This truly is a fine service station. I can always count on Brad and his team to look out for our cars and our kids cars.

When I lifted the toilet lit to urinate, the bottom was dirty. Other than that, no complaints. They had a hand sanitizer dispenser by the door and hand soap dispenser by the sink. There was also an air dryer. While browsing, I noticed that the fresh fruit selection was low. There was only 2 hot dogs on the roller There was ample desserts on the fresh desserts cabinet. The ice cream cooler was mostly stocked. They sold $3.29 for 7lb bag of ice and $5.29 for 16lb bag. The ATM was out of cash. There was 2 gambling machines. They had more sweets than another location I went to. However, the prices were still ridiculous. I realized that this location was more expensive than a different location. There weren't many drinks to choose from. I ended up getting a pack of donuts and 2 drinks. The drinks were 2 for $3 vs 1 for $2.19, so why not?! I noticed that there was a container of fireball shots for $1.39 by the register. I was gonna get one but I was told I couldn't because it was after midnight. It's cool and interesting that they do that. North Carolina stores would never lol

Plenty of gas pumps and all in good working order, if a little older. Don't believe this gas station has been one of the newer ones to be renovated lately like the others I'm seeing all around town. We wanted to go inside and get some coffee from their fancy coffee bars but found this one did not have all the options the newer ones do and wasn't as well-stocked with sugar free items to put in your coffee. In the end, we walked out without getting anything.

On the last day of my week's 7-Eleven Rewards discount I was searching for the closest station…read more Having had an appointment with my eye surgeon in the Laskin Road corridor I decided to return home via Virginia Beach Boulevard rather than Great Neck Road. The 7-Elevens on the Great Neck corridor either have Exxon gas or are higher priced as Shore Drive nears the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel entrance/exit. My plan was to go home via Virginia Beach Boulevard rather Great Neck Road. On a cloudy & rainy day with dilated eyes I was delighted to see a 7-Eleven on the Laskin Service Road before I reached the intersection where I would have to choose between Virginia Beach Boulevard and Great Neck Road. The price before my discount was in line with others on the route home. So this was my stop. It would allow me to still go home on the closer Great Neck Road with dilated eyes. The station sits at an angle on the corner of Laskin & Village Roads. There is a shopping center across Village Road. It was an easy entrance from the service road. Exiting on the one way Village Road required a U Turn to return to Laskin Road. The store has the current 7-Eleven facade. But the pump area (not the pumps themselves) appeared dated. It didn't give me the spacious and clean feel of other stations I have frequented. My return is questionable. Stopping to fuel at this station again would require similar weather conditions & dilated eyes.
