I can see many people loving the sesame chicken, but I like mine drenched in sauce, and this felt like a healthier version with a glazed grilled chicken taste. I am also not the biggest fan of Asian soups but I always try them in case I find one that changes my mind. People may love the soups as well.

Twice cooked pork. Saving it for later but looks legit. Lots of tasty cabbage which is the signature. Though the use of char su instead of pork loin is off target I suspect it will be ok. Still miss the Hunan House version that left their menu a few years back. I'll go back one day and try some other stuff, their salt pepper wings and shrimp toast and fried rice dishes looked good in photos.

While we often order takeout from this place, I must express my dissatisfaction with their fried rice - it was severely undercooked. When I called to voice my concern, the woman on the phone responded rudely, failing to handle constructive criticism. I have been going to this place for almost 10 years. The food is great and reasonably priced. They also have your order ready fast. I introduced my boyfriend to this place and he is completely obsessed. We come here at least once a week. This mom and pop place is my favorite Chinese takeout in the city. read more

I asked the lady on the phone if the sauce could be changed from Brown Sauce to 'Orange Sauce' (there is an Orange Shrimp on the menu). She replied 'No'. I then asked if the sauce could be changed to Schezwan Sauce (which should be 'A fiery, pungent, and slightly sweet Indo-Chinese condiment made from dried red chilies, loads of garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, and often Sichuan peppercorn'). The lady said yes, and confirmed my order. 20 minutes later, I picked up my order and was a bit surprised that the price was $1.00 more than their online menu (I confirmed the price via DoorDash website). I assumed they had upcharged the dish because of the change in sauce, even though it was not discussed when I placed the phone order. I generously rounded it up to the $13.90 total (which should have been $12.95 saying "Keep the Change" from $15.00 cash. -I felt good! I went home to enjoy my Shrimp and Vegetables with Schezwan Sauce However, when I started into it, it was apparent that they just added a few chili flakes to the original Brown Sauce...How disappointing.
