Pork belly appetizer tasted very good but it wasn't crispy (which would have made it so much better) and the buns they were served with didn't taste completely fresh. Dan Dan noodles with ground beef was excellent.... they're served spicy and you can simply request the level of heat you prefer to fit your taste buds. Soup dumplings were of decent size and quite juicy...... unfortunately they lacked some flavor. Mongolian beef dish was excellent as was the kung pao chicken. Overall it was a pretty good meal but there was some room for improvement. The staff was very nice and it did have quite a cool "old school American Chinese restaurant" vibe from yesteryear.

The general tso's chicken was very meaty but had a different kind of sauce than I've gotten in other places; it was more barbecue-like than the thick, sweet, spicy, orange glaze I'm accustomed to. The chicken in garlic sauce was good. The chicken, as well as the vegetables, were shredded, which is different than I'm accustomed to. The chicken lo mein was perfect with a tasty smoky flavor. I'm taking one star off for the egg rolls which are always my favorite part of a Chinese dinner. They weren't piping hot, right out of the fryer. While tasty, they were only a bit warm and soggy.
