Stopped by here after my Yelp friend Danny recommended it and glad I did! Service was great, the lady working let us sample a few flavors. Inside it's cute but small, a couple of chairs inside and outside. This street seemed very popular with lots of different businesses, from shopping to restaurants to breweries. We had eaten at Taq/Qila for lunch and was strolling around and I decided to give this gelato shop a try as the weather was becoming warm. It seemed relatively popular as there were people sitting outside and inside the store. The two associates behind the counter were nice and helped answer questions I had relating to weather any of the ice cream flavors had chunks of the ingredients (such as chocolate ribbons in the Stracciatella and almond cookie chunks in the amaretto flavor). I also opted for the dark chocolate ice cream cone, which paired perfectly for the two scoops. Overall, the ice cream is on the pricier side ($9.50 for the two scoops and another $1.50 for the waffle cone) but the flavors are unique enough that I would consider returning if I was cruising through this area of Palm Springs! read more

Staff is friendly, the line is efficient and ordering is easy with clear signage for flavors. We ordered a medium with scoops with Lemon Basil, Pistachio, and Praline Pecan. That lemon basil... oh my I enjoyed that so much! The basil flavor shined through giving an herby, slightly savory flavor combo to the tart lemon. It was almost like a frozen gazpacho. Stopped in on a hot day looking for something to cool us down. Family owned/operated store with gelato that's absolutely delicious, but a little pricy. Staff was friendly, and the line for ordering is efficient with clear signage for flavors/selections. We ordered a couple small cups with 2 scoops of various flavors. They have some unique flavors that are worth trying out. They also carry vegan gelato, which I was surprised at how good it tasted. This place was delicious! Loved their gelato. They had so many flavors and options. Their gelato popsicle is super unique and my little sister loved it. They also offered mug cakes. THAT was an amazing treat as well. Really enjoyed having this sweet treat, totally worth it to stop by for desert if you're in the area. The employees were nice and helpful, store is clean, there's chairs to sit down on inside and outside the store. It's very tiny but quant. My only critique is that I wish they had a hand held menu, if you have bad vision or glasses like me, all of their flavors are listed in fancy font on their back wall--which means you have to use your phone to take a photo then zoom it closer. They also have all their gelato flavors covered, unlike other shops, so you can't see the flavors which is a little bit disappointing when deciding what you want. I'm not sure they provide samples either? But it's all very good so I'm not docking stars for that. This place also doesn't have a restroom, which could be problematic for some customers if you need one, but luckily many places in the area seem to have them available where this small gelato shop doesn't. The Joshua Tree Coffee flavor was great and even better in between two chocolate chip cookies! After dinner and a semi warm day. We wanted some gelato as we walked up and down the streets. We came upon this place, as the reviews were excellent and we had walked by it earlier. Upon walking in, there's minimal seating inside to the left. There's the main counter right in front of you. They have lots of gelato flavors. As well as other pastries and goodies. The guy working the counter was terrible. Lacked any social skills. Clearly didn't want to be there. Looked bothered by us asking him questions. Totally terrible. I got the lemon basil as well as the banana Foster. The lemon basil was extremely sour. Lips puckered and eyes got all squinted. Didn't go too well with the banana Foster. Which was sweeter and had a heavier, full bodied taste. Had chunks of mushy banana throughout. The banana doster initially was good. First couple scoops tasted great. But half way thru it it wasent tasting too great anymore. Tasted synthetic. My entire visit here left me with a bad taste in my mouth when I left. We came here for a sweet treat after our very disappointing dinner at Las Casuelas Original, which is just down the street. The gelato here is very good, but the portions are tiny for the price they charge. When they say one scoop: they mean it! Like, imagine a scoop going into the tub and rolling out a little gold ball of gelato and that's pretty much what you get. We recommend the Dubai chocolate (can't stop, won't stop) and salted caramel. (The hazelnut was a bit boring.) Consistency is smooth and service is friendly, but damn, these folks are stingy for how much they are charging. read more

We recently stopped in for a dish of gelato while in downtown Palm Springs with friends. We were trying to decide if we wanted ice cream or gelato. The service was fine. No split scoops were allowed only one flavor per scoop. The gelato was fine. It was the best I've had but it wasn't disappointing. I got two scoops in a cone, one of pistachio and one of chocolate. It wasn't stale and the flavor was distinguishable but the shop just lacked the feeling you get with gelato because of the presentation (or lack there of). It just feels like a chain operation. My husband got the bananas foster and chocolate and they were delicious together. I wouldn't not go back but I wasn't charmed. read more

Another great experience and delicious gelato as usual. Whenever we are in town we like coming here. Had the gelato mug cake this time with chocolate cake and mango gelato. We were in town for Desert Air music festival and had tacos at Las Palmas brewing and wanted something sweet. Gelato Granucci was a quick walk from the brewery. It's a small shop with a DEEP family history. They do allow you to sample the flavors which is great. Reading the family history on the wall, it said the Granucci family won the Copa de'orro for their hazelnut gelato. I got a scoop of that and the coffee gelato. The hazelnut gelato tasted like eating a Ferrero Rocher. There was a young guy working behind the counter and he was incredibly patient with all of our sampling requests.
