegas Veggie sandwich and a cup of their tomato garlic soup! I got it grilled but it was more toasted so next time I'll go for not toasted to feel the softness of the bread. Their tomato garlic was creamy with sundried tomatoes and tangy!! So flavorful! After I was done I wanted to Yelp this business because of their outstanding hospitality and that's when I noticed their free cookie deal for checking-in. So that is a bonus! My husband and I stopped there before heading to Lake Mead. First time in. We were so impressed. The ladies working were super sweet and helpful. We received a free sample of bread and butter. So delicious. My husband ordered the turkey pesto and I ordered the Italian. We opted in for the combo and receive cookies and a drink. It was on their Yelp page and I have done it before. Have not been here for a while and they have new people working here so when I came in today, they guy behind the counter explained the process. They have a menu you can select pre-made items from or you can build your own sandwich. They also have salads and soups. One thing the guy brought my attention to was a menu of what they bake and when they bake it. Today being Friday the option is a cheddar cheese bread....I inquired about this bread to which he explained the 3 different loafs they make and then proceeds to tell me they don't have it because it has not been delivered??? Why explain an entire process and then say oh we don't have it today? Also I ordered a sandwich that the menu CLEARLY says is grilled and when I got home my sandwich was not grilled...food preparation is not rocket science and I did not ask for anything to be done that was not on the menu yet it was still wrong. read more

One of our favorite places to grab lunch! The service is always super friendly and fast and their breads and pastries are sooo delicious! My favorites are Cinnamon Swirl, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, Cinnaburst, and Hummus Wheat. They have a list of their daily breads baked for each day of the week. These are available as whole loaves. You can also customize any sandwich. The staff is very friendly. If you buy a loaf and want it sliced up and bagged, just ask. This location has been giving a free giant, and I mean GIANT cookie with your Yelp check-in. They're nice and soft, YUM. Even more sugary carbs. It's pumpkin bread season! Well in our household, it's pumpkin bread no matter what season. It's great we can count on Great Harvest to have the yummy super moist, pumpkiny loaves ready every day. Breads are baked daily and most are on the rack by 6am when they open. They feature several different breads. All of the ones I get are always super soft and tasty. On Saturdays make sure you get here early! Since it's closed on Sunday, every mom is here stocking up. By late afternoon the racks are wiped out! We know, because we have been SOL twice now! The young staff working up front are always friendly and polite. They always remind me to get my card punched. You can find Great Harvest booth at Farmers Market, Fridays at Henderson Pavilion. The store itself is more on the country charm side. There are a couple tables so you can have your sandwich there. They carry jams and miscellaneous stuff perfect for last minute gifts. --Cost-- a little more than traditional grocery stores, but I am fine with that. Quality ingredients, made from scratch. You get a punch card and rewarded after so many visits. Anytime you come here, they feed and fatten you up offering a slice (more like a hunk) of bread and butter. If you have the Yelp app, make sure you check in and get the large cookie! So free cookie, plus complimentary slice of bread.. with butter and yummy pumpkin bread, makes it a no brainer picking up breads here for us. read more
