This is a small shop conveniently located inside the Equinox Greenwich fitness center. The…read moreselection of active wear and fitness gear is limited but eclectic because it's meant to satisfy the needs of the Equinox members. I've had occasions where I forgot to put my shorts or an extra tee shirt in my gym bag and the store remedies those situations. The manager on one occasion even gave me a free Equinox tee when I forgot to bring my own. The staff is great and always friendly and I've never had a bad experience there. There's also juice press bar inside the shop where I go whenever I need to refuel or replenish my electrolytes after a workout. Again it's meant to satisfy the needs of Equinox gym members. On a side note, I read the other review by Leslie E who seemed to be expecting a full blown department store because she forgot to bring enough clothes on a trip?!!! In all fairness, her 1 star rating is unjust. She forgot to bring shirts and had unrealistic expectations. What department store opens at that time of morning? What type of shirts did she expect to find at a gym? She sure looks like a malcontent venting her frustrations on the staff because she forgot to bring enough shirts. If I could I'd give this place 6 stars.

But I did get another email apologizing saying they will follow up with the vendor and ensure it gets out. That was Friday morning and shocking have heard nothing from them since. So now I get to dispute charges, look into there BBB records. Really if they said "out of stock" all good, I'd they said from the beginning "sorry it comes from a vendor we have no contact with " I get that as well al good, but instead they did nothing, well except charge me for an they never sent.

If you're looking for a proper, local athletic shop that actually knows their stuff, this is the…read morespot. It's tucked right into the Rye Ridge Shopping Center next to the Rye Ridge Deli, and there's always plenty of space in the public lot, which makes getting in and out incredibly easy. While they carry gear for pretty much every sport under the sun--soccer, running, basketball, swimming, squash, pickleball, and paddle--their tennis selection is where they really shine. They have everything: racquets, strings, grips, dampeners, apparel, and shoes. They even do on-site stringing, which is a massive plus. Aside from the core gear, I love that they stock quality recovery stuff too. We actually picked up two foam rollers here (one hard, one medium) that have been absolute lifesavers for rolling out knots after spending a few hours on the tennis court, or honestly, after a grueling double (back-to-back classes) at SoulCycle Rye Brook just downstairs. The staff here is incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgeable about tennis. Big bonus: if they're inside setting up and you happen to show up a bit before their official opening hours, they'll often open the doors early for you. That kind of flexibility and neighborly service is hard to find these days. Highly recommend checking them out!

Interesting-I think my review will be some what similar to others I have read. So I went earlier…read moretoday because I needed a new grip for my pickleball racket. As I was looking at the immense number of grips to choose from, I asked a younger girl who worked there which she would suggest and she just pointed and said any. So I was still confused-so I asked another associate who was stringing a tennis racket and he also sort of gave a half ass answer and called for another associate. The employees were not very friendly or helpful-hence I am not giving five stars. However, I finally got the right person-seemed like the manager and she was fantastic. She spent about 20 minutes trying to peal apart my old grip--using all sorts of tools and it was disintegrating in her hands, so I felt really bad. Once she managed to get it off she put on the new grip for me, which was so nice--she really went out of her way to make sure it worked, so I appreciated that. Also-their selection is fabulous--at least in the pickleball area where I was looking--tons of rackets to demo, grips, bags, tennis/pickleball attire etc. I will definitely will go back in the future, if I need other pickleball items, just hoping the employees won't look so annoyed and disinterested if I ask a question.
