Ordered and waited 2 hours but they never delivered. Claimed they delivered to the wrong house

This was a really great surprise that we didn't even know was in Royersford. We have been looking for a new local Chinese place and this is a hidden gem! We did take out last night and it was fantastic. It was absolutely delicious. It was super tasty, no greasy and they were super fast for service . It's been some time since I've taken food out from here. In the past, the Pad Thai was pretty decent. Tonight it was not. I ordered vegetable Pad Thai. It was very greasy, and you better call Sherlock Holmes to investigate where the vegetables are hiding. I basically got a big pile of pink noodles, and not an appetizing one. I had picked it up for takeout, and was so disappointed in it, I had to call them back to let them know how bad it was. The woman on the phone seemed to think it was funny, and laughing told me next time I should ask for extra vegetables. Extra vegetables? How about SOME vegetables! There are about 2 pieces of broccoli in the whole dish and little more! No apologies. No offer to remake it, credit the dish, or anything else. She'll tell the kitchen, and laughed about it! I will not be going back ever again, so there won't be any "next time" to order "extra vegetables." I suggest going elsewhere. Meanwhile I'm going to find some Tums to fight the grease. read more

There is no good Chinese places in this area at all. China king in Phoenixville use to be good, Tangs Garden in Collegeville is also a hit or a miss. I ordered wonton soup from here and general tsos chicken and sesame chicken, the food did not taste fresh and this seems to be the case now for not only this Chinese restaurant but majority of them in Montgomery county are horrible. This is just one of many places that you are taking a Gamble. I ordered alot from here before the pandemic and it was definitely better quality then it is now. So it's unfortunate but China inn has made the list of horrible Chinese food. Don't eat here trust me they went down hill. You could eat weeks old moo shoo pork which was delivered to me a few months back. So I decided to give them one more chance and once again I received what seemed to be old food because it sure tasted horrible like it was sitting in a fridge a little to long and they warmed it up in the microwave would be my best guess of how their general tso chicken tasted and my girlfriends food tasted like garbage too. My favorite spot for good Chinese in the local area. Always friendly staff, quick service and reasonably priced. Chicken & Broccoli , General Tso Chicken and the Sweet & Sour Chicken are some of my favorites. If you need something sweet, try the Chinese Donuts. read more

Good food but not excellent. We got the hot tea cause the soda not included. If I'm in area I Order from here. Most people get take out but there are tables and we sat and watched customers come and go. The Generals chicken taste different here then other places taste more of a Barbecue flavor. This was our first time ordering from China Inn. Overall the food and service were good. The sweet and sour chicken was very good, as was the vegetable lo mein. The crab rangoons were very good as well. The beef and broccoli was questionable. The meat was either undercooked or not a beef I was familiar with. It was very slimy. I couldn't eat it. I do not have a "favorite" Chinese place locally It seems like every time I've tried one and really liked it, the next time I went it was not nearly as good. China Inn has been solid 2 or three times in a row now (I only order a few times a year). Chicken with garlic sauce is GREAT. I am so disappointed when a menu notes it as "spicy" and it's just not. This was perfect. Generous portions, fried foods (egg rolls, crab rangoon, spring roll) were not Greasy. No complaints at all! read more

We tried China Inn because of all of the rave reviews of Facebook. It was delicious. I really never knew it existed before. The Beef with Orange is my staple. It was *the best* I have ever had. Crab Rangoon, Egg Roll and the Singapore Mei Fun are also our staples and the best I have had in comparison to all of the other local Chinese restaurants. Where do I even START!? This place is amazing! Everything I've ordered from there has been delicious! It is all very fresh and authentic. I especially love their chicken dishes, they are amazing. It was a touch on the pricey side 47$ for 3 people) but we did order a few extras and family member forgot to get a menu for next time. I had a hard time locating a website or menu, so that might be an area where there could be some improvement. We had the Generals Chicken, sweet n sour Chicken, and pan fried wontons with spicy sauce (a little thick for my taste but tasty). Egg rolls. Overall good job. Food was ready in about20 minutes. Good food in this genre is hard to find around here. We will have to try them again to see if they get a 4 or more. read more

Fast, typical Chinese take out food. Owner is nice and has that casual, "take out, but here are a few tables" vibe to it. Things are a bit under-salted but that is by design as folks can add as much soy as they want. Very fast and is willing to take special requests. Unfortunately, they got mine wrong. My general tso's chicken was not spciy and my Broccoli in garlic sauce had extra chili's in it. I'll give them one more chance in a few weeks. read more

Excellent food and service! We are from out of the area and stopped in for lunch. They had a nice selection of vegetarian options. I had a Vegetable spring roll and the mixed vegetables with garlic sauce. I asked her not to make it spicy as it was marked spicy on the menu. For the money, this is my favorite Chinese place around. Very good prices and portion sizes. Also, in my opinion very good General Tso's. The spiciness depends on how many peppers you get in your sauce but generally very good. I really like the shrimp lo mein and shrimp with lobster sauce. The egg rolls are tasty too.
