I ordered the wonton soup which was ok, the General Tsos Chicken with white rice, which was nicely spiced and the rice was sticky which I love. I also got the steamed dumplings. They were also just ok. This is not the best Chinese food I have had but it worked for a quick dinner. I had enough to pack away for lunch tomorrow. The soup was nice on a very cold winter day. The restaurant was not busy at all since I was between meals time wise but they had a good amount of seating. The staff was friendly and efficient which the seating area was fully accessible. We ordered takeout from Great Wall and the results were mixed. The wonton soup was underwhelming. While the wontons themselves were delicious, the broth lacked color and flavor. I had a shrimp egg roll which was perfectly crispy and not too oily, and my husband had good things to say about his pork egg roll as well. For an entree, I had Kung Pao chicken, which came with fried rice. The rice was good, solid flavor, but the pork in the rice was extremely dry. The same goes for the main event. The sauce on the chicken was a good mix of hot and sweet, but it was over breaded and the chicken inside was dry to the point that some pieces were inedible. The prices have stayed reasonable, and the service is quick and friendly. I got food poisoning from these people and I reported it to the manager and she got very hostile and rude with me and told me all of her food is fresh and that I was lying. I had also made a review on Google as well I have seen that other people have said they had gotten food poisoning as well from this place. Stay away from here and go to Rice House over in the Redners shopping center. Just giving a heads up and if you look at the reviews, you will see I am not the only one. Our group of four had a sudden Chinese food craving when in the area and our take-out experience here was beyond disappointing. Out of the three entrees that we got, not even one was a good one. Our order consisted of the all-classic kung-pao chicken, eggplant with garlic sauce, and chicken and broccoli. Our food was ready in just fifteen minutes which was nice and appreciated since we were all starving. The Kung-pao chicken looked very promising in its plastic container but the taste was seriously lacking. We asked for this dish to be made spicy and not only did it lack spice, but it lacked flavor in general. The eggplant wasn't quite appetizing in appearance and the taste was rather peculiar. It was kind of sweet which we did not expect. Lastly, the chicken and broccoli. Although this was the most flavorful of the three dishes, that isn't saying much. The steamed broccoli was prepared well and it came with a decent amount of chicken, but the taste was very underwhelming. I won't be getting take-out from here again due to the disappointing food. Four Seasons was very good. I was glad to learn they don't add bamboo or water chestnuts (my enemies) which means more room for broccoli! ;) The sauce they use is much lighter than you'll find in most other Chinese take outs; not thick and gloopy. Egg rolls...the less I say, the better. Wonton soup was acceptable - they offer a large kind of dried noodle to accompany the soup that I've never seen before. Ribs were outstanding. Great size, meaty, moist, unburned, with a slight smoky flavor. Best I've had from a Chinese take out in recent memory. Look forward to returning to try additional dishes. read more

I have been going to this place for the last 15 years and have always enjoyed anything we would get. however recently the quality of the food has gone down. Today we ordered five dinner items the eggrolls did not taste good at all almost like they were bad We ended up not eating them and throwing them away. This Chinese is just okay for me. I've also tried so many Chinese restaurants over the years that I've had really good and I'm picky. I've only done take out. I feel like the food is very plain tasting and lacking in flavor. It's not gross at ALL, It just doesn't do anything fit neatly The sesame chicken is okay, definitely not the worst I've had but not the best, the fried rice is yellow which I don't like for some reason. There crab rangoons are pretty good. Won ton soup is okay. The chips that come with the soup are one of my favorite things but they're not good here at all. There were no surprises - the General Tso's combination dinner (chicken, fried rice, egg roll and soda) and the shrimp and mixed vegetables (served w/ white rice) were exactly what we expected and ordered. Big portions, lots of rice, all the extras (fortune cookies, sauces, fried wontons, etc.) We did not dine in, however the interior looked fine - certainly not pristine, but I probably wouldn't hesitate to eat there. My only complaint is that they do not have brown rice - only white and fried - and they do not offer delivery. I also wish they offered soup with their combination dinners, instead of the soda, but the cashier was very clear that was not an option. read more

I've been going to Great Wall for years. I think the husband and wife there are the nicest people, always pleasant and friendly. I don't eat in the dining room because I don't like the smell of the fryers, but that's not a knock on them (I'm just weird that way). So always take out and you won't be disappointed. Ingredients seem fresh and food is cooked well. General Tso's is my pick. Also get the boneless spare ribs, which are actual ribs that they cut the meat from the bone into long strips. If you're looking for your typical Americanized Chinese takeout/rarely eat in Restaurant, this is the place. And I mean that in a positive way. We've always enjoyed what we get: vegetable egg roll, vegetable dumplings, fried pork dumplings, fried noodles, and sometimes General Tso's chicken. One time the order of Tso's chicken was served with what must've been Mexican yellow rice and peas. So funny I wasn't even mad. The man upfront is very nice but I think the food usually takes longer that stated over the phone, but the food is very consistent. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would. More than 3, but doesn't feel like a 4. Better food than Wegmans food bar that is nearby. Not as good as the PF Chang's up in the Providence town Center, but The Great Wall is super convenient. read more
