I was pleasantly surprised at all the designer brands they had. Everything is in really good condition unlike some other consignment stores. I bought a beautiful brown dolce and gabbana jacket and a black jitrois leather blazer. Didn't even looked tried on.. I got both for under $600.. The staff had a snotty attitude. I tried to sell my clothes and was told I didn't have brands that they carry then offered a $25.00 sorry we couldn't buy your clothes coupon. However, while they were looking over my items I noticed they did carry Tory Burch, Moschino, Furla, Lanvin, Christian Lacroix, all brands that I had brought to sell. Over priced for a second hand store. $48.00 for an Ella Moss top. You easily get this item at another thrift store for $8.00. read more

This place has a very snooty vibe. After checking out the website to see how it works to consign with them, I decided to walk in with a pair of Jason Wu heels and Jeffrey Campbell boots (like new, worn once). The lady at the counter told me that new consignors must have at least 6 items in order to consign. NOWHERE on their site does it say this. I truly felt that I was being discriminated against because I'm a black girl, and was wearing a college sweatshirt and jeans. They have so many pretty clothes here! Would have stayed here forever if I could. And very well organized too. Most are pricey, but they are in great condition, and of course they are top brands. Came in from Boston for a quick business trip and found Great Labels on Yelp. I'm a big fan of a great consignment store, and by that I mean I love a place that has truly good fashion pieces (read: an edited selection) that's not so high-brow that you get a nose bleed. So right in the middle - luxe but accessible. I sure found what I was looking for. First, I hit the store during a sale and the sale was great. Got a label-cut-out-of-it dress that was incredibly well tailored/cut/sewn for $30. But I also got a seemingly brand new Mui Mui hobo for $399. And a great pair of Tory Burch tailored dark wash jeans ($40), a St. John top that was new ($39) and a Robert Clergerie shoes (gorgeous - about $110, I believe). Obviously I hit this place right. Wonderful selection, ranging from the Classic Chanel suits to gorgeous YSL evening gowns. The delicacy Nina owes to details is pitch-perfect: She arranges all her items according to size, and her staff is eager to help. If you are a fan of denim, this is a must-go! They have many different washes, brands, and lengths. The best bargain I got was a pair of dark-washed Lucky jeans for $17! This place is more suited to customers aged 25+. The clothing and styles represented here are sophisticated (i.e. no American Apparel effect here), and is a far cry from Wasteland and other consignment shops the under-25 populous frequent. A friend mentioned shopping here some time ago and I'd always meant to drop in and check it out, but I live in the Valley and Santa Monica is a bit of a drive. Sorry I waited so long. This is one of the greatest upscale consignment shops ever. So far I've found some of my all time favorite pieces in this shop. The prices are great and I was helped out by the very friendly and professional April. I think she's going to be my 'go to' girl for advice and help with amazing deals. My favorite store. If you like Jimmy choo, LV, Gucci, Christian Dior etc, this is the place to be, this is a consignment store so it's not cheap but it's cheaper than Nieman Marcus. Great deals, amazing finds, super friendly salespeople -- this place is resale heaven! I was just there today with a friend and we both scored gorgeous designer dresses, cashmere sweaters, and cute tops. All their stuff is in great condition and is fashionable -- even the 50% off items in the back, which is where you'll find the best discounts. The store is kept impeccably clean and the clothes are well-organized. It's not at all "thrift shop" feeling -- more like a cool Parisian boutique. I've also consigned with them, and they're very fair and responsible with their sellers. But don't show up with a bag full of your old clothes! :) They're pretty selective and only take high-quality clothes and accessories, that are in good condition. Um, just a quick word on Simon Y's comments below...No need for the negativity! Resale is a way of recycling and minimizing consumer waste. Lots of women buy clothes that they don't end up wearing a lot, so why not pass them on? And shopping resale is fun, like a treasure hunt. Some of my most well-heeled and well-off girlfriends get their Manolos and Versace at Great Labels. Anybody can see that this place is fantastic! read more

Staff is super friendly and helpful, no attitude at all when you set up an account to sell (10 items minimum to set up selling account, after that no min) They have amazing stuff - everything is spotless and never or hardly worn. My daughter and I were appalled at the treatment of their customers! Some blonde woman (Miriam?) was not only rude but ignored us! We found their clothes to be really old and outdated. We have since gotten better deals (and more current clothes) at the Barney's sale for the price of their outdated clothes. One of the pair of pants we pulled even had stains on the crotch! I wrote this review about my friend yesterday and it was hiden at the Back! This is not right! I thought Yelp is an objective site reviews! this place ripe us off! The positive review was probably written by the bitter owner who had bad reputation on some other " hiden back review"! I usually don't write negative review but I feel really bad for my friend! she bought a bag there, supposed to be a real Gucci! She took it to Gucci just to make sure, as it was not cheap( $400) ! guess what they told her that it was a copy! my friend was crushed! we went back together to talk to the owner! a woman very odious and despising about our accent who said first that we didn't understand, (we're both Russian) She told us that we ''ll have to prove it! it's awful! my friend think about hiring a lawyer because it's totally unacceptable! That was obviously a mistake to go there as we used to go to Haute Second on wilshire where we bought either designer clothes and purses and never had any bad surprise!
