This place estimate for a worse case scenario was very reasonable and the lowest, so we took the car to him. This place is a small shop but the service is very good and very reasonable. I felt that he was very honest with us as he told us that the rotors were fine and did not need to be turned or replaced. Repairs ended up costing way less that the quote. He even took care of a small problem with the airbag light staying on, that was totally unrelated to the brakes, at no extra charge. The brakes are working just fine. We took the car into him again for a gasket leak. Again, got an estimate on worse case scenario. Again he was reasonably priced, so back we went to him. Once again, total amount for repairs were less than the quote. Car is running just fine. This is a 2001 Kia Sportage we're talking about. Highly recommend this place. I definitely recommend this place if you need you car repaired.

I was honestly a bit hesitant based on the reviews as well as a personal experience from a friend, but there aren't many options in Kingman for brake service so I rolled the dice. My car was seen promptly in reference to my appointment, it took a little more than thirty minutes but again, they were busy. While sitting in the waiting area I overheard them do their best to see customers without appointments, even patiently dealing with an exceptionally rude woman that made her appointment for the wrong day. I suspect she knew she scheduled the appointment for the next day but had been unable to get an appointment she wanted, she came in looking for a fight, that said they were very professional in dealing with her and as much as it irked me that she believed she could bully people in that way, they did make room for car to be serviced, it was the right move as a business, but unfair for the employees to have to deal with her. Rant over, back to the service that I received, after the inspection Tim told me that my brakes were fine, practically new as were the rotors, I had nothing to worry about. As a woman I'm used to mechanics attempting to take advantage of me, especially at larger chain businesses, I was very impressed with the honesty. Tim pointed out a few things that I should service like my tires, which they don't do, they weren't trying to sell me anything just keeping me informed. There was no charge for the inspection, because of the honest business approach I will definitely be returning when I do need to have my brakes replaced.

After the alignment, they told us the tires needed balancing as well, so we agreed to that. They took the car on three test drives and assured us each time that it was running "smooth" and everything "looked good." We were told maybe we had "bad" tires or possibly a problem with the transmission and sent on our way. Saying the Volvo was driving "smooth" couldn't have been further from the truth. The moment we got in the car, it was vibrating and bouncing just as badly as before. It genuinely felt like they wanted us out the door rather than taking the time to diagnose the real issue. When we got home, a simple Google search pointed to bad CV joints and control arms. We took the car to Tire Works in Bullhead City, and they confirmed exactly that. It's hard to believe Stockton Hill Tires didn't catch something so obvious. Tire Works replaced the parts, and now our Volvo drives perfectly. The staff at Stockton Hill Tires were friendly, but friendliness doesn't fix a car. Whether they didn't know what they were doing or just didn't want to deal with it, the result was the same. Based on our experience, I can't recommend them. Tire Works in Bullhead City, on the other hand, got the job done right.

Had recall work done here, tailgate would pop open while driving down the road is what the recall…read moresaid. I never had an issue before the recall. Recently was driving the vehicle at 5 mph making a turn and the tailgate popped open and was damaged. The tailgate hit my trailer jack. Went to the dealer after this happened and was told to call Ram Customer Care. I did so and they asked if the dealership had inspected the tailgate. I said no and they asked why not. Went back to the dealer and they flat refused to inspect it and said the manager would call me. That never happened but they talked to Ram Customer care and told them the recall work was done and done correctly. How would you know without inspection?! Long story short T&R collision fixed the damage to the tailgate and fixed the botched tailgate recall and adjustment. I have the typical hemi exhaust leak as well as a couple maintenance items that I was going to have the dealer do but since they let me know how they do business I will be going else wear for the maintenance and repairs needed. They are obviously perfect the first time whether or not the work holds up. Funny how I never had an issue with the tailgate until they touched it for the recall. So now I just call the FTC and NHTSA and let them deal with this situation. Then pursue further legal action. May decide to park across the street with a big sign to warn the public or the poor business practices of this dealership and its staff. Would have been way better to come inspect my vehicle for both of us. Definitely going to pursue this issue further even if it costs me some dollars to do so.....

I was traveling through the area and my car was having some transmission issues. I called this…read moreshop at 8am as soon as they opened in hopes of getting in. I explained what was happening and I was told I could bring the car in. After a transmission drain and fill (about 2 hours due to the transmission needing to be warmed up to a specific temperature to check the level properly) we were back on the road and it resolved my issues. They were honest, fast and best of all fair in their pricing. They didn't gouge me or overcharge me for being in a bind. This is a true mechanics shop. They don't have a luxury waiting room with TVs and fancy coffee and snacks. Just simple seats to wait there if you must. I was actually excited when I saw that. Maybe I'm old school but I prefer a shop that is about fixing the cars right for a fair price and about their craft. If you are traveling Route 66 this year with the big 100th year or just in the area and are having issues, I highly recommend this shop.
