Went here for dinner! Ordered a veggie platter and a gyro platter. We were able to replace the Greek potatoes for house chips which turned out to be a good choice as the chips were well made and crisp. Both platters came with a Greek salad, tomato sauce, tzatziki, and pita bread. I was able to bring part of my dinner for lunch. Overall a decent dinner, gyro could have been a bit more flavorful but every else was just fine. read more

One time, I placed a big order at this restaurant location and our family had the most wonderful non-traditional American Christmas meal! Today, I was starving to death, thought about this restaurant, I haven't been to in about 2 yrs, swung in the parking lot and had an amazing meal that did NOT disappoint. The Greek salad is always a favorite for me. No meat needed. The pita is fresh the wedding cookies are oh, so scrumptious! The wine relaxed me after a hard day of car shopping in Gwinnett. We decided to order Opa! Via Uber Eats. The hubby ordered the lamb beef platter & I ordered the falafel platter. He said the meat was tender but unfortunately everything was lacking flavor. My dish looked beautiful but they also missed the flavor mark. The falafel tasted dried and not fresh. The lemon potatoes were missing the lemon flavor, the hummus and tzatziki needed seasoning as well. Maybe it was an off day? Will need to try in person. read more

I tried this spot at the recommendation of a co worker who wanted to dine here for lunch. They are known for authentic Greek food and gyros. I tend to like Greek Mediterranean or Persian. It was not as I had expected and the food was sub par , barely seasoned and chicken was over cooked. The interior was super hot like the AC was not full capacity so there were floor fans all over. The carpet was old and dated and didn't give the appearance of being well kept. The staff was friendly and attentive. The service here was good (on point) and meal came out fast albeit a slow after Holiday Monday . Ambiance is quiet with classical music for a relaxing lunch. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Overall, I thought it was a very solid mediterranean restaurant! I would definitely say it's one of the better ones that I've been to in the neighborhood. Usually mediterranean food food is sort of dry, but I think there was great flavor in the gyro platter. I shared this dish with my wife, and it was plenty for a small lunch for both of us. We ended that lunch with some cupcakes nextdoor, but for Opa it was great. Surprisingly, the restaurant got busier later in the afternoon, which sort of reminded me of Greece where restaurants usually get busier later on in the afternoon. Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch with a group and had a delicious meal of lamb gyros, Greek potatoes, and Greek salad. The food was delicious and the service was friendly as well. Called in advance to ask if any of their meats were halal and they responded that their lamb was prepared halal so it was a go as several in our group had dietary restrictions. Greek Salad was a classic favorite, and the dressing for the salad was flavorful and zesty...Just how I like it. The main course didn't have the burst of flavors as I thought. I ordered the Chicken Kabob meal marinated in Saffron, served with grilled veggies and pita bread. The chicken was dry, and I didn't taste much of a grilled taste. Even the pita was just packaged in aluminum. Generally I see this grilled again or freshly made. Again, everything was just a step down from what I normally have elsewhere. Was craving Mediterranean food. Stopped in to order take away since I had never been there before. Sat at the bar while I waited. Ordered a glass of Greek white wine recommended by Melissa and it was so nice and refreshing, crisp light and it just hit the spot. Glad I stayed and ordered instead of just calling in my order. The inside of the restaurant is not so impressive, but their food is very delicious. When you walk in, there are rugs scattered all around the floor. Slightly dingy appearance. I was hesitant to order a, but I'm glad I did. Never judge a reataurant by its cover, but def take a look at the health score, which we are good on that note. I ordered the greek salad and lentil soup. The salad was fresh and clean. Nice crunchy leaves. Salad dressing was perfectly tart and savory. Probably the best Greek dressing I've had thus far. Lentil soup was very flavourful. Tomato based soup. Packed with lentils. I was thoroughly impressed with their food items. I can only imagine how delicious they are chicken kabobs and gyros are. Will 100% be back to try. I'm not sure if it's every day, but today it looked like a one man band. The guy who greeted me also took my order and was packing the to go food. In addition, he was taking care of the patrons at the tables. So I think he works in the kitchen, as a host, as a waiter, ETC. Jack-of-all-trades. I didn't like the baklava. The "crispy" chips that was a choice for the meal was not crispy. It's fried in house but was not good either. The spanakopita was good.
