I've been a fan of NYBS's restaurant since they opened, and my husband and I would visit at least…read moreonce a month for dinner.  Unfortunately, after a few recent bad experiences, we won't be returning.   My biggest issues recently have been - * Excessive salt on the Salmon BLT sandwich and meatballs - formerly, two of our favorite dishes * Smoked salmon fonduta - heating smoked salmon made this a fishy, unpalatable appetizer * Hamburger overcooked and dry, even with the added (very thinly sliced) cheddar cheese * Soggy fries * Crabcake aioli too sweet * Not enough servers to handle the demand in the restaurant, and we've noticed some turnover, too   I appreciate that NYBS offers reasonably priced specials and beverages, but their food quality has declined significantly since we first started eating there.  The only things we still enjoy are the steak flight, wings, and gouda and bacon macaroni and cheese.  It pains me to say this, but we are done. The decline in food quality and inattentive service have removed this restaurant from our rotation.

Healthy ingredients such as kale, sweet potatoes and wild rice will make any salad lover happy here. My only complaint would be the seating on the side. Benches were a little uncomfortable, but that is a minor thing, considering you can take your order to go and sit elsewhere in the Village. Food is delicious and fresh. I will definitely try something else next time too to enjoy more of the menu.

It was all a huge portion and really good. Would definitely order this again. Noise level was low as it was getting close to their closing time. Server was polite and professional.
