First, there is NO buffet, they have discounted it since COVID. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable the issue for me is consistency. There are a couple of things on the menu I get pretty often, I'll get something one time and it's great the next time it's just so-so. The owner is great, he always comes around checking to see if everything is okay. After going in a few times he gets to know you and is usually ready with your drinks. This place was once the best Chinese restaurant I've ever had until Covid. Sadly the virus has killed it. They took away the best buffet within 30 miles and refuse to bring it back. Whoever decided to stop buffet and to never bring it back failed this community. It must be under new ownership. The service horrible , the food tastes different and my order was screwed up. I have called in a take order a couple of times and could not get what I wanted. I've asked if they are new owners and was told no. It's not good anymore so I will not be going back ever. Unfortunately there isnt any good chinese in this area. read more

This restaurant is cozy but with a great selection of food. It's credit card tip and the staff are all extremely kind and patient. I love the atmosphere, and the food consists of staples within chinese cuisine. Great for its price and I'm planning on revisiting a lot more in the future. HIGHLY recommend visiting if you're in the area on the hunt for some chinese comfort food. read more

Selected this buffet after my regular place was closed for remodeling. They had one buffet bar with about 10 dishes. The food was subpar at best. Most of the chicken was tough and bland. Sorry you can get so much more for the same price as many other places in the area. read more

Sick of false reviews! Worst Chinese buffet I've ever been to! Crap selection very small! The wait staff was very very pushy! Kept taking our plates when we were not finished! Wow! 1st visit here & pleasantly surprised. We had the lunch buffet which offered a variety. Everything was delicious. It was tongue plate licking great & we will return frequently. My table mate said it was the best Chinese food she had ate in years. read more

The waitresses are great but there really isnt much to choose from in the buffet. The decor is ok but could be updated. The food was good, tastes good, but again there could be more selection although I am one that thinks golden corral has too much selection lol. The owner or guy who runs it seems to know what hes doing and tries to make things right when they are wrong. read more

We have been eating here for years. It is the best Chinese food in the area, from Ashland, Kentucky, to Portsmouth, Ohio. Yes, the buffet selection is not as large as some competitors, but the food is good. They serve up small portions at a time to keep it fresh and to hold down waste. The food is reasonably priced, especially at lunch time from the take-out menu. The portions are generous. My favorite from the menu is Chicken with Cashew Nuts. From the buffet, I like the pepper chicken, jalapeno chicken and broccoli chicken, when they have that. I like the fried rice, the chicken teriyaki and I dip vegetables from dishes that have them to add to my chicken choices. My wife likes General Tsao's chicken and the crab Rangoon. Our waitresses have always been pleasant and attentive. Unlike some others have claimed, we have never felt rushed. read more

Way over priced and not much of a food selection. Only about 10 different things to choose from. Definitely not worth the money! 2 adults and 1 child is about $30, not including tip. For some time we have ordered carry out from Great Taste Chinese. It is excellently prepared and boxed neatly. We've ordered so often they recognize r voice and we don't have to repeat r order. The pu pu platter for 2 is r favorite. Taste of every delicacy in the meat entries from fish to ribs, can't beat that can u. Even those sumptuous fried wontons with crab, also egg rolls r included.
