This restaurant has become a favorite lunch spot for my husband and me. The lunch portions are perfect. My favorite dish is the Panang Curry with pork. My husband usually orders Pad Thai with tofu. And then we share a house salad with Thai peanut dressing, a pair of white tuna nigiri sushi, and a pair of eel nigiri sushi. Hardy and delicious! It's a bit expensive, but worth it. The ingredients are always fresh. The food presentation is always appealing. The staff is always attentive. The space is always comfortable. Overall, we just know (trust) that we'll have a pleasant dining experience each time we go. read more

The food was really great. I had red curry with steamed tofu. I requested mild+ and it was perfect. The tofu was delicate and tasty. My husband's Pad Ka Paow was ordered mild. He said he got a spicy bite, but I couldn't detect any heat. He said it had a really good flavor. It was packed with veggies and chicken. We both ate every bite it was so good. The gyoza were so so. We ordered mango sticky rice for dessert and waited at least 15 minutes for it. It's still grand opening, so some delays are expected. The mango was perfect but the rice was meh. Other than the long wait for dessert service was outstanding. Our waitress was kind and helpful, and drink refills were quick. The ambiance is much improved and the annoying video loop is gone. This is a renewed Thai restaurant after the old owners returned to Thailand. I have been at the older establishment before, but first time with this new ownership. The restaurant is in a suburban strip mall with poor walkability scores, nothing unusual in these parts. What that means is that one has to be there on intent, from haircut, to footwear, to Target, Marshall's, and Office Depot, and the biggest anchor, Home Depot. The shops are in 4 different collections. This Thai restaurant shares neighboring space with Oh Charley's, an American restaurant, and a corner Starbucks, among others. So, I am visited intentionally. I wanted a spicy Thai meal, and I did not want to drive further to the city which has very good competing restaurants. First impression when you walk in. The entrance renewal means the fake but interesting previous Thai food display is gone, opening up the room but no re purposing of the extra space. There is a small hostess podium there now but again, it is not constantly "manned" as the entrance is monitored by staff from the sushi counter straight on. The layout is otherwise unchanged and the furniture is the same. The service is efficient and quick enough as I was seated immediately at lunch hour. Water service was quick, no lemon was offered, and I did not need them to make any extra run. I had no frills, and ordered a curry dish that comes with white rice. The food quality is fresh, and tasty, and yes, tastes as it is supposed to. Everything looks clean and efficient if certainly utilitarian. You can see the dish and the rice amount below. The rice was about a cup, and the curry dish was shallower than what it may look. All this was just enough for me being on diet. But for $18+tax, this amount of food is a slap in the face. For other restaurants another 10-15 mins down route 60, one can avail of food that can be well shared by 2 adults, or 1 adult who will have enough leftover for a second lunch, or sometimes even dinner. But here, this is all you get. Another cup of rice would be about $2 extra, but there wouldn't be additional enough curry to go with it unless you order another plate. I travel the world, and I love to sample restaurants, both inexpensive as well as reasonably expensive. In the restaurant business, I see an American trend of never compromising quantity for price. The location matters, which as I have said above, this is no large city walkability vibe. So I cannot consciously connect the price, and value here. What did I pay for, vs. what did I get. I support local business and am not going to ding one either. Remember, the food is good. But for the price, and the fact that you are here with a car, a drive about 15 mins down can give you favorable quantity and price. This should be an easy fix for the owners. Make your own choices and interpretation. read more

It's one of the places in town we go to most often, since the atmosphere is always calm and comfortable, the authentic Thai cuisine is great (though I'm sure the Japanese menu is great too), and the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes. This is a new to me restaurant so this was my first time going here. They were having live music and the lady that I believe was the owner said that this was the first time they had done anything like that. They were a little overwhelmed with the crowd that was there but they got our orders right and the food was good. We had a great waitress who, even though she had a lot of tables , took great care of us. The restaurant itself was clean and modern and had plenty of seating. The menu has Thai and Japanese entrees with sushi and plenty of appetizer choices. The only negative and it's a slight negative, is I felt the price was a tad high for the portion of food. I will definitely go back to try some of the other offerings!! read more

Stopped into Thai fusion tonight for dinner. Welcomed immediately and shown to a table. Kelly had the Pineapple tofu curry and I had the Basil chicken fried rice. Both dishes were made perfectly with the right amount of spice we each wanted. Service was excellent and we each had the proper amount of food for the price charged. We're just passing through and have had Thai food all over the country and was so pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavors. The papaya salad was delicious and right amount of heat (I requested medium). For mains we ordered pad see ew and a stir fry ka paow. I was invited to lunch by Mountaineer Upfit with the promise that the food was fantastic. I really couldn't believe how delicious the Thai Fusion food was. And the service is wonderful. Our waitresses made the experience so much fun. This restaurant has great ambiance as it is much larger inside than it appears from the parking lot. A group of 9 of us got together for dinner recently. Not everyone arrived at the same time, but the server was a little slow to take new arrivals drink and soup/appetizer orders and this made it take even longer to order our meals. At some point after ordering our entrees, a second server showed up to deliver some of the plates & she offered refills on water once. The entrees came out hot and very nicely presented and the food was tasty. However, the orders only arrived 1 or 2 at a time, meaning there was a significant lag between when the first meals arrived until the last plate came. Although portions were reasonable, there wasn't enough for any leftovers. The prices are higher than other Thai restaurants nearby, especially for the portion size. A couple of our friends had long waits for beverage refills. The restaurant was somewhat chilly and we ended up keeping our jackets on throughout our visit. Finally, when we got the bill, there was an 18% gratuity added. We decided to leave about a 15% tip since we had only ordered 2 entrees, no apps/soup/salad/dessert & water (no refills). Apparently the gratuity is mandatory and not at the discretion of the customer. The second server said we had not given her enough $$ for our bill while she was gathering up everyone's payments. I said that the tip was up to the customer, and based on our dining experience I was leaving a smaller amount than what was listed. She said she would check with the other server about it (!). As we were getting ready to leave, the original server returned and asked for the full amount on the bill. She even showed us a small note on the menu regarding how this gratuity was based on size of your party (8 or larger, I think). All of this Public Shaming was done in front of our group of friends, btw. We won't be returning. Good food, but pricey & service was sketchy. read more
