This is my go-to nail shop because it's right down the street, so it's very clutch. It also helps that the owner is accommodating with scheduling and the shop is open on Sundays! The quality is great for the price with the caveat that I've only ever gotten a simple design once. Other than that, I usually get a full set (basically the dip powder brushed over my real nail) with a solid color or French tip. But even that I've found can be pretty spendy at other locations--and here a manicure costs me $50.00!!! French tip costs extra, but they have loyalty punch cards that allow you to earn a free design after a few visits and a $7.00 discount when you fill the card. If I get a pedicure I usually go for the basic (I think, can't remember but it's around $45)! Which means I can get a mani + pedi for just under $100.00 ... AMAZING. And while I've never gotten my eyebrows done here, I've seen regulars go to the back room for this service. They used to also do eyelash extensions but have gotten rid of that since COVID. The vibe is they've been in business for decades and spend their money on quality nail products rather than decorations or marketing. First time, walk-in. Was hesitant due to the poor reviews, but with it getting warmer many places were already booked, so rolled the dice. They took my temperature and had me pick out my polish color. Due to being a walk-in, bit of a wait. Salon was clean and they sanitized in between each customer. It's a bit more expensive than other salons, but overall my tech Lena did a great job! For each service I requested she confirmed with the price. I appreciated the upfront pricing and confirmation. At the end she gave me a punch card and said my 3rd visit I get French or design free. read more

Went there for the first time and Lily was good and anoth lady did my daughters nails; however, as we were leaving I looked at my daughters nails and they were lumpy and crooked. So we went back in and Lily fixed up my daughters nails but oddly enough she tried to blame it on the customer that her nails were crooked and lumpy. $55 for a full set is crazy for one. Every place I've gone to I've been charged $45 and under. They charged my card right away before they even started on my nails - not sure what that was about. My nails look terrible. I'm livid. They are shaped differently and crooked. I specifically mentioned the crooked nail and he said he would fix it when filing but it's still crooked. The staff was nice, but the services were terrible. Expensive, timely (2+ hours), and incomplete. This is literally my first yelp review ever. Typically I do not complain, but I have gone to about 10 different nail places in the metro, and this was by far the MOST EXPENSIVE and WORST mani/pedi of my life. I did not notice until after I had left how bad they looked. I spent a total of $120 asking for the full set acrylics with manicure and the deluxe pedicure with gel. Cutting down the cuticles was not included apparently, and I had to clean off a ton more callous from my feet after I got home from the appointment. It is now 5 days later and due to my cuticles not being cut down, my nails already look like they need a fill (technically they would need one if I cleaned the cuticles myself). A few of my nails also have already chipped, and the nails on my right hand are crooked. The undersides of my nails also still have the acrylic overlay. Overall extremely SLOPPY. To say that my nails look horrible is an understatement. I called their location, and was extremely nice about it. They were willing to fix the chipped nails, but stated that cuticle cleaning is NOT included with the full set acrylic manicure. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic, and that times are tough, but this experience was horrendous. read more

I used to come here a few years ago with very minimal issues. Today I took my mom for a little mother+daughter bonding time, there were a few people in the shop when we got there. They sat us immediately and got our feet soaking. We asked if there was a wait, they said 'no.' Lynn came over and started doing my mom's nails. She said Gaey would be with me after he finished with his pedi. Once he finished, he started speaking this other lady's feet, claiming she was there before me. She had gotten a mani and her tech had started on someone else's nails. I was upset, but I kept my cool. Lynn saw what happened and said she would do my pedi when she finished with my mom. Once she finished with my mom, she took another lady in the back and started doing her eyebrows! Now, if I was one to be disrespectful, I would have grabbed my mom and left without paying. But no, I calmly waited for Lynn to finish, told my mom to pay her, and said we were leaving. All of the employees were trying to make excuses and saying how these women were here first and I was being impatient. 1. The ladies were physically the first, but as far as services go, I should have been attended to before them. 2. There was ZERO communication with me about being pushed down the line, they just brought helping other women before me. 3. I was not about to pay them for shitty customer service after being made to wait 2hours. They won't be getting anymore of my money to be treated like a nobody. read more

Sometimes, after a long day at work a pedicure is just what is needed. Fortunately, right across the street is Great Nails. I only get pedicures (I tend to pick my nails so a manicure is just a waste). And at Great Nails, they only cost $19.99. I think the average cost is usually about $25 or more. However, they usually are able to upsell me into getting the 'spa pedicure'...it costs $35 but it's totally worth the extra pampering. They always will offer the design for an extra $5 but if you get a stamp card, they usually end up being free. My bff who I usually go with always opts for the design and they usually do a good job. Just steer clear when they say they do 'freestyle.' She gave the ok on the freestyle design once and it turned out pretty hideous. The workers seem to know everyone that walks in the door (including me). They have brand new massage chairs for the pedicures that you can actually control. read more

What a great find - they were running a special - pedicures for $19.99. In spite of my resolve I did give in to a special scrub that added $5, to exfoliate my dry heels. The massage that came with the pedicure was nothing special, but pretty good for the price. The salon has a very friendly vibe, with lots of chatting between the nail technicians and clients. There were some children around and the staff interacted with them as they worked. There were two male technicians and two females. All in all, an excellent value for the price. They offer a 0.50 discount if you pay with cash instead of a credit card. read more

This shop nail techs are horrible I came for pedicure with French tip and a full set I told the nail tech Kenny that I wanted acrylic nails and with gel nail polish and he said 70 dollars so checked to make sure we was on the same page so I said acrylic nail and gel polish he said 25 and my toes 25 so I do's Oky when he did my toes he did not let my feet soak didn't scrub my feet also with my acrylic nails he did shape them right and he put on regular polish and I was telling the nails do not look right he said I complain to much I said if I am paying for something it need to look right he rushed threw the job my nail looked so bad I also the pic above is a different color I had to go home and fix the nail polish ended up painting them this colors I will ever go there again read more

It was really dirty. I went in for a polish change and to have a nail fixed. She didn't tell me the price until after she started taking off my polish I already had on - which was different from what the board said. She then started to file and put more acrylic on - I just wanted to let her know I just needed a polish change and she snapped at me and yanked my hand. I went for a gel manicure. 45$ I was quoted. That's fine. A little spendy but fine as long as there done proper. The guy put my middle finger nail on crooked!!!! Once I pointed that out he told me it's my finger. But I've been getting my nails done for me 15 yrs. It must of been his eyes. He tried to "fix" it by adding more accrilyc it didn't work. He scraped my nails and cuticles so bad I was bleeding. I was figuring he was going to give me 5$ off or something but never did. I went here two weeks ago and It was my first time getting my nails done so I had no knowledge of what acrylic or gel was so I spend $50.50 (not including $5 tip) on what I thought was gel nails. It was until I went to another nail shop for a refill telling me these are acrylic nails which I know now that acrylics range from $25-$35. They used powder and a liquid on my nails telling me they're gel and I did not have no designs but one basic color. Don't waste your money here. read more

Yep, one star...I arrived at 11:30. Three nail artists, three in the chairs. At 12:20, after sitting in water for 45+ minutes I asked how much longer it might be. They still couldn't tell me. No apology, explanation---not many here. They took a nail fill client in that came after me and had worked on the "in process" pedicures for over 45 minutes. I left with wet feet and disappointment.
