Ac compressor failing…read more With that information, I called Christian brothers automotive, requested a temporary ac recharge and said I do not want a compressor replacement, the desk representative asked me to come in, said he could get the recharge done and additionally give me a quote for my own knowledge since it's been 4 years. I get there, price is still $1400 for a compressor, $2500 for complete replacement as expected. I decline the work and ask to continue with the recharge, he then tells me No, and the reasoning behind is it falls under a OSHA violation. You need to tell me this information before I waste time coming to your shop hoping I'll purchase a $1500-2500 repair instead of wasting my time. I understand business but that is wrong.

When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

Not only did I not feel like pulling the transaxle back out, I didn't trust they could fix the problem and I didn't want my vehicle sitting around another 4 months. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund so I could take it to another shop and they didn't refund any of my money. Don't expect any refunds if you aren't satisfied with their service and want to go somewhere else. Epic waste of time and money bringing my transaxle to this shop.

Many shops would have taken this as an opportunity to cash in.
