Excellent Service, great atmosphere. Spacious enough for events. They offer brewery tours, and food served in the back from a airstream type motor home. Pretty neat, and fun.

I can't believe I have not written a review on this place. First, run their beer mile! It's a good time no matter if you're a runner or not. I am glad they were open for curbside during the corona pandemic. I had to support them. There's no in house food but they offer food trucks.

Great place to enjoy a beer and listen to some great music. The guy performing when we were there was great! We enjoyed his throwback to the 90s music while sipping on a Chillsicle and Louisiana Amber. Highly recommended!

Nice atmosphere, cool decor and good beer. We came here after work on Friday and a food truck was parked outside. Periodically someone from the truck would come in with a basket of food to sell while people enjoyed beer. You have the option of buying a collectible glass cup that you get to keep and a chip so that you can get free refills-- or just pay by the glass. Enjoyed a cold beer from the bar and yummy fish tacos from the truck. Awesome place for dates and groups!

nice back room for a private party. nice size screen tv. plenty of seats and plenty of standing room. i have no idea the cost as i am a guest. the beer was flowing none stop free at the host expense.

Great beers, great staff and great atmosphere. What else do I need to say? Sampled a flight of multiple styles of beer and enjoyed all of them. From a lime gose to a nitro barley wine, they have it all, and they do it right. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive- we walked in during a down pour of rain and they greeted us with towels so we could dry ourselves off. Even in the rain they had food truck options available outside. I would definitely suggest stopping by and enjoying one of their many beer options!

Beer good. Service cause they have to. No smiles and no talk. Sad because I would have several but felt I was an annoyance.

A wide beer selection and no frill efficient service. They have fun community events outside of regular hours.

I attended with a local friend and he confirmed this is authentic. The experience: Friendly staff, a long restaurant with a bar section, followed by the condiments section, followed by a whole other bar somehow? I didn't poke my head back there but I found that intriguing. More on the condiments: They come with any sandwich. I probably took unfair advantage by taking enough lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to make an entire salad. I then asked for dressing, which they happily provided at no charge. And sandwiches? Do get. Delicious bread. The default bread appears to be the French - you could opt for their sourdough if you like - and it's not toasted. I love soft bread, and the po' boy was divine as a result. I loved the boudin. I loved that they have alligator sausage in multiple places on the menu. I loved everything about this place except the fact that summer means just about all of the beers were light, and I had to hunt and peck to find beers more my style. Which I did. And maybe those beers are lingering as I type this review. But BeauxJax gave me the warm, fuzzy, welcoming feeling I love in a restaurant. A great stop in Bossier. Worth a detour from Shreveport. Legitimate Cajun.

But table seating was available. After taking a couple minutes to decide. I chose the shrimp poboy. It was delivered at 12:05, with the tails on. Before I could eat, I had to pull them off. It was fantastic. So I guess I'll be okay. By 12:20 I was cashing out lunch for one $20. They issued a 20% discount for my military id.

So, we ended up here--the only place open that wasn't serving up blackjack with a side of fries. First up: water. Now, if you've never had Louisiana tap water, let me tell you--it tastes like someone steeped a bag of potting soil in it for 12 hours. I was about to blame this restaurant until a little Google dive informed me that most of Louisiana water just tastes like this due to geosmin and MIB (algae bloom byproducts, apparently). Fun fact that nobody asked for, but here we are. Anyway, we pivoted HARD to cocktails. I ordered a Belvedere martini, which was well-made by Dustin but oddly expensive considering this wasn't exactly a swanky downtown hotspot. For dinner: Hubbs went for shrimp fettuccine, and while it was fine, it didn't exactly make us want to write home about it. I, on the other hand, ordered Natchitoches meat pies, thinking they'd be the real deal imported from the famous place there. Oh, how naive I was. Instead, they were sad little impostors, baked instead of fried, and just...meh. Final bill: almost $100 for four drinks and two average entrées. If we're dropping that kinda cash, I'd prefer a meal that didn't require an emergency cocktail switch just to recover from the water.

The menu has changed in the last year (apologies for lack of photos), so I recommend checking the website's menu for the most current offerings. The potato beignets were a hit appetizer- although truly the oddest beignets I've ever seen- I would order again without hesitation. The kabocha squash hummus and Brussels sprouts were also immediate hits. My duck confit was exceptional and the banana creme pie was enough for 4 people to enjoy a few bites. The menu strikes a nice balance of varied southern/french tastes but focused for quality and thoughtfully curated. Although I noted that we were celebrating a graduation when making the reservation, it was never acknowledged. That said, the service was warm and attentive overall, with the only drawback being infrequent water refills. The volume in the dining room fluctuated and became a bit louder toward the end of our meal. Overall, this restaurant manages to feel both intimate and refined. The salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, while the peas brought an earthy, slightly nutty flavor with a creamy texture that paired beautifully with the leeks and tomatoes.
