I was looking for something on the way from Lake Las Vegas as I was heading home toward LA. I am so glad I did. This was so good and was also quick (breakfast spots can sometimes take forever). With that being said, I will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy the full experience. My wife, my kids, and I all loved it and for the first time in my life, I actually ordered more things to bring home and ate them later that night. I will go here anytime I am in the area and it is worth going out of your way for! I wish I would have taken pics, but I had the creme brûlée (not sure if it was a croissant or danish), my kids had the bueno croissant and my wife had the almond croissant. I also got the lemon tart to go. Quick note, as others have mentioned, it isn't cheap. My wife and I take a walk and visit this place about once a month. My go to is the Almond, Pistachio, raspberry croissant and my wife's is the lemon tart. A little pricy but WHEN I TELL YOU - every bite is worth every penny! We've never been let down and usually talk about how good whatever we ate for the rest of day! Ordered "iced" double espresso, came out hot. Raspberry-blueberry tart was fine... Price listed $8.95, but price came out $9.25 on the check. Need to update prices to match. Overall bill was $52.35. I tried their cheesecake & green drink. Cheesecake was OK, I feel like I should have gotten their berry croissant instead. The green drink was horrible - it was listed in the coffee section but had no coffee in it. I was very disappointed as it just tasted like liquid mint chocolate chip ice cream (which is fine!) but it should not be in the same section as their coffees. It is super cute, and has an adorable patio setup, tucked into the corner of the shopping center. We were greeted immediately by the display of fresh baked treats and couldn't wait to try them all. Finally tried this place out that is next to Trader Joe's. When you come inside, you're transported into France. The whole decor is French, the furnitures and the wall mural. One side of the cafe has the baker, decorating the desserts, and the other side is the main hub. We ordered the lobster sandwich, breakfast sandwich, bueno croissant, and hazelnut white mocha. I love coming to this bakery/cafe for both take out and enjoying their cute outdoor area with a coffee. The pastries are always amazing and I recently had a turkey and Brie sandwich on the baguette and that was amazing too! I was awe struck when I walked in because of how beautiful they created the space. They brought the outdoors indoors with the decorations and the open space. The owners and staff are very friendly! And even the customers raved about the pastries and baguettes and they had so many recommendations for us to try. Everything looked delicious! And we were certainly making plans to return even before trying anything! We definitely want to try the crêpes next time we go! However, on this visit, we tried the breakfast sandwich, the almond raspberry pistachio croissant and the crème brûlée croissant as well as some specialty coffees! I found this place because I wanted a small dessert for my daughter's birthday and came across these beautiful desserts. I got the lemon tart, blueberry raspberry tart, french cheesecake and the choco suisse. The crust on the tarts were butter and flaky, it was DELICIOUS. The lemon tart was the perfect amount of tart and sweet. The blueberry raspberry tart was yummy too. My daughters devoured all the fresh fruit and the custard wasn't overly sweet. It was perfect. The french cheesecake had a different texture than regular cheesecake but it was flavorful and delicious. The choco suisse was crispy and not too much filling. Needless to say, we enjoyed everything that we got. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were patient too because it was REALLY hard to decide on the treats. Went to this cute French bakery this morning and it did not disappoint! I ordered takeout through Yelp and asked my husband to run in and pick up the order- he texted me that they were almost done packing up the food, but suggested I come inside to get a whiff of all the delicious baked goods.. no only did it smell so lovely, it's also so cute inside! I have been wanting to try this French bakery since I first saw the patio a couple of years ago. The patio was incredibly cute and very inviting. A beautiful morning, not too hot, not too cold with the sun shining, seemed to be a perfect day to give it a try. You have to go inside and order at the counter. They will then bring the food out to you. My wife and I decided to share the croque monsieur ($13.41) and the egg croissant sandwich with ham ($17.57). The croque monsieur came with a small side salad. Each of the sandwiches were a bit on the greasy side, but both were absolutely delicious. So cute ambience and tasty food - why only three stars? We started off sitting on the patio in one of the booths. The booth is a wooden plank for a seat and a wooden plank for a back. Within a couple of minutes of sitting at the booth, I was so uncomfortable. I tried sitting at one of the other tables that had a metal chair. While it wasn't quite as uncomfortable as the wooden booth, there is no way that I would be able to sit long enough and enjoy a meal. So we opted to move inside. The inside is quite lovely. The aroma of the pastries is delightful. Unfortunately the inside seating is only a small step up from the outside seating. All of the chairs inside are metal with no padding. While not quite as uncomfortable as the outside chairs, after a few minutes these too became quite uncomfortable. While it's quite possible that I am a crotchety old curmudgeon with not enough padding on his tush, for me the discomfort of the seating means that I will not be able to go back and I can't recommend Dining in to any of my friends. It's located in the corner of a shopping center with Trader Joe's. Fun back story, my husband and I actually met at this business nearly 13 years ago when it was Crepe Shack. I love that it is once again a French spot, so of course I had to order crepes to celebrate. I got the nutella one with strawberry, and then a macchiato to drink. My husband got an omelette. When we were ordering, the owner was telling us that we should eat the omelette with the salad on the side, since they make their dressing in house from scratch. I love that! They have sooo many pastries, too, of course because it is a bakery. There's seating inside and outside, and all the furniture is that metal furniture you would expect to find on a patio, which I think gives this place the cutest character. I definitely want to come back here again when it's cooler out and sit on the patio.
