We rented 3 bikes for myself, my husband and our 12 year old son. It was our son's first time on an e-Bike and unfortunately, he was not confident enough and fell off it just as we got to the Zion entrance. He suffered a significant scraped knee and chin and the bike chain came off. We struggled to care for him and get the bike chain back on, and finally called the shop to ask for help. They arrived quickly and got the chain back on the bike for us. After they left we worked with our son for about 10 to 15 minutes in the parking lot to get him more comfortable on the bike, so we could continue on, but after the fall, he just wasn't able to get his confidence back. We were trying to make a Ranger program and were running out of time. We decided, to call the shop and ask them to just come and get the bikes, so we could get on our way on foot to the program, but they had a better solution for us. They offered to bring a cargo bike and take back two of the bikes. This allowed my son to ride on the back of the bike as a passenger and got us to our destination more quickly than walking. We also got to enjoy the thrill of the eBikes!

The staff at the store were cheerful, helpful, and really went beyond in my opinion. Wally, our shuttle driver was great and I'd request him in the future. We ran into him on the trail and we all stopped and he took cute pictures of us. Thanks Wally. The bikes were so great that we both want to get one. Sigh, some day. They also have bike clothes. I buy most of mine online and that can be disappointing. I got a great jersey top there. It fits! Yay! They also recommended where to get great sandwiches (Deep Creek Coffee, a block away) and wow was that a perfect recommendation. As a hardtail owner and frequent rider, my biggest worry was sub-standard rental bikes. Nope, these folks have their own service area off the main room and my bike was in perfect condition. Banging down the slickrock obstacles and feeling the bike take care of me and own the line as the rocks challenged me along the way was a flying joy. A joy that only confidence in your machine gives. Seeing crowds of tourists in identical boots carrying the same poles felt like classic herd behavior and an unnecessary upsell. I was wrong. The rocks in The Narrows are uneven, slippery, and constantly changing. The boots provided great traction, and the pole was invaluable for both balance and gauging water depth. Could you buy cheaper gear for about the same price? Probably. But it likely wouldn't be as good, and you'd have to carry it around. Sometimes there's a good reason to follow the herd. This was one of those times.

They offer Rad power bikes so if you're familiar with that brand, it's basically exactly the same (just no throttle on the smaller Rad bike; the throttle is still on the Rad wagon). E-biking was hands down our favorite way to see Zion - it's just so gorgeous and when they're running shuttles, it feels almost empty on the road. I loved it and would 100% recommend it to anyone!

But then realized it should have been for all day. A quick call before they closed made it easy to change the length of the rental. We were met by Brian and Hannah at the store on Sunday morning. They give the best customer service with their knowledge, friendliness, and patience. They made sure we were on the right bikes for our height and comfort level. Each bike was taken around the store to make sure everything was in working order before we hopped on them. Rental includes the bike lock, helmet and carryon pack. The store location makes it so easy to get to Zion National Park. It's so much more convenient than waiting for the shuttle. The ebikes allowed us to stop wherever and whenever we wanted. There were so many photo opportunities that at times it was just a start and stop. As the day got hotter, the breeze from riding the ebike was refreshing. Even riding all day through the entire park with plenty of stops, the bikes still had plenty of charge left.
