I also saw that my car did not automatically reset the oil change life. I called and spoke with Brian. He was super helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable with me. He told me to stop by the next day & they would take care of everything. Well, he sure did. They actually ran out of stickers and he gladly placed one on the windshield for me. He also reset my oil life meter. I had a couple questions about my tires and he took time out to explain what I wanted to know. I'll be taking my vehicle here from now on is an understatement!

I wasn't vague about it -- I clearly explained the issue and expected at least a basic attempt to identify it. The truck passed inspection, I was charged (including an extra fee for using a debit card), and I was told they couldn't find the noise. After moving out of state and getting the truck inspected again, the problem was identified almost immediately: a bad sway bar bushing causing the rear suspension to rattle around. Obvious enough that another shop spotted it right away. So I'm left wondering: how does a shop performing a state inspection miss a suspension issue I specifically pointed out, involving a loud metal-on-metal clank, and then charge extra on top of it? If you bring your vehicle here with an actual problem, you may want a second opinion.

Left out the door with tire pressure warning lights, light bulbs not working and brakes squealing. Brought it back the next day, they claimed the car was too advanced for their knowledge. Almost 60 bucks to replace a light bulb and charged triple the price of brake pads to replace them. Lastly they charge a 3% fee on all card transactions and they don't accept American Express cards. Will definitely not return there again.

As a mechanic it frustrates me dealing with shops that try to get over on the general public. I dropped my car off the night before for a simple state inspection. This means they literally had all day the next day to do a 15 minute job. I put on my work order that they could just call me when it was finished. Well the next day I didn't hear anything from them. Knowing they close at 5pm, at 4:40 I decided I better call. Here is how it went -high I am calling about my car -oh yeah it's done -don't you close in 20 minutes? -yeah, I was going to call you (really? When?) -I'm not sure I can make it there by 5. -you can pay over the phone and pick it up tomorrow (I guess they figure people don't need their cars back when they drop them off) -your car was rejected. The steering is "unsecured" and there is an exhaust leak "at the flange". We will have to "figure out how to fix it". So I dropped everything and went and picked up my car. Yep the steering was "unsecured". It had a bolt that was loose. One out of 5 bolts. It took 10 seconds to tighten it. I used an exhaust sniffer on the entire exhaust system and no leak was found. So I tightened the bolt and took it to a reputable shop where it passed without any issues. Obviously they didn't find the mysterious exhaust leak either This is the same new management that failed another car of mine for "loose exhaust hangers". These are the little indestructible rubber donuts that hold the exhaust to the frame. You can look at a 100 year old car and the originals are still fine. I took the car home. Cleaned up the hangers that were on the car and put amoral on them to make them shine. Took it back and said I replaced them and oddly enough it was now fine and the car passed. This reminds me of shops that need to "adjust" your headlights or it will be rejected. I used Back Bay because while not cheap, when Don owned it if he said something was wrong with your car you could bank on it and it was convenient. Now if my car breaks down in their parking lot I'll have it towed out rather than use them again.

When I confronted Robert, the guy In charge, he gave me all sorts of attitude and insulted me and condescended to me. He acted like it took forever to replace a MAP sensor which is a 15 minute job, maybe 30 with testing. These guys want $1200. $100 of which was their professional diagnostic fee because apparently I need a professional diagnostic to tell me that something fell off the car. That was the whole reason why I brought the car in the first place! They said there were no coupons they could offer to lower the price, but they did take the hundred dollars diagnostic fee off after I complained about the price. A few days later, they decided to email me some coupons for any service which I took as a complete slap in the face. Please anyone reading these reviews do not take any business to these crooks unless you have unlimited disposable income.
