The store is clean and well kept. They have all of the blue collar brands (Ariat, Carhartt etc). The styles that they carry are also available to those men who ride around in pick up trucks on the job site and pretend that they're working. (Think Carhartt golf shirts.) The value for your money is well spent here, knowing that you're supporting a local business, as well as the brands speak for themselves. The company is buying and selling the correct products to the right crowd. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. Their service department is top notch, and they've always got a good inventory and quality product lines to choose from whether it's SCUBA gear or model rockets. You may be able to find better deals, but I guarantee you will not find better personalized service or product knowledge. I can also vouch that their dive trips on the Missouri are excellent, especially if you're a sportsman. I picked up spearfishing several years ago and its just about as much fun as you can have in the water, short of ocean diving. Sioux Falls is lucky to have a Dive Shop of this caliber. Bill Donovan, the owner and lead instructor, has got just about every rank you can get in the recreational SCUBA world. There are not very many dive shops in the country where you can do your open water certification all the way to being an instructor yourself. Whether you want to learn to dive for tropical vacations or dive the area's lakes and rivers, Donovan's is the best shop to do it with.
