Greek Geeks are you listening? Are you hungry? Meet me at OPA!! Duluth has the best Greek Restaurant! Dine in take out, I've done both! One time, I placed a big order at this restaurant location and our family had the most wonderful non-traditional American Christmas meal! Today, I was starving to death, thought about this restaurant, I haven't been to in about 2 yrs, swung in the parking lot and had an amazing meal that did NOT disappoint. The Greek salad is always a favorite for me. No meat needed. The pita is fresh the wedding cookies are oh, so scrumptious! The wine relaxed me after a hard day of car shopping in Gwinnett. Highly recommend everyone give this restaurant a taste!! Service was friendly, efficient and quick! The atmosphere is relaxed so come as you are and have a delicious, authentic, Greek meal!!

We decided to order Opa! Via Uber Eats. The hubby ordered the lamb beef platter & I ordered the falafel platter. He said the meat was tender but unfortunately everything was lacking flavor. My dish looked beautiful but they also missed the flavor mark. The falafel tasted dried and not fresh. The lemon potatoes were missing the lemon flavor, the hummus and tzatziki needed seasoning as well. Maybe it was an off day? Will need to try in person.

Super nice staff. Nice ambiance. Accommodating with allergies. Gyros were very good. Excellent greek potatoes. Baklava is heavenly. Comes with 2 pieces. We asked for 1 each of walnut & pistachio. We'll be back!

Family operated & the food + service was spectacular. Some of the best lamb gyro we've had here in metro GA. The establishment is also very clean & inviting. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Chicken kabob lunch 18.99

Not a bad little spot. Stopped in and ordered the chicken kabob for lunch to go. Waited approx 10 mins for my food. Portion size was a little small for 18.99 but the taste was good. If I went back I would try a gyro or something different. The interior of the restaurant is small but clean and quaint. Owners are livery friendly.

I had a hankering for a gyro. I use to work in a mediterranean restaraunt back in the day so Gyros are my go to sandwich in place of burgers. The service here was good (on point) and meal came out fast albeit a slow after Holiday Monday . Ambiance is quiet with classical music for a relaxing lunch. Comfy tables and TVs adorn the interior and add to the atmosphere. Gyro was great but the greek potatoes a little salty for my taste. Everything considered a good place for your greek style lunch.

I found this place on yelp, recently through 23 & me found out my birth father is directly from Greece! Therefore I wanted to try! Excellent, great tasting, just right serving, great service, extremely clean. Will def be back

Lamb and Koubideh kabob combo, $31

Wasn't sure what to expect because we have Opa! In San Jose but different menu. Anyway, reviews looked great so ordered a combo kabob for pick up. Lamb and Koubideh. Thought it was 20 but paid 30. I liked the strong spices but elevated it with their hot sauce which was great. Cooked great with ample veggies, delicious side salad, and even a Naan. I thought $31 was steep but the quality is great and I'll be back! Want to try their gyro!

We had a quick late lunch here. I felt like I was back in Greece with people coming in at 2pm for lunch. It is definitely a mom and pop shop as family members were sitting in the back. We shared the gyro platter. Overall, good portion for sharing with good flavors. Dry meat has been an issue for me at other Mediterranean restaurants, but it wasn't an issue here.

Gyro Platter

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Overall, I thought it was a very solid mediterranean restaurant! I would definitely say it's one of the better ones that I've been to in the neighborhood. Usually mediterranean food food is sort of dry, but I think there was great flavor in the gyro platter. I shared this dish with my wife, and it was plenty for a small lunch for both of us. We ended that lunch with some cupcakes nextdoor, but for Opa it was great. Surprisingly, the restaurant got busier later in the afternoon, which sort of reminded me of Greece where restaurants usually get busier later on in the afternoon. Overall, a great mom & pop shop and somewhere I can definitely come back to if I'm craving for Greek food.

I've been going here for about 12 years. It's one of my favorite Greek restaurants in Duluth. It's really great for relaxing casual dinner.

As a frequent eater and lover of Afghani food, this place was excellent and I've been here 3 times…read moreeven though it's quite far from me. Kabuli pillow (possibly wrong spelling) was the highlight, and best in town. In fact, it was so well prepared that we came back specifically from it. They claim to be the first and best afghani restaurant in town - and honestly this checks out. They have great starters/sharables too, best for me is always the betinjan (eggplant). I like the Mantu as well, but tbh, had much better mantu elsewhere. The highlight is the pillow. Just go there! Ambiance wise - very family friendly. Simple and quite interior, nothing fancy, great for families or parties who don't want much noise and just want to eat and enjoy a conversation. Great service as always.

The prices seemed fairly reasonable. Customer service was friendly and attentive. I opted to order the chicken kebab plate, and it was quite tasty. The portions were a bit smaller than expected, and the rice was slightly bland on flavor, but I enjoyed the chicken kebab and the garlic yogurt sauce. The cucumber salad was refreshing, and was a nice addition. The green chutney sauce was alright, but a little watery in texture. We had to eat quickly due to scheduling constraints, but they were quick with providing takeout boxes, and sauce cups to take home with our leftovers. Overall, a solid place to get some great Afghan food.

Great selection of Middle Eastern goods; was happy to see دبس فليفلة which I haven't seen since I was in Syria and where it is made by the barrel in homes to last the year. The deli also manages good shawarma and the hummus is so delicious! I wish they were more generous with the side of it in the plate (was less than half full). The salad was tasteless; no salt/spices, nor dressing. A previous visit I purchased two cakes: one carrot and the other chocolate. The carrot cake didn't have any carrots in it (looked, but didn't taste like traditional carrot cake), and the chocolate cake wasn't good at all (bitter) except for the frosting. The 'espresso' based coffee was lukewarm and tasteless. The person put condensed milk in it which made it worse but he did remake it without charge. He kept calling me, mama, which was unsettling to me. I have a son less than half his age. I gave only 3 stars because of the overall ambiance and the discourtesy and unfriendliness of the staff. I didn't realize it, but nothing can be returned after two weeks; the manager, however, kindly did return three items.

Once inside, I noticed they sold halal meats -- I've heard their halal lamb is especially good -- along with lots of spices, snacks, and Turkish desserts. I bought one dessert to pair with coffee, and the flavor was definitely unique. I also picked up MAHMOOD Gold coffee. It tasted slightly bitter, but it was very refreshing and gave a nice energy boost. Before leaving, I ordered the Mixed Grilled Platter from the hot food section. Later, I realized I had actually meant to order shawarma -- the big slices of rotating roasted meat. The grilled meats were decent overall, though a little dry, and the butter rice became a bit heavy after a while. Still, it was a fun and interesting experience trying something different.

This fast casual cafe is underrated for the quality of food served. Think Mediterranean Chipotle…read more.. What makes them special? 1. Fresh made pita bread, made in house in a huge oven on premises. And, you can watch the entire cooking process. Not only is the bread made fresh, but it is CHEAP. 2. Fresh made falafel to order. The falafel and fries are made as soon as you order, so let them know up front. 3. Dips are delicious. Regular and spicy hummus, and babaganoush are all insanely delicious and under $5 for a tub. Pairs perfectly with their bread. My only complaints is that meals are served in a flimsy bowl that sucks all of the moisture out of the hummus. I'm also not a fan of their reheated meats and slop-bowl serving style that America loves these days. Too bad, because the meat quality and flavor is good, but once it's reheated so many times, the beef, chicken, lamb, loses it's appeal. The ordering counter is crammed into the corner of the restaurant and is very stressful to maneuver if there is more than one customer. They seem to do mostly takeaway business, even though the dining room is spacious.

I'm glad he did, because it turned out to be a wonderful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's interior. The Mediterranean-inspired design, warm colors, and tasteful decor created a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The dining room was much more spacious than I had expected from the outside, making it an inviting place to enjoy a relaxed meal with family. We ordered the platter for four, even though there were only three adults and my 2 year-old grandson. At first, I thought it would be far more food than we could possibly finish. To our surprise, every item was so delicious that we ended up finishing the entire platter. The meats were well-seasoned and tender, the side dishes complemented each other perfectly, and the fresh ingredients reflected the authenticity of Mediterranean cuisine. What impressed me most was the balance of flavors. Each bite tasted fresh, wholesome, and authentic without being overly heavy. It was one of those meals that encourages everyone at the table to keep reaching for another bite. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the welcoming atmosphere. It's easy to understand why Nature Village has earned such a positive reputation in the community. I look forward to returning to try more of their menu in the future and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a comfortable and family-friendly setting.
