I'm not sure why I go to the same shopping plazas for the same places, but fail to visit other stores in the area. Today I ventured out and went to this little bakery found near Trader Joes. I ordered a quiche to go. I have to say, it's a cute little business with a nice outdoor patio space. I didn't have any coffee here. The desserts look delicious.

Great selection of pastries in a cute fun cafe. The workers are always friendly. If you get a chance, try their hazelnut dream. It tastes exactly what it sounds like.

Wow! Hands down best coffee shop in the city!!! Every single pastry here was so unbelievably fresh, flavorful and scrumptious! We tried basically everything. The flakiest croissants I've ever had! Pure perfection! The coffees were also so delicious! We had the tiramisu, the Dubai, and the white chocolate. They were not only pretty but so so good! Sitting outside made for a perfect afternoon. We will be back for sure!

LOVED it all!! Decided to stop by and grab some various pastries/tarts to try at home, and this place was sooo good! It is super cute, and has an adorable patio setup, tucked into the corner of the shopping center. We were greeted immediately by the display of fresh baked treats and couldn't wait to try them all. They had a buy 10, get 2 free deal, and you don't have to tell me twice that I should try more. We truly enjoyed them all - our favorites were the lemon tart, berries and cream, creme brûlée and quiches. And you can tell their Nutella is freshly made there - so damn good! I will say they're not inexpensive, but they were worth it.

Finally tried this place out that is next to Trader Joe's. When you come inside, you're transported into France. The whole decor is French, the furnitures and the wall mural. One side of the cafe has the baker, decorating the desserts, and the other side is the main hub. We ordered the lobster sandwich, breakfast sandwich, bueno croissant, and hazelnut white mocha. All were so delicious and wonderful. The workers are all French and they explain everything to you. They are so nice! Definitely a place to come and enjoy a French ambiance.

La Tropezienne French Bakery is a cute little spot to crab a light brunch or coffee. We were greeted immediately and served fairly quickly. Very nice employees and we ordered a tuna salad and breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was decent, and the side salad it came with had a nice soft dressing. The tuna salad was also good although we would have preferred a boiled egg, sliced, instead of a fried egg. All in all, nice place and will return!

I love coming to this bakery/cafe for both take out and enjoying their cute outdoor area with a coffee. The pastries are always amazing and I recently had a turkey and Brie sandwich on the baguette and that was amazing too! I love the different croissants and danishes and just had the tiramisu danish the last time I was in and it was absolutely perfect. I can't say enough nice things about La Tropezienne because everything has always been phenomenal! If you haven't been here yet, you need to come and enjoy!

Absolutely LOVE their comfortable and picturesque dining patio. The inside is just as beautifully themed as well. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are a bit on the high side, but reason being is that it's said that all their pastries and sandwiches are 100% homemade, prepared fresh daily, and premium ingredients used are imported from France. Also, be aware that if you're paying by card, a surcharge is applied to your bill. Pay with cash to avoid that fee.

Excellent Millefeuille (Napoleon pastry), the best I've had this side of the Atlantic. Chocolate croissant was good, coffee as well. The young lady behind the counter was just lovely!

I was awe struck when I walked in because of how beautiful they created the space. They brought the outdoors indoors with the decorations and the open space. The owners and staff are very friendly! And even the customers raved about the pastries and baguettes and they had so many recommendations for us to try. Everything looked delicious! And we were certainly making plans to return even before trying anything! We definitely want to try the crêpes next time we go! However, on this visit, we tried the breakfast sandwich, the almond raspberry pistachio croissant and the crème brûlée croissant as well as some specialty coffees! And I have to say that everything was delicious, but most of all it was recognized that the flakiness and buttery croissant was a showstopper! The raspberry almond pistachio croissant was amazing and the sandwich definitely had the best flavor flavors with the ham and bacon and the fried egg combination! We will definitely be returning to try many wonderful delicious gems for dessert. The staff did give us a free treat at the end, which was amazing as well. Go try it!

I found this place because I wanted a small dessert for my daughter's birthday and came across these beautiful desserts. I got the lemon tart, blueberry raspberry tart, french cheesecake and the choco suisse. The crust on the tarts were butter and flaky, it was DELICIOUS. The lemon tart was the perfect amount of tart and sweet. The blueberry raspberry tart was yummy too. My daughters devoured all the fresh fruit and the custard wasn't overly sweet. It was perfect. The french cheesecake had a different texture than regular cheesecake but it was flavorful and delicious. The choco suisse was crispy and not too much filling. Needless to say, we enjoyed everything that we got. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were patient too because it was REALLY hard to decide on the treats. There were a lot of people coming in for lunch. It would definitely be a cute place to have a catch up session with my girlfriends.

OMG!!!! Is all I can say, ok l, I can say more. Lol make a mad dash to this place. Not only are the owners are amazing but the pastries especially the cheesecake is to die for. The coffee my goodness, i asked for a cafe mocha with whipped cream he talked me into not getting the whipped cream. That coffee was the best I've ever had. The croissant lobster sandwich yum yum. We got to meet the pastry chef as we had to tell him how amazing the pastries were and he bakes for both stores. We didn't want to be greedy so we left went to the other store and met the owners dad and son and ordered more pastries. Lol. That store was a bit smaller in the Summerlin area but still nice. For sure our go to for pastries and food and coffee. And he will be opening other locations soon. We will come back as often as we can. Love this place.

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

CREPES, COFFEE AND MORE…read more.. I went to this French cafe over a week ago to try to get a crepe to go. It was not overly busy. It's very casual and easy to order at the counter and go. Think again. I got through the line quickly. Placed my order and watched everyone around me receive their food, dine and leave within 30 minutes all while I was still standing at the front waiting for 1 gluten free crepe with fruit. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I asked the cashier if she remembered me and she said my order would be ready momentarily. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

Lindsay, my sister, sent me pictures months ago showing me what she wanted and those pictures were sent to Darlene. Very simple, no frills, black, flat top, chocolate cake with smooth sides. Ive seen the pictures on her site,so I know she could do this. If she couldn't, she shouldve done a practice run and at least given Lindsay more than a few hours notice before dropping a bomb on what should be the happiest day of someones life. This is so insanely unprofessional! Honestly, a refund is not even enough for doing that to someone on their wedding day! I spent the day before the wedding calling every single bakery in Las Vegas, willing to pay double to get her something to be able to cut with her husband on her happy day and it was too short of notice. Not only did Darlene not apologize, she tried to pass off a bulbous, over decorated cake that looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture, saying "here's your gorgeous cake". When Lindsay expressed that it wasnt even remotely close to what they discussed, she took no accountability, offered no solution and simply said, "it can't be changed, sweetheart". Upon further conversations, she said she would "try" to make something else. At $350 for flour and sugar, it should look exactly like the picture. It honestly probably took more work to make what she presented than what Lindsay actually wanted. As a small business owner myself, I know mistakes happen, but I also know the importance of customer service, making things right and taking accountability. Word to the wise, maybe do a test run first to ensure your wedding day isn't ruined if you choose to work with Darlene.
