The food, out of this world good! You can taste the time & care that went into cooking the sauces and cooking their food perfectly. Plates were beautiful . The two people working were so pleasant, kind & sweet. I know I felt welcomed there. It is a small place so I recommend going before or after lunch. They take orders for pickup too. I hate to leave a glowing review for the Baguette Café because I don't want everyone encroaching upon my favorite spot, but...in all fairness if this was my business, I would want everyone to know!! They are the SIMPLY THE BEST! Everything I have ever tried, from the pastries, such as the chocolate almond croissant to the quiche, and all the coffees has been delicious! The staff at the counter is friendly and offer great service. They have cute, local items for sale, the last time I was there they had cute hats and crocheted, way to support the community. It's been a while since I have written a review for this place so thought I'd update my review. The blue brie with turkey is my go-to sandwich here and it's never steered me wrong. The bread from this place is always outstanding, too. SO good. I've been in there a few times to actually go there and get some coffee and work, too. It's a really cute spot (actually used to be a Starbucks) and has a pretty extensive patio attached to it, so you can sit outside if you'd like. The brie brie sandwich is so good because it also has walnuts on it, too, and it's a warm sandwich on the inside, which I love. It's so tasty. They also have homemade chips that come with it, too, and those are delightful always. Love this spot! It's definitely becoming one of my favorite sandwich places as of late. read more

Out running errands in Henderson on a warm spring morning and decided to get breakfast. Yelp photos of the Baguette Cafe patio were very inviting. In the northwest corner of the Smith's parking lot, no problem getting parking. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to your table. My wife got the blue cheese croissant omelette with extra bacon. I got the blue cheese croissant omelette with extra ham ($10.75 + $2 each). The sandwich comes out on an attractive plate with a small side salad. Nice presentation! Each of our sandwiches was absolutely delicious. We stopped by for the first time here for lunch due to a recommendation from a colleague. We got The Chipotle and The Pesto sandwiches. The Chipotle was great but The Pesto had more of a tomato sauce than pesto. I felt like it should have had more pesto if it's name is The Pesto. The service was great from the lady working but I tried asking for recommendations from the guy at the register when ordering, and he just said he didn't know and it was personal preference. I walked in for lunch and had a few parties ahead, the line moved quickly because of a super knowledgeable, friendly, cashier. Seriously the people here are so nice and welcoming! I got the turkey sandwich and the baguette that comes on it was fresh and the perfect combo of chewy and crunchy! The ingredients were so fresh and I love the lettuce was a spring mix. It came with a bag of crunchy chips, and I got an iced green tea to drink which was cold and refreshing. I also had 2 pastries that were so delicious I forgot to photograph them! The almond pastry and their version of a sugar cookie, light and flaky, so good! This is a really cute place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating! I also noticed that there was a little part of the cafe that had a small business rack selling super cute crocheted items! I had asked the person at the register what they recommended in terms of teas, and they were really enthusiastic about the Tropical Coconut Oolong, and though I am not a huge earthy drink person, I decided to try it, and I really enjoyed it! The coconut sweetens the oolong, and though it is just a little bit earthy, it was mostly a floral flavor. I ordered The Pesto Sandwich with mushrooms, and it was really good. I can't say enough good things about this quaint little café. It's comfortable, stylish and very clean. All of the staff that I have met so far are all very polite and friendly. It's next to Eastern Ave in the Smith's parking lot. It also has a HUGE patio with a pergola to filter the harsh Vegas sun. I hope you all come and fill this patio. Today Alex served me an amazing breakfast sandwich (Croissant Omelet) that came with an arugula salad and a lovely homemade dressing. The salad was a nice surprise as it isn't listed on the menu. The eggs were so fluffy, MMMM!!! The sandwich would be even better with a thicker/smokier bacon. Having said that, I would buy it again as is. Absolutely solid spot for a nice lunch, specialty coffee or pastry, or just to catch up with a friend. The décor is simple but nicely adorned and cozy. The views of the snow-capped mountains in the winter is a beautiful sight as well. I ordered an iced lemongrass green tea, chocolate twist (warmed up of course), and the tuna salad on greens. Everything was absolutely delicious. I could've eat 5 of those twists and 10 of those salads. Everything was just bursting with flavor and tasted of quality and love. The thing I really loved about this place was the owner/manager. He made sure to speak to every customer, ask their name, and actually converse with them, not just make some fleeting comment as they ordered. It was really nice and something that I actually took note of. What's more is that when I left, over an hour after I ordered, he said goodbye to me BY NAME. He did this with everybody. It was insane and something I had never experienced before, especially at a more casual establishment. This attention to detail really stuck with me. I visited the Baguette Café several times and this is my first time writing a review. Everything is always fresh in terms of the pastries and breads. Today I ordered a two-egg omelet toast, which is really an open faced breakfast sandwich. This consisted of 2 eggs, cheese, pesto on a crispy baguette. My husband had a cheese and mushroom omelette on a fresh and flaky croissant. We both had roasted potatoes and a salad. The breakfast was light yet filling, fresh and prepared quickly. Walked here while waiting for my glasses to be made at J. Crimi. My friend ordered an omelet and I had a cup of tea. The omelet looked delicious and my friend enjoyed it. It came either Hu's choice of sides as well as a small salad. I had the Turmeric Ginger tea. It was brewed perfectly. They even save the tea leaves for a second cup! Baguette Cafe, you have been on my list of places to try for a long time. I paid a visit here after one of my camps, which is just down the street from this establishment. When I was in high school, this used to be a Starbucks. When it was still Starbucks, I would come here a few times before school and meet up with friends here after school to work on projects and other stuff. Now Baguette Cafe today, they are super easy to find right on the corner of Eastern and Horizon Ridge, with their large, spacious patio and noticeable signage. I walked in and was greeted by the friendly young lady running the register. She asked me if I've been here before and I told her that this was my first time here, with her response being a nice welcome to their cafe. She pointed out numerous food items that they had on display (i.e., quiche, chocolate tart) and handed me a menu for further available food and drink items. Of course I had to get myself a cup of coffee and I wanted to bring back a sandwich to have for lunch. I ordered myself a caramel latte and a tuna sandwich with chips on the side to take back with me. What I found interesting about this place is that they serve their sandwiches on a baguette sliced open. The caramel latte, which had no sugar added in, which I truly appreciated, really hit the spot after a workout. The tuna sandwich, which had hard boiled eggs (with yolk), tomatoes, and some leafy greens in the mix, was absolutely delicious. This was an excellent source of protein for me and a different experience compared to other tuna sandwiches I've had in the past. This was a great cafe to stop by for a coffee and a sandwich. I ordered The Blue Brie sandwich on a croissant which is my absolute favorite, however today it had no apples and only 1 slice of turkey with two large slices of Brie. It was not nice to eat. This sandwich usually has several slices of turkey, it was more of a Brie and mustard croissant sandwich :/ My husband's burrito fell apart the second he picked it up and just ended up eating it with fork and knife. I ordered the croissant omelet and added bacon, and a hot vanilla latte. The croissant was perfectly buttery and flaky. I was surprised with how fluffy and smooth the eggs were. I also loved the added tomato basil sauce. My vanilla latte was exquisite with rich espresso. The vanilla was not overpowering or too sweet, just how I like. It was me and my son's first time trying this café today. I keep seeing recommendations on Facebook groups about this place so we're very excited to try it! The whole restaurant is so nice from the inside and with their huge outdoor patio. The gentleman at the front was super friendly and welcoming. He was very helpful with what was very popular since it was our first time. We loved all of his recommendations! Everything came out in good timing and our server was great. It was around 3 PM so we had ordered late lunch. I was a bit disappointed with this place, honestly. Where to begin? The set up was a bit weird. You seat yourself, but have to grab a menu from the cash register before you sit and then you have to get back up to order your food from the cashier, but then the food is brought to your table..... I wanted to order the salmon croissant, but was told they were out of salmon; okay no big deal, so I decide on the tuna sandwich and asked if the bread came toasted on that sandwich. I was told no but that they could toast the bread for me, okay sounds good. When my food came to the table, I received scoops of tuna, on a bed of greens in a giant bowl accompanied by Kalamata olives, pickles, cherry tomatoes, a hard boiled egg, chopped celery, and slices cucumbers with a side of toast... it wasn't what I ordered, but I didn't wanna make a fuss or waste food so I assembled a sandwich and ate my food. The tuna salad itself was good. My bf ordered a breakfast burrito that had some sort of dressing IN the burrito, which was odd enough on its own but his order also came with a side salad covered in dressing, which was just an odd choice for a breakfast sandwich...? Similarly to the toppings on my tuna salad, my bf's order lacked a cohesiveness in the choices of ingredients. We ordered lattes and those were delicious. It is hard to find, since it's tucked away in the corner of the park lot, but after searching hard enough I found it. The quiche comes with a salad. The quiche had a perfect texture. It wasn't too rubbery or too soggy. Plenty of flavor. If I'm in the mood for quiche this is the place to go. They also have a littler bakery. I did not try the baked goods, but they sure looked good. Quick service and really good food! I was only confused by the ordering. When you walk in your see a large monitor with the menu items, so I thought you had to order there instead of at the counter. It is a very authentic french café place, I ordered the Smoked Salmon Croissant + soup of the day as a side i believe it was called Catalina soup, a Vanilla latte with added lavender and a chocolate Croissant (chocolatine). Everything was sooo good! I loved their smoked salmon croissant, the dill cream cheese topped it off ! Their bakeries are homemade in the cafe which is a plus, all fresh and delicious! The vanilla latte with lavender was also very unique and tasty, definitely tastes just like the lavender smell. Stopped by Baguette Cafe for breakfast on our way out of town. We were greeted by the friendly staff upon entering. Helpful, too! The menu offers coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, and more. They also have vegan options. The space offers plenty of seating indoor and out. The display case had some tempting treats, but we were immediately drawn to their huge quiches. Hubs and I each chose a quiche; I, the vegetable quiche and he, the quiche lorraine. I also ordered an oat milk latte. We ordered them to go with the intention of eating them in the car, but as soon as we received our food, we couldn't wait any longer. There are many options nearby, but don't for-guette this one. Baguette Cafe is a long-time local favorite that expanded to this Eastern Ave location last year. I've tried their original outpost in the southwest part of Las Vegas before, but it's quite literally been years since then and I needed a personal refresher. I was checking out their website, which encouraged me to sign up for their rewards program, earning me a 25% discount on a sandwich or salad. I went for the "Smoked Salmond" (sic) Croissant sandwich ($12 normally), which apparently comes with a lightly dressed salad. The salad is fine. The croissant is flaky and lightly buttery. The smoked salmon and dill cream cheese created that classic flavor combo, and the apple was a surprisingly nice touch. I have to mention the excellent service at this point. I actually decided to sit outside on their patio since it seemed like a nice day, and since my food was served very quickly, I was concerned about my drink and therefore went back inside to ask about it. At that point, a concerned kitchen employee told me "a bird is attacking your food!" I turned around to look and saw that he was correct. Then he immediately said that he'd remake my order for free, which I appreciated very much. Anyway, my iced Cafe Mocha w/ Toasted Almond and Caramel ($5.50) did arrive in due time. I liked it. It was quite chocolatey, with plenty of almond. The coffee was strong enough, and the drink didn't strike me as too sweet overall. However, it was certainly not at all compatible with the sandwich, which is probably my fault. I skipped out on the quiches (which are actually way bigger than I remembered/assumed) and the tarts/cheesecakes (at least one of which is priced $7, FYI), but I did order some other pastries to-go. The Palmier (~$4) was crunchy, sugary, and exceptionally buttery and is worth a revisit or ten. The various croissants aren't so great though. The Chocolate Croissant (~$4.50) is the semisweet chocolate-filled sibling of the regular croissant, and I did enjoy it although I felt that the chocolate ratio was a little low. The regular Croissant ($4) is the same as the one used for the sandwich, and I've had more buttery and flaky examples in town. The Raisin Croissant ($4.50) may be the best of the bunch. It also has light buttery character at best, but at least the raisins were potent in flavor. Baguette Cafe is a reasonable option for savory foods and coffee if you're in the area, although I'd personally lean toward other places with wider pastry selections if that's your jam. read more
