This the type of place you can overlook or dismiss a a hole in the wall if you aren't looking for it. The dining area is only three tables with 6 chairs. More of a cozy waiting area than a place sit and eat. Good to know info if thinking about eating here as takeout is more appropriate. When you enter, you are greeted by a wonderful, smiling gentleman behind the counter who does it all and gives this place a homemade feel -- like my Greek grandfather is making me dinner. I talked to the owner who was making the food for me and he has been running this Greek business for over 30 years. What a great local businessman and very friendly and kind person. His personality alone would bring me back to support his business. Now for the food I ordered to go was the gyro plate which was perfect meat and Greek salad combo with some warm pita bread slices. The tzatziki sauce I would say is one of the best I can remember. I enjoyed the Greek salad dressing as well as it complimented the gyro meat. I also order the falafel and dolmades as sides. I love the parsley based falafel and was very good dipped in the tzatziki sauce. Dolmades were freshly made as well. I couldn't finish it all so some awesome leftovers for me! I tried technically four items and they were all excellent. I would come back again. There are only I believe 3-4 small two person tables so it could be cramped if eating there. read more

WOW!! Food - outstanding. Large portions. You would never think to try this soot - it's in an older building and rightnext to Kroger on N Kings Highway. Small inside - 3 tables. But has outdoor seating and you can always do takeout. We sat inside. Had the regular sized gyro and regular sized souvlaki (on a pita), side of fries. Was outstanding! Super good!! With all the tourist-type restaurants in the area, finding some authentic, high-quality food isn't easy. The Grecian Corner has amazing food. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall enterprise run by the same man for the last 30 years. He was kind and helpful. While we were there, another customer came in who has been eating there for 30 years. Weird place. Doesn't look like it's been cleaned in 20 years. Nice people, but I was kinda afraid to eat the food. Seating for maybe 5 people inside, 8 outside. The lady has to stand on a stool to take the order, a single man in what looks like a very messy, not too clean "kitchen" is behind. If she needs to come into the "dining" area she has to go outside and enter through the door. It's weird. Not good, but not awful. I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning. Small family run restaurant with excellent service and Greek food. My wife and I stopped for carryout lunch. I ordered the Greek Salad with Gyro meat and she ordered a Chicken Gyro. The salad was great, the lettuce was fresh with just the right amount of black olives and a generous potion of Greek dressing and gyro meat. My wife's gyro had a pillowy soft peta, generous portion of well seasoned chicken and delicious tzatziki sauce. The woman who waited on us could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I had gone to Kroger's and passed it a few times and finally decided to try it! Boy oh boy - I'm glad I did! The Gyro was excellent all the way! Not 100% impressed with the Tzatziki sauce; but it is more than acceptable! Needless to say I went back and I was just as impressed as then 1st time. The 3rd time there was no exception! Yummy! I love a good Greek Salad and finally ordered one from Grecian Corner. It really did not fail me one little bit! I always get a side order of Gyro meat to accompany my salad. It's my go to Greek place now.... One complaint though - Greek Salad should have Greek Olives - you might be surprised at what a big difference Kalamata Olives make in a Greek Salad! They should consider making the salad 100% legit with authentic Greek Kalamata Olives! From the outside it's rather unimpressive - but the food makes up for it. We have been coming to the same place in Myrtle Beach since 1972. This place has been here since 1994 and today was the 1st time we ever had their food. Amazing! Wife got the regular Gyro sandwich I got the Big Feta Gyro. Both were huge. Today it was a one man show...the owner, so polite and friendly. We love Greek food and try restaurants whenever we can. For such a small little place, limited items on the menu but the flavors were spot on. I do believe we will eat here regularly from now on. read more

We had a great experience. It's a one man show but the service was great. We stopped in an ordered our food and we got it within 20 mins and we are a family of 7. The food was amazing! If you go and there's a line ahead of you it is definitely worth the wait. We got a gyro, chicken souvlaki, garbage plate, and steak and cheese on pita. He even had chicken nuggets for the littles. For those who think bigger is better this is one time you'll will be glad you reconsidered.
