I was in town for a meeting at the University of Wyoming and although the host hotel was…read moreimmediately adjacent to the campus, my United Airlines flight arrived at 9am and I knew that being a loyal Marriott elite meant that I'd probably be able to check in early so I stayed here. This was my first Fairfield Inn and it turned out to be a great choice! I used the convenient Marriott mobile app, checked in online, and notified the hotel that I'd be arriving early and indicated the time. When I arrived, a room had already been assigned to me and I scored an upgrade to a Studio King suite. I'm not sure what the regular room looks like but the suite is a very functional set up that includes a small living room with a built-in storage unit, large screen tv, love seat, ottoman/footrest/table, desk and chair. There is an excellent floor lamp as well as a high quality desk lamp if you need some extra light to work. Plugs were easy to find. There's a convenient nook with a shelf, mini-fridge, and a microwave. The bed is comfortable, firm, not bouncy at all. Pillows were in good shape and the room was clean. My ac/heater (window) unit did blow pretty hard and there was no way to redirect the air, though the thermostat was quite responsive. So, as for me, I just ended up with a lot of unnecessary lukewarm air blowing around. No prob. Laramie is only about 15 minutes from corner to corner (the Fairfield is located in one of the corners next to the airport.) The drive to the University is easy and routes you around any possible traffic in town - a quick and easy 10 minutes. Friendly, efficient service, free breakfast (which I didn't eat,) plus 24-hour coffee in the lobby (is this a thing at all Fairfields?) I'd totally stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Scott and Carlos offered personable, professional, and exceptional customer service. Both of them had a great sense of humor and made the rental experience an excellent one. The Ford F150 I rented was in excellent condition, clean, and a Lariat edition. Scott pulled it right to the front of the office for me, which I appreciated in the chilly Wyoming wind. The customer experience was top notch and I'll certainly choose Enterprise for future rentals.

Tried to Uber or Lyft to responsibly go downtown but nothing was available. Got the number for Snowy Range from the hotel, she was there super quick and and charged the same as Uber or Lyft would have! We had a blast and (of course) called for her to take us back as well. Not only was the service outstanding, she was an absolute pleasure to talk with (a lot of laughs were had in the car!) and I truly felt like I was back at home. This is a review about Hertz in general. I was trying to cancel my reservation that I made 20…read moreminutes earlier. Their response was to send me to priceline, but when I go to priceline they tell me I need to talk to Hertz. To make matters even better when I call Hertz their phone system tries to push me back to the internet instead of talking to a human. When you finally get to where you are almost to a human then they threaten to charge you 5% if you make any changes to your reservation with a customer service agent. If you want a great example of how not to do business - check out Hertz. National and pretty much any other car rental company are much better.
