My friends and family highly recommended Sterling McCall and I've worked with them in the past when buying vehicles and service. The person who was assigned to me, Yancy, was very friendly and went over almost everything with me and being sterling mccall I thought i would only get brand new OEM Toyota parts. That wasn't the case as my insurance only approved aftermarket parts. When I picked it up the paint was almost flawless, minus a small deformation that wasn't caught during the final QC. However when I opened the hood and noticed that I had a used aftermarket right front led headlight I was visibly upset, especially because I asked the foreman and he said it was OEM. We had a brief conversation, not an argument, but I told them my insurance was charged over $6000 for the repairs,y premiums are guaranteed to go up, and you couldn't even offer me an option for OEM parts, which I would have gladly paid if the difference was minimal. Foreman and Yancy both sided with me and were able to order me a BRAND NEW OEM headlight along with fixing any minor imperfections that we noticed. They even went as far as to drop me back home after I dropped it off with them the 2nd time and deliver my vehicle back to me. That's what I call owning up to your mistakes and putting the customer first. I WILL recommend Sterling McCall Toyota Collision and hopefully I'll never have to use them again lol, but if the time ever comes where I need paint and body work I will definitely choose them.

However, I have not heard from anyone at Bumper Solutions. I have called all of the numbers listed on their website and no one answers the phone. My insurance company has also sent them an email, and I sent one as well, but we are still waiting for someone to respond. On Monday, we immediately went to the dealer to purchase a new part and asked for pricing to install the part. The price was RIDICULOUS! I immediately used CoPilot to locate shops in my zip code and Santa Ana Body shop was the first one to come up. We called and spoke to Brandon and told him the part that we purchased and asked for a price on installation. He quoted us a FABULOUS price for the installation, far less than the dealership and he suggested that we bring the car in at 2pm. We promptly arrived at 2pm and it took them 15 minutes to install the part. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the facility and also noticed that they also serviced cars. We will be bringing his Lexus RX 350 back for future maintenance and also will bring back my Audi Q5 for service. We highly recommend Santa Ana Body Shop!

However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.
